He didn't waste time, as his laws sunk into the ground, the blood quickly left his claws and the cells began multiplying, forcing it to spread from his fingers and began, as previously was mentioned, flooding the ground with the blood. It sprea quickly and caught her before she moved too far away from where it came off of his fingers. Once it touched her swiftly moving feet the blood stuck to her paws, making her black paws red with the blood. As soon as this happened he made the blood harden and thus whatever part of her paws were in the quickly expanding puddle of blood became stuck there. If nothing else this would buy him some time and that was all he wanted, he pulled his fingers out of the blood and started towards her slowly...surely first instinct would be to try and claw her way out and so he began to drench his claws with the blood so that if she did escape before he arrived he could hit her with the blades of blood before she could pick up enough speed to dodge the attack completely. He watched her close as he continued to close in on her and slowly the black blood made it's way to their present location. He smelt air flowing in with the breezes from outside ofthe forest which meant that they were close toi the edge of the forest now, he looked up at it for a split second before looking back down at her so as not to miss too much. She definitely was trying to leave the forest...to where, he didn't know, but anywhere she wanted to go, if it was out of the forest it was imperfect. That was worth something...

As soon as her last paw had begun to be freed he raised both ands, having drenched both of them for the fourth time with his blood. He aimed every last one of the blades at herin perfect precision, her inability to move made it that much easier to target her. Even if she freed herself completely before they hit at least one handful of the blades would hit her. He sped up though even after doing that and instead of trying to dive for her againhejumped up in front of this cat and waited for the spazzy little thing to try and pass through him. He had no plan of action but to try and grab her tail or one of her legs. He'd begun to run outof ideas meaning that he would start doing more then just trying to figure out traps for her, he'd do things more drastic...paranoia was taking over, paranoia of losing the advantage...if he had to follow her out of the forest then he would do it only after trying everything, even the simple things to try and catch her or slow her down. The BLood Demon's instincts made him want to stay on his own territory but the intelligence that he had told him that it would have been much better for him to spread the plague...she was the perfect subject for that and the black blood was really close now. It would catch up to them pretty soon but if he wasn't lucky enough for it to happen before they let then they'd probably reach the church before that happened and he'd be unable to force it into her without removing her from the church first. The emotions that he was experiencing now were making him more vulnerable to the one thing that would allow Suka to regain control...it was up to Karin now to make the diffference. There were still two options for him...to go down fighting...or out of frustration. Either way it was up to her...

Totro smiled at Sarah, sort of saying "No problem" without saying it. He squeezed the cigarette in his hand so that it became a twig, and he dropped it on the road. Arriving at the forest, he smiled at her. He moved his arm down around her back, from her shoulder. He smiled again as a small rabbit ran past them.

His left fist (the fist on the side that Sarah is not on) tightened, and he forced the sound "Mmhmm" out of his mouth. He just stood there, rigid for a minute or two before shaking his head. He loosened up, and looked back at her, "Yes, yes it is." He kept walking with her at his side. After a few moments he heard a roar, followed by a shreak-like squeel. He stopped imediatly. Both of his hands closed into fists and began to tremble. He turned slowly to face where the rabbit should have been. The rabbit was there, but it was dead and in the mouth of a leapord.

Totro's fist tightened around his cane. It seems he didn't hear her, or maybe he did and was ignoring her. He started to walk, his footsteps making indentations in the dirt, towards the lepord. Rising his cane, he pointed it at the leapord. It was no longer a cane, however. Totro ran at the leapored with what was now a solid metal spike in his hand. A small tear could be seen in the corner of his eye, perhaps there was something he hadn't shared about his path, either. The leapord let out another roar, dropping the dead rabbit. Totro jabbed at the leapored with the spike, his eyes closed tight. The spike just grazed the leapords ear. The angered leapored jumped at Totro who jumped out of the way.

(Edit: Alright, but stay for that twenty minutes, this is just getting good.)

The leapord fell. Totro began circling around it. The leapord couldn't get back up, as it's back leg seemed to not be working properly. Totro got a good look at it, and saw a blue arrow sticking out. Without smiling, or looking back at Sarah he ran at the Leapord from behind. In his hand was now, not a spike, but a blade. Not a fancy sword, just a blade. Blood streamed from his own hand, as the solid blade cut into it. He swung at the leapord, the blade causing a huge gash in the side of the animal. It now had some use of it's leg. It began to limp away. Totro took a few rocks out of his pocket, and threw them up into the air, hitting them. They transformed into metal balls, and flew at lightening speed at the leapord. Suddenly Totro fell to his knees, and waddled over to the dead rabbit.

((Sigh, alright, I guess I'll just finish this up, alone.))
Totro wrapped his bleeding hand in cloth that he had bought the other day. He, then picked up the corpse of the rabbit. He held it tight in his arms, like a baby. His tears mingled with it's blood and he felt it's soft hair. He layed the rabbit down on the ground, and closed his eyes. Totro closed his right hand in a fist, and raised his index and middle. His skin suddenly turned very pale, and he almost fell over. He put his finger on the rabbit's chest. He mumbled something under his breath, "Allow breath. Allow thought. Allow spirit. Allow life." The blood-stained rabbit opened its eyes. Totro opened his arms, and the rabbit hopped out. It was shivering and walking around, as though it was terrified. It ran off to a pond, to try to wash off it's coat.
