Teehee, thanks. A lot of people in my family like to call me StarlaDawn, all one word like that. It makes me shudder a little everytime they do that. I've grown to like my first name more. Most of the time, I'm cool with it. I used to hate it though. I spent a lot of time trying to come up with a suitable nickname. Unfortunately, I never got one because my real name is so unusual.

I'm sort of named after my cousin, Dawn Celeste. My mom didn't want to straight up steal her name, so she kept the same basic meaning (morning star) and tweaked it a little.

I like the name you picked out. That's an awesome name.

I used to really think about changing my name, but I have no idea what I'd change it to. All the names I really like are boy's names.

Actually, my whole life would be a lot easier if I were a boy.

It's only partly society. Just generally don't like to do all the things that girls do.

Like menstrating. I hate that.

Okay, well, that's the only thing I can think of that isn't society related, but I think it counts for a lot.

Edit: Carrying a child! I forgot about that one. Something about having a creature live inside of me for nine months scares me in an Alien-face hugger sort of way.

I hate those too. I'm never sure if I'm really upset about something or it's just a crazy mood swing.

I'll get upset about something that really bothers me and all of my friends (all male) are like, "Geeze, get over it. You're just PMS'ing." Then I want to punch them all in the face.

I used to be on the pill, but it turned my mood sour and everyone hated me, so I stopped.

I get really depressed around that time of the month. It sucks.

And here I am, wishing I could carry a child. I'd totally switch places with you. (And I'd totally kick anyone's a** who told me my feelings didn't matter because I menstruate.) evil
