Tenchuns first step stayed perfectly above the water, he knew he was getting the hang of it and continued to focus his chakra as he tried to take another step.

Takehiko's blue eye stoped glowing as hit yellow one began to glow the very same eye that he used to strike down Tenchun befor in ther spar "there that should be enough" he thought to him self as he focused

She just smiled at the two, and just laughed to himself. "Dont underestimate this practice! It's harder than I make it look," she says with a teasing tone. She just laughs and dance around on the water. Unfortunately, as she did that, she forgot to focus for a second, and fell into the water herself.
When she resurfaced, she just burst into laughter. Once she was done that, she put her hand on the surface, which didnt go through the suface, and then pulled her leg ontop, so it looked like she was getting onto a ledge, but it was just water. She then laughed again, and rubbed the back of her head. "As I said, I only did this recently too."

Takehiko's eyes opend as he steped onto the water witch soon sent surges throughout the lake randomly shocking select items "..." he tried to continue his focus

Takehiko soon felt his chakra being zapped away from the the skil he was using...but no matter he quickly tried to divert the energy at his feet

Tenchun had begun to feel more confident about his skill with this technique as he attempted another step, not taking as long to focus chakra as he had before.

Cerbi walked up to Takehito, and just shook her head. "You're wasting too much chakra. Sure, when you first try these things you'll use more chakra than you need to, but you dont need that much. You should only be using about 5% of your chakra each time. All I'm saying is, dont overexert yourself, nyeh?" she warns the student, she then just turns around and continues to watch them.

Tenchun almost kept himself afloat but a second later he made a mistake in his chakra control and fell into the water. He resurfaced near the shore and pulled himself out. He then looked back at the water with a bit of contempt in his eyes as he put his hands together to focus his chakra and attempted to take a step out onto the waters surface which now had small ripples every now and then from the random crashing of students through it.

Tenchuns foot laid perfectly flat on the waters surface, holding him above it as he attempted to take some more steps outwards.

Takehiko lost state of mind as the sensai began to talk to him..he felt himself falling under but used his lighting jutsu to move the speed of light as in the blink of an eye he was on the shore and he opend his eyes and looked at the sensai "...shut up already your a distraction and that is all" he said trying to focus one more time

he couldnt feel the amount of chakra needed as he tried to electrify his feet to help him walk on the lakes surface

Tenchun managed another 3 steps with his feet perfectly on top of the water, he was getting better and knew it as he attempted to try and take some more steps.
