People who are pro-life are evil, right? Evil people eat babies! That would explain why we're prolife. We want the supply of babies to keep on coming in to feed us. If they kill them before they're ripe, we won't be able to be evil.
Thus, we kill babies.

I hate how that's good reasoning for how we're anti-child.
"Aw, the poor dear will suffer, so let's kill him." Applied to an unborn child, this is seen as wonderful. Applied to a five year old child who just lost his eyesight, this is seen as cruel.
Well actually, that standard is changing and now the second one would be seen as wonderful too, to some people.

Yes, we now live in a world were some people see death as an appropriate aliviation for any kind of suffering. Instead of facing their situation head on and living life ot the fullest as they claim they want to, they want death open to the lazy people and them selves, just in case. (just in case they decide to be lazy)
"They'll be a drain on society" is the common counter argument. And a logical fallcy I might add. Once again, they are claiming to knwo the future. Two, they are the problem, not the disabled person. They are the problem because they don't want to take the time to see if the person is still capable of living a "normal" productive life, and seeing if they are capable of preforming other tasks.
Hmmm...it is interestign to note, and this is being thrown at the christian choicers who feel that an abortion is the only way to escape an extrem hardship inlife, that if abortion were as readly available in Mary's day as it is today, those christian choicers would have wanted to abourt Christ. Just take a look at Mary's financial sitation and tell me I'm wrong.
