Genjutsu Kai (Genjutsu Release)
The user attempts to break the chakra circulation flow in his body in order to see through a genjutsu. You can also use this technique on someone else.

Requirements: Chakra Control 8, Genjutsu 4
Training: 2 stages
Stage I: Genjutsu DC 14 Learn the basics of genjutsu. Learn how they work, and how to escape from it.
Stage II: Chakra Control DC 18 Become in tune with your body's chakra system. You may ask a friend who knows genjutsu to perform one on you so you can practice breaking your chakra circulation and the genjutsu.
Special: +your chakra mod + 2 per 10 ranks in Chakra Control to Will Save. The effect of this technique is stackable, that is if many ninja use it on one person all their bonuses are added.

In a lotus position, he sat with palms aginst his knees. His eyes were shut and his breathing were calm and present. "Going through my thoughts of Genjutsu.. "Once the jutsu is finished, or the person escapes from the it in some way. The psychological health of the person has severly deacreased since it's perception on what was right and false, on what was true and an illusion has been collided and is in a struggle with eachother to try and regain balance. This is confusing and hurtful. This results in an attack that once it is cast and done with, the target might yet feel it's affect years ahead. It is a truly horrifying area of our shinobi ways.." he shook his head back and forth.

"But none the less, it is the section which I've chosen to focus on and it will my weapon until the day I die. Towards none shinobis, the genjutsu displays it's real powers. Since they have had no training in dispelling jutsus, or hardening of the mind - the simple minded are easy to manipulate and cities which are not governed by shinobis have their handsful once I visit. Oh yes.. I should probably start by casting jutsus on the loved and respected of the village and then gaining control over the strong and powerful. Like the guards, the noble and the wise."

A smirked spread across his face. He was going to be so powerful. It was an overwhelming boast of confidence as he figured that soon he was going to be able to conquer entire cities. "Fantastic.. But - back to the matters at hand. There are two ways to use Genjutsu, either you cast it infront of your enemy or target, notifing him that it has been cast. Or you do it discreetly, without anyone noticing, the target then walks around, not knowing that it is affected until it is activated"

"I would suspect, that a person that is in the realm of sleep - is much easier influenced by a genjutsu then by a person who is awake. Surely the brain is in an active state once it is dreaming. But dreaming is already surreal and unrealistic so setting up a trap there would seem fitting to the target. Turning the dream into a nightmare is a perfect way to conceal an attack. The target would wake up the next day and not realise that it's horrible hours of hell while sleeping were the work of a shinobi - not his random mind. This could result in a succesion of sleepless nights and fear of sleep in general which would lead to a very weak person once awake. Genius."

"Yes.. That reminds me, my jutsus at this hour, focus alot on the sense of touch. This is not very subtle and could be dangerous since I am not talented in any melee combat. I should stretch my expertise into more ranged jutsu attacks. Focusing on more subtle approaches. Such as sound.. That is a great way to capture an enemy. Through the sound of a bird chirping. Or the sound of leaves in the wind.. Oh yes.. That would be a perfect way to indues a jutsu. And! Maybe.. Just maybe.. I could create some sort of powder, an pour it into the water supply of a village or city. The powder would contain some kind of brain altering substance that would ease or directly influence my jutsus..."

"Breaking free from a genjutsu is tricky. You have to stop the flow of chakra in the body's system, which allows a reboot of the controls of the brain which have been affected. If the Genjutsu is discovered before the target has lost all control, the user can active the very jutsu I am trying to learn to disspell it. Otherwise, someone from the outside needs to assist to break the illusion"

"Usually, Genjutsu is about hurting the mind. But it is also optimal for confusion. An escape is a perfect way to introduce Genjutsu. I would think that as you are running away from enemies inside of a building. You could change the way the chasers see the interior. Perhaps as you take a right at the end of a corridor, where there are the options of either left or right, you could make your enemy think you have taken a left and thereby giving you some extra time"

"Hmm.. I would like to construct a Genjutsu.. That could physically influence the body. The body percieve the affected mind to be so realistic that it responds in accordance. For example.. Creating an illusion of the hands of the targets, being frozen in ice. The sensastion of the hands being so cold, would create the effect of frostbite. Meaning that the body would think that the water in the body had frozen to ice which would lead to the death of the cells contained in the hands. Rendering them useless for combat."
Masanori felt that he had gone through enough of Genjutsu. He was sure that he had enough information so he could proceed to the next step of the jutsu.

"Right.." He dusted off the palm of his hands by slapping them up and downwards against eachother. "time to continue to the next step.." he rubbed his chin with his right index finger and thumb. "If I am not mistaken.. I need to be entranced into a Genjutsu and escape from it.. Wouldn't hurt to analyze it while I am in there.. Okay, next stop: the academy" he knew there'd be a few over there that could help him with what he needed. Surely, they could take a few moments to help a fellow man.
He started to make his way onto the dirt road and out towards the streets of Kiri.
