Not having a chance to dodge Apollo was hit head on by the Acid attack and gave a squeel of irritation. Luckly that also shook off the Paralysis for a moment. Not waiting for his trainers comand all ready knowing what it would be Apollo reared back opening his mouth and letting out a powerful Flamethrower attack. Dante while glad to see that Apollo was able to move for the moment he was also a bit worried about the Acid attack that had hit him.

Mike smiled at the thought of riding Hiro, he loved that magnificent Arcanine. "Not to mention we can hitch a ride on Nitro. Even if we don't know where we're going, it'll still be alot faster than waking." "Ding." "Oh sweet." The fact is he could never get sick of that sound, it always meant that things were ok, and his Pokemon were good to fight another battle. "Excuse me one moment." Mike made his way over to the PC, reentering his login and password. After connecting to his home computer, he placed Titanium in the transfer slot and selected Napalm's icon. He decided to send his mother more than just Pokemon, and wrote an email attachment. Dearest Mom, Thank you for the constant kindness you show my Pokemon. It really showed today, as Titanium helped me shake up the Saffron Gym. He was amazing mom, you would have loved to see it. Make sure you spoil him rotten when he gets back.
I hope Proton and Shiver are doing well and that Napalm is not giving you any trouble.
With love, Your son Mike <3
P.S. I'm loving the gloves mom. In fact, next time I stop by, I'll need to get them refueled. See you soon! With that, he confirmed the transfer, waving good-bye to Titanium as the Pokeball disintegrated and in its place was Napalm's. He took it from the machine and clipped it to his strap. He then walked back over to Kasiya, placing a hand on her shoulder. "So, we ready set?"

Victreebel screeched horribly as the Flamethrower attack engulfed it. It was still standing however, for the moment. It shot a death glare t Apollo, opening its mouth for another Acid attack. A much weaker spray of acid was shot forward, but this proved to be too much for the Flycatcher. Uttering a muffled shriek, Victreebel toppled over, its vine writhing on the ground for a moment or two before it became still.
"Oh!" Erika gasped, putting a hand to her mouth. She smiled, though, and held out its Pokeball to recall it. "You fought bravely, Victreebel," she said. "Especially when the odds were against you."

"Yup, I'm ready," Kasiya nodded, having already folded her map and stowed it away. "Come on Flash, in you go," she said to the Jolteon, holding up his Pokeball. He gave a disappointed sigh before being recalled, and Kasiya clicked his Pokeball onto her belt, in the place that was normally reserved for Shocker. She glanced longingly at the PC that Mike had just used, already missing her beloved Raichu dearly. No, I promised her a break. She's probably having a ball right now, playing with Seto, Allie, Digger and Rosemary... She felt a pang of guilt, and promised herself that once Ada had gotten stronger, she'd give her Sandslash, Bayleef and Skitty a chance to catch up as well. "Shall we be going then?" The cheerful girl grinned at her friend, and then skipped outside. She stopped, catching sight of the ruined building in the distance, and frowned. "If I ever find out who it was that killed all those people,” she mumbled, clenching a fist. "They're gonna be sorry." She sighed, and shook her head. She'd never really understood why people killed each other. It was such a waste of life and energy.

Suddenly the ekans glowed purple and began shooting off in various directions. Lyn stopped her scream and looked foreward to see a drowzee using confusion on the ekans. "Are you the drowzee chef?" Lyn asked slightly confused due to the drowzee saving her from the scourge known as snakes and becasue of being in such close proximity to a confusion attack. She then noticed the look on the drowzees face and was even more confused. Every part of it's face looked like itt felt a different emotion. It's right eye was doopy like he was sleepy. It's left eye was squinty like he was acusing someone. The right side of it's mouth was tilted down like it was annoyed and the other side was tilted up like it was happy. It's rather large nostrils were flared like it was mad and it was crying like it was in great pain. 'Aleoamne reoplee.' The drowzee psychicly screaming grotesqe sounds into Lyn's mind causing her to cover her ears with her hands, not that it would help. "Ugh!" Lyn groaned as the mind screaming continued. "Amy. Bubble. Now." Lyn managed to get out through her gritted teeth. "Sur!" Amy yelled wasting no time in firing explosive bubles of at the drowzee.

"Let's start things up with a Quick Attack!" Mitsu called out. A spark or joy skipped across her eyes as the Pidgeotto complied. Zyphyr raced forwards and soon became a brown blur with a brilliant white streak tailing behind. He collided with the Spearow who in turn was sent tumbling backwards. "Spear!" The girl shouted, concern layering her voice. "Peck you can do it!"
The smaller bird flew at Zyphyr, it's beak pointed to his chest. Zyphyr nimbly evaded the attack, only getting clipped at the wings. "Finish him with another Quick Attack!" Mitsu called out. The Spearow was defiantly weaker than Zyphyr and Mitsu was confident that this would be the end.
Wrong. Zyphyr flew in low to the ground then skyrocketed upwards. It was a clear Aerial Ace. Mitsu sighed; he still wasn't listenig to her. The Spearow was struck with the attack but he wasn't down and out. "Mirror Move!" the girl called out. Spear nodded then copied Zyphyr's exact movements. Zyphyr too was struck with the deadly accurate attack. Zyphyr still looked like he had a lot more stamina to continue but the Spear wasn't too well off. "Once more!" Mitsu instructed feeling very confident.
Zyphyr complied and the attack ended the battle. Two out of three commands weren’t that bad right? Mitsu smiled as he flew by her head a bit. She pulled her arm out and let the bird rest there. "You were awesome Zyphyr!"

Dante blinked a little suprised that it was over. When it finally kicked in a smile came across his face. Not caring that the arena was still slippery from the acid, and it would probably burn through the sandles he was wearing, he made his way across it and threw his arms around the silver fire pony. "We did it Apollo, we got another badge thanks to you." Upon hearing that Apollo gave a happy whinny and stamped his hooves down a few times excitedly.
Pulling himself away from Apollo, after giving him a comand to go pick up Meowth and take him to the pokemon center, along with Bahamut, so that they could get healed. He turned to face Erika a smile still on his face. "Thank you for the wonderful battle Erika."
-----------
Following his masters orders Apollo trotted over to Meowth, who had a pokeball in his hands, and tossed him up onto his back. "Hey what they hell was that for! Put me down!" Meowth complained feebly, he was still poisoned after all. Ignoring the cat Apollo trotted out of the gym, it was kind of awkward because he froze a few times due to the paralisus. Out of the gym Apollo trotted proudly past Keegan's battle, watching it curiosly as he pasted by, and up the ridge burning the small tree that got in his way. That done the silver fire pony held his head up high and trotted happily through the streets and into the pokemon center.
Nurse Joy who for once didn't really have anything to do watched the specical. After all you didn't usually see a Meowth trotting on top of a black and white Ponyta everyday. "Umm yes can I help you?" She asked before she remembered that pokemon couldn't talk.
"Yeah our trainer sent us here to get healed while he was at the gym." Meowth responded tiredly.
Nurse Joy blinked at the response but decided not to say anything about it. Getting up from behind the counter she made for a door. "Follow me if you please and I will get you all fixed up."

The contact to the hard gym floor wasn't enough to knock the Beedrill out he flew back into the air. It was weak and it looked as if one more strain of effort was pulled he'd collapse. "Let's make this last attack count Beedrill! Sludge Bomb!" Jake cried. The bee Pokemon beat its wings weakly attempting to fly at the Aska before releasing the poisonous goop. To Jake's dismay to was a bit too much for the poor Pokemon to handle. He fell to the floor. Before making contact Jake sucked Beedrill back into his Pokeball. "Good job buddy. It's all you now Kev!"
Kevin bit his lip. Unlike his partner he lacked self-esteem and a one against two didn't seem all but fair. "Night Shade Arri," he called out. The Ariados seemed to grow three times its size as the tied up Akira cried out in fear. She seemed to be near her end. Rin bit her bottom lip. The fountain of ideas was running dry. Akira was helpless prey tied up and unable to move like that. "Miharu, do ya think you can have Aska cut Akira free?" Rin asked unable to think of any other option.

Erika handed her three Pokeballs to a young girl, who took them off through a room at the back. "Congratulations on your victory," she said, giving a slight bow to Dante. A rather healthy-looking Ivysaur walked up to them, holding a velvety green box in its vines out to Erika. "Thank you, Ivysaur," she said, opening it up. Rows of shining Rainbow Badges looked up at them, and the leader carefully selected one of them. Another girl handed her a small pouch, decorated with flowers. "These are for you, my favourite TM, Giga Drain, your prize money, and of course, your new Rainbow Badge." She smiled sweetly as she handed them to Dante. "Also, I would like to say one more thing before you leave," she said suddenly, shifting on her feet uncomfortably.

Taking the badge from Erika along with the TM and the prize money he carefully put them in the messinger bag at his waist. " Thank you very much Erika." He said happily. Levi who had watched the whole battle with wide eyes saw a chance to jump at the pretty gym leader in front of her and took her chance. Luckily Dante had felt her shift and reached out to grab her before she could Tackle Erika. Hearing her question Dante raised an eyebrow slightly confused. "What is it?"
---------
It didn't take them very long to get healed up and soon all three of them, Bahamut had been let out of her pokeball, were out of the Pokemon Center. Heading back to where the gym was, Apollo burning down the tree that had mysteriously grown back. Seeing that Keegan was still out there they made there way over to him. Bahamut gave a happy screech upon seeing him and latched onto his head happily. Apollo just gave a snort and turned his attention away from the small dragon pokemon. Meowth was taking a nap on Apollo's back so he had nothing to say.

Mike nodded, he too was willing to dish out some justice to those who kill needlessly. "Same here Kassie." The smoke was still visible, albeit weaker then it was the day of the incident. He unhooked Napalm's Pokeball and released him, the little Magby seemed to have grown since he was at his mother's. "Why hello there Napalm." The boy said with a smile. The Fire Pokemon squeaked, flailing his arms and attaching to Mike's leg happily.
"Alright, let's change the subject shall we?" Mike said in a cheerful tone, hoping to pick his friend from her little slump. "What's going to happen after Koga?" He picked up Napalm, setting him on his shoulder.

Mag was deep in contemplation whence a loud ring interrupted his thoughts. It was the message from Mitsu about a beach party in some city known as Slateport. "Sounds cool but, I have no idea where this Slateport place is! Maybe it was in Jhoto... or Hoenn..." He thought for a moment and then decided just to use his Pokenav maps. "Hoenn." he finally found it.
I wonder how things are with Mitsu? he thought to himself as he began to dial her number to see what was up. Since the Pokenav was a cell phone he also headed back to the pokemon center deciding that he would ask Nurse Joy if she knew how he could get to Saffron.

Ky frowned when he saw the String Shot tear to pieces. Seeing that the needles were aimed at the strings, Sting was able to easily hop away from those remaining. "Fine then, Sting, use your own Poison Sting!" Ky ordered. Sting extended the poisonous barb hidden within his shell. After one hop to gather momentum, he thrust himself forward, the barb's point in front. 'I know with Crenu I need to be creative, but Sting doesn't leave me many options,' Ky thought to himself.

Nina watched her friends leave, and she let out a sigh of disappointment. "So far I'm 0 for 2," she said annoyedly, as she wandered over to the Gym's PC. She deposited all of her Pokemon into the computer and withdrew them again, their health being fully restored. Nina found doing that was much faster than going to the Pokemon Center. A moment later, she released Anna from her Pokeball. She noticed her Pokemon didn't look too happy.
"You didn't need to call me back from that fight, Nina," Anna said, as she drifted a foot or so away from her trainer. "I could have kept going."
Nina shook her head. "No, you couldn't have, and you wouldn't have proven anything to me by letting yourself get defeated." The trainer chuckled to herself. "And... what the hell was wrong with me for even sending you out there in the first place? I knew that you weren't a strong fighter, yet I allowed you to go out and perform regardless. I should have sent out Krystal instead."
"Hey, thanks Nina," Anna replied, extremely bitterly. "That makes me feel really good about myself, ya know? And don't you dare blame me for being a poor fighter-- you're the one who's been raising me! Have you forgotten that?!"
Nina didn't respond. She turned away from Anna, and looked at the PC. "I let her down again," she whispered. "I took over this Gym in her stead and I can't beat anyone."
The ghost stared at her trainer increduously. "Nina!" she said, "You lost to two people! So what? You and I both know that Sabrina's lost to more than one person in her lifetime! And, moping won't do anything to bring her back, so just get over it!"
Nina slowly turned back around, to face Anna. "I... can't even believe that you just said that to me!" she screamed. "Do you know what it was like, to be right next to her when she was killed? Do you know what it was like to have her blood splatter onto me, when I was already in enough shock at the time? No, that's right! You DON'T know, because you weren't even there then!"
Anna shook her head. "You are ridiculous," she said. "I think that you're obviously miffed about losing, and you're just going to take it out on me since I'm conveniently here. Well, I've got news for you-- I'm leaving. I'll be back when you decide to calm down." Without another word, Anna left the Gym, passing through one of its walls. She floated about the city, and noticed Mike and Kasiya near the Pokemon Center. She approached them.

Almost absently Erika reached out to tug on the sleeve of Dante's shirt. "This," she said, shaking her head, "was most unnecessary. You see, I'm aware of how my gym's rule has been blown way out of proportion." She paused for a moment, giving Levi a gentle pat before continuing. "You see, boys are allowed to enter my gym anytime they want and issue a challenge. The rule is that boys simply cannot become members of this gym."
