Ukaia stood up. she wrapped a warm blanket around them both and then headed upstairs

Arlen hugged Lily back just as tightly. "I lied," he said painfully.

Lily looked up at him, eyes still sparkling with tears. "About what?" she asked, not relinquishing her hold, or loosening it. Vaguely, she realized Ukaia had left. "Night Uka." she called absently, most of her attention on Arlen.

"I've been hungry for the past few days," Arlen said saying each word carefully. "But I lied and said I wasn't so you wouldn't worry. I can't eat Lily. No matter what I try I just can't eat."

Lily froze, blinking at him. "Arlen..." she bit her lower lip and buried her face in his chest again. "I wish you had told me." she whispered, then nuzzled him lightly. "We'll find a way to fix it...we have to. Arlen, if you don't eat..." Lily didn't finish her sentance, and bit her lower lip instead.

Ukaia didn't bother responding. lily was to busy right now. She sighed sitting at the top of the stairs and hugging her doll to her chest. Her mind was thinking about things that might happen and what she should do.

"I'm sorry Lily," Arlen repeated leaning against her. "I was stupid. I've probably hurt you, and I was an a** to Ukaia. I deserve this pain," he added his hand wandering to his stomach.

"No you don't." Lily told him fiercely, eyes blazing. "You don't deserve any pain." She layed her hand over his, then kissed him lightly. "You don't...I wish I could take it away..." The tears gathered again, though this time they didn't fall. "I can't stand this, seeing you hurting."

"She's right you dont' deserbe it" Ukais said to him quietly. Stepping from the stairs. she'd herad that bit of it
It dosen't matter if you're an a** to me or not. You dont' deserve pain. And if you can't eat food.. perhaps you hunger for something else" she said to him walking over. She looked at him curiously

Lily began to sob at that, clutching his shirt in her fists. "Arlen..." she whispered, trembling as she clung to him.

Ukaia frowned.. and then with out hesatation she brought her own claws out and cut her wrist.. she held it silentley near Arlen's nose. Just so he could smell it. Usually when somone was hungry.. but coudlnt' eat food.
It ment they needed something like blood..

"Ukaia?" Arlen asked when he heard her voice. "I'm sorry for how I treated you."
"Please Lily," he said putting his arms back around the sobbing girl. "If you cry I might start crying too."
"What're you doing Ukaia!?" he exclaimed once he smelt her blood.

"It's fine.. " she said soflty
"And i'm testing soemthing" she said simply to him. She let the blood flow down her wrist and otnot he floor and down her arm. Making a small pool.. wondering if he would drink it.

Lily grappled with her tears; she didn't manage to stop them completely, but they slowed considerably, and she wasn't shaking anymore. Then she looked at Ukaia blankly, utterly perplexed as to why the woman had done that, silent tears rolling down her cheeks.
