Back on Anime Theme, I hadlike, two friends, we never really talked much, we just considerered friendship "Not getting in the others way and/or not bothering eachother". I stuck through that for a while, eventually I had more friends, and better ones at that. So stick it out here, it's not like anyone is actively trying to get rid of you.
