Mizuiro was shocked at just how awesome that was. He now knew just how to do it. Mizuiro took out a tag and placed it on the ground. He stepped back a bit, concentrated on it and clapped his hands together to form the snake seal and then told the tag to explode in his head. It exploded after a second. It amazed Mizuiro he did it his first try. Though he started to feel a little dizzy afterward. He felt like he already needed a break. "I need something to eat Sensei, this jutsu seems to be taking to much other of me." Mizuiro fell backwards from fainting.DC12 vs 4 (d20) + 4 (ChkCon) + 5 (bonus) = 13. -3. 1/4 Cp 1/10 Jibaku Fuda: Kassei, (Exploding Tag: Activate)

Batsu watched in amazement as he saw Taka-sensei execute the jutsu beautifully. Soon after, he watched the other Hoshigaki do the jutsu well also. Only problem is that the guy started to fall backwards soon after. The young male immediately rushed to the other's back and caught him before he hit the ground. Blame it on his compassionate nature, but he didn't wanna see the kid get hurt. The jutsu would have to wait. Batsu wanted to make sure the other guy was okay first.

Mizuiro felt himself being caught by someone. He didn't really expect it, but he wasn't pleased either. He didn't care if he fell to the ground and knocked himself out, at least he would be a sleep and resting his body. He push away the boy as he got up on his own feet and walked off the effects of using the tag technique at his level of experience.+1 Cp.

Mizuiro put the tags into his pouch and went to grab some kunai to help him focus his mind. He looked at the target, while wobbling a little. He was certain that as he threw the kunai it would hit the bulls eye. It didn't. It missed completely.3+2 = 5 +0exp Mizuiro was pissed, and he decided to just throw the kunai hard, while aiming as best he could. He didn't care, he just wanted to get his blood flowing mainly. But amazingly, he got a good hit. A really good hit! It was a good double shot. He was more pissed about slipping over then missing his shot.2+2 = 4 +0exp Mizurio just chucked the kunai at the target in anger, not really caring about where it would go. He was a little frustrated by the fact he just couldn't seem to get accurate shots all the time.1+2 = 3 +0exp 3+2 = 5 +0exp Mizuiro took and deep breath and concentrated. Batsu took offense to the other's action. Here he was going out of his way to make sure someone was okay and he got pushed away for it? No, he didn't want a parade, or even a thank you.... but to be treated like that was unacceptable to him.
Events from prior experiences with other Hoshigaki started to playback in his memory and as he walked to go get the exploding tags he wondered if being in this squadron was the best route to go. One Hoshigaki was a jerk and though it was just one bad experience with the other, he was starting to fall in the same category as the first. Batsu honestly thought about waiting to learn jutsu altogether just so he wouldn't have to subject himself to the torture of being in a squad that had little to no respect for him as a person.

(30) The more Batsu thought about his team, the more his mind was riddled with hatred and ill-will. Batsu's once cheerful nature had become overtaken by disgust for the Hoshigaki race. With each passing second came more and more disgust. As the boy grabbed a bunch of kunai and exploding tags. Murderous rage came to mind. Taka-sensei had nothing to do with what he was feeling now, so it would be wrong of him to just change his opinion about him. He may have lost his better sense of compassion, but his immorality wasn't seared completely.
The boy took his tags and kunai and walked off to a vacant area, tied a tag to a kunai and launched the kunai into the air above him. AAs the kunai and tag went up as far as it could possibly go, Batsu made the snake handsign and watched with a smirk as the tag exploded into nothingness.
(23) It would have been nice to see a Hoshigaki at the receiving end of an explosion. But for now he had to make due with training. He knew the time would come to where he'd be able to exact a bit of vengence to his two rivals, but until then he had to bite his tongue and focus on teamwork for the sake of getting the hell out of the academy. Batsu started tying another tag to another kunai and hurled it at a nearby tree. He would wait until gathered enough tags at the same point just to see the effects of what would happen.
(18 ) Batsu tied yet another kunai to a tag and let it rip towards the tree. The boy made sure to infuse chakra into the tag. He would hate to get himself hyped up for a badass explosion only to turn around and see a puny bang as a reulst. The boy wanted to see some fireworks and fireworks was what he was gonna get.
(19) To be honest, Batsu grew a bit antsy to see a great big explosion. Besides, too big of an explosion could have catastrophic results. So as Batsu tied another kunai and infused it with chakra again. The boy stared at the tree for a second before throwing the newly-made tag at it. The boy figured that he'd make one more tag go over there before he'd detoonate them all.
(23) Batsu tied one more chakra-infused tag to a kunai and launched it at the tree After he watched the last tool connect with the plant, Batsu smiled and made the snake handseal. Instatntly, the tags ignited and exploded together to make one big explosion. It was so great that the tree split into many different pieces. What was once a big beautiful tree turned into a big hunk of nothing and what little remained was charred and ablaze in fire. Batsu smiled heavily as he saw this. It would have been nice if Akemi was in place of the tree though.
(27) "Well, now that the tree is gone, I guess I should just explode them mid-air. Can't destroy everything now", Batsu thought as he grabbed a tag and stared at it. The boy just stared at it. No thought, no action, just a blank stare. Eventually Batsu snapped out of his trance and resumed training, but the fact that he just stood there and blanked out was a bit off, especially for him. Batsu infused chakra into the tag, dropped it, and ran away from the area. The boy took cover behind another tree and made the snake handseal. As to be expected, the tag went off and there was a big explosion.
(11) Batsu came out from behind his tree and looked around. The boy saw a great number of places to blow up, but he figured that he'd take it easy since he was sure there were other ninjas that had the same mentality as him. So the boy took out another tag and dropped it to the ground. He then quickly ran to the opposite end of the training area and made the handsign. Nothing happened. The boy tried again and the same result happened. It was then that Batsu realized that Batsu didn't put any chakra into the tag.
(29) Batsu felt incredibly stupid for not puttiing any chakra into the last tag. This time, the boy put in more chakra than was required into a different tag and he dropped it to the ground and ran away. As he did so, he formed the same handsign he had been doing and the tag went off with amazing force. Batsu found that doing all of this was a bit fun, but it was becoming a bit monotonous as well.
(11) The boy was now growing a tad bit bored and with that he lost focus. Batsu noticed that as he looked at a different tag, it was a bit different from the other. He paid it no mind though. He made sure to infuse the tag with chakraa again and he dropped it and took shelter behind a small wall. The boy made the snake handsign and once again, nothing happened. He infused the damn thing with chakra and everything, so why wouldn't it work. Batsu got upset as he took another tag out.
(10) Batsu had encountered a dud tag and it wasn't all too pleasent. He hated that he wasted his own precious chakra on something that didn't end up working in the first place. There was nothing he could do about it though, so he tied the new tag to a kunai and stabbed the dud tag from before. The boy then walked off to a safe distance and made the snake handseal. Nothing happened... again. The boy got pissed and screamed. "SON OF A b***h!!"

(29) By now Batsu was angry as hell. The boy experienced two duds in a row when he wanted so desperately to end the training and move on to the last jutsu needed. The boy grabbed a kunai and a tag and tied the two together. The boy then launched the two ahead of him and swore that if he had to deal with another dud then he'd go off on someone or something. The boy formed the snake sign and saw that the tag did in fact explode. Good thing too, because Batsu was not in the mood to deal with another misfire.
(17) Batsu quickly tied another tag to a kunai just as the last tag went off. The boy was startinng to speed up his training just so he could go on to something else. Batsu forced chakra into the slip of paper and threw the kunai just as he did the last time. He made the sign and also like last time, the tag went off. Batsu went and stood up. Since he was down to his last tag, he figured that he'd try something different and go out with a bang... or at least a boom.
(14) Batsu tied the last tag to the last kunai and got himself prepared. The boy waited a few seconds and launched the kunai parellel to the ground with the handle of the kunai facing him. As the kunai came within reach, the boy jumped and gave the weapon a nice roundhouse kick. This sent the kunai and tag flying through the air away from him. When the kunai flew far enough of a distance to where he couldn't be hit, he made the snake sign. The boy stared intently as the tag exploded mid-air. Happy that he was now proficient in the skill, the boy fell to his butt and just sat. Jibaku Fuda: Kassei, (Exploding Tag: Activate) 20+9=29 8+9=17 5+9=14 10/10 Training complete

Batsu eventually rose to his feet and walked back towards Taka-sensei. The boy stopped right in front of him; however, Batssu didn't bother to turn and face him. The boy didn't even bother to make eye contact with his teacher. Clearly the boy had changed from the time he started the tag training until then.
Batsu slid his hands in his pockets and looked down at the ground. His face was just vacant, stoic... dead. "What next Taka-sensei?"

Kagamiro Hideki, a newer student at the Academy sat under a tree watching those around him as he remained alone. He didnt want to be apart of anyone's lives. He only wanted to work alone. To train alone. His ideals were on complete self reliance, but he was informed upon joining the Mist Academy, that he would eventually be stuck with a squad. He didnt care about any of that, he just wanted to be a great swordsman, able to craft and use the blades with expert skill. He didnt feel he needed teamwork or friendship for that. Then again, his turbulent childhood and the loss of his adopted father to a freak forging accident lead to this cold heart and desire to distance himself from those around him. He didnt want to experience that pain ever again, but at the same time..He only wished he could share those feelings of sadness and regret without looking weak. "It's all a bunch of non-sense." He grumbled to himself as he leaned back and watched the blue skinned shinobi train with their teacher, while Kagami was cutting class himself.

He was smiling as he continuously pumped out halfway decent clones that took on a good shape and he could interact with before they poofed in a daze of chakra. Looking over his shoulder, he saw that the other student had apparently mastered the exploding tag jutsu. Sighing contently, at least he was kind of following in the footsteps of success, and that he would soon also be in the same state of progress as him. Ikasu made one more handseal and focused his chakra and exerted the perfect amount out of his body, letting a clone form with almost absolute perfection. Proud of how far he had gone in such a short time, he pointed out his success to Taka-sensei.

Quote: Check: 2+3 = 5, DC 10... Failure 1/3 CP Remaining Kagamijiro decided it was time to stop sitting around, shortly after having gotten some rest and relaxation while watching his class mates. It was time to start working on what he was told he needed to graduate the academy, so he could leave this silly little place behind. He was going to train, and harden his skills so he would be recognized as one of the great swordsman in the Hidden Mist Village.
So he went back over his notes from class onto the first technique. Bunshin no Jutsu. The illusion clone jutsu that would allow him to distract his opposition before swinging a sword to cleave them in two. "So.. I have to focus my chakra..and then create a perfect model of myself." His eyes narrowed as he looked over the information he was going to need for the technique. "Time to get down to business then." He said with a shrug before he planted his feet and made a hand seal. His chakra focused and flowed to his left side as he began trying the jutsu. "Bunshin no Jutsu..." He said to himself as he pulsed the chakra forward to hopefully succeed on the technique.

"Allright, Dammit.. time to try this again, perfect model, no failure. If I fail, then I will not eat lunch until I make up for the failure with two times of success." So Kagamijiro placed his hands in the correct seal, and began to focus his chakra once more. He was determined to get it right this time. "Bunshin no Jutsu!"
