"I'm pretty sure there's a mission you gotta do." Maddy blinked as an idea popped into her head. A mission would be a great way to take her mind of things.

Sammy sighed. "Typical irony; you do a mission to get the fossil, then have to do what is most likely to be a much harder mission in order to awaken the pokemon. *sigh*... I guess it is sort of fair." She finished, fiddling around with her TADS.

"Yes... Anyways, I'm gonna just go outside and... think, I guess..." With that, Maddy left HQ and sat down in a nearby tree that looked out over the ocean. "I wonder what he's doing right now..."

Sammy nodded, waving goodbye. "Well, I should probably get goin' too." She said, picking Squirt up. They both disappeared up the stairs.

*Late in the evening, Archie returns to his quarters aboard the Tsunami Megasub. He walks over to a video screen and turns it on.*
Archie: Matt, Shelly. Report.
*His admins' faces appear side by side on a split screen view*
Matt: It's as you expected, sir. Rocket's too well entrenched for us to make a move yet.
Shelly: Galactic is powerful, but haven't established their presence as thoroughly as Rocket. With our new allies, we should have enough power to carry our the plan in Sinnoh.
*Archie smiles at the news...*
Archie: Good. We'll set course for Sinnoh...
*...but his face darkens almost immediately*
Archie: After we tie up a loose end in Hoenn.
Matt: The traitors, sir?
Archie: Yes. They've been a thorn in my side long enough. Make preparations for a total black-out.
Shelly: With all due respect, sir, a total black-out would stretch our forces too thin.
Archie: Did you forget? Our new allies have made us even more powerful! Begin preparations immediately!
Matt and Shelly: At once, sir!
*The view screen goes blank*

Weavile *paces around HQ looking for someone to bother while Tropius is outside sunbathing* "god where did everybody go, it was so lively yesterday" *hops on the couch and tries to turn on the TV with the remote having trouble sience it was designed for human use*

Maddy woke with a start. She was still sitting out on that tree. "Oh, I must've fallen asleep."

Ike: *Walks outside for some fresh air. The sky was dark and cloudy, and a cool breeze flew past him. He takes a deep breath and lets it all out.* Hmm... *Looks around, wanting to go on a training mission.*

Maddy hears someone come out of HQ and looks over her shoulder to see Ike. "Hey Ike!!" She waved to him, still sitting up in the tree.

Ike: *Walks over to Maddy's tree and looks up* Wanna go training? Kinda looks like it's gonna rain... it could give water Pokemon a power-boost if it does.
