Colonel Iyam A Heita Frozen Kaori chan No you guys have your fun now you already started. I've kinda been stressed in real and the little happenings on here are just making it worse so I don't want to blow up and go all mad on people at this point. Besides my character as far as I can tell is the only real human so I'm just going to leave it at I was not given the right impression of what I was walking into and definately didn't enter a competitive character that can actually fight people who can throw air based grenades that travel faster than most humans can even see. I still will say one thing I find it funny some of the weapons and attacks I've seen in here how big and powerful they are but why was everyone mad at Galaxy when he nerfed a gun to a weaker state and entered that when half the stuff here is far deadlier.. oh well I guess I just won't understand for now. I'm too tired and grumpy so sorry. Sorry to hear about your personal issues and I understand your frustrations. Things are wonky with this tournament... but you weren't the only human in this tournament...well as much as one can be human Gaia. Also CoC is brand spanking new and not yet a good example of some of the ideals our community are trying to achieve. HoH was by far the best example and they still had hiccups and now it is essentially gone but I know a few members...myself included are trying to recreate that experience and build upon it. So don't forsake us yet. I'm not like I said im a bit stressed in life and it's affecting me kind of everywhere when I don't want it too sorry.

The Great Absolute My character is a God by title, and perhaps also in intelligence and wisdom. But by physical reference he is akin to epitome human. So the God is just a misnomer title. At least as far as CoC is concerned. We know, I think we are just giving you s**t. I don't think the fight between kaori was unreasonably off balanced. If I remember correctly, you did try to sell for her Pheremones rather than being immune totally. I just think the fight needed more time. it only got six post in.

Just debating.
Like Slash saying I am one to talk on character dynamics. I am one to talk as my character has a lot of dynamics. Powers the least of my concern, I focus on mechanics while in combat and internal struggle while not in combat.

Frozen Kaori chan Well I can tell your getting the second hand version of his weapons, he didn't have shoulder mounted flak canons they were slow firing plasma canons that did no physical damage but rather fired a ball that moved something similar to a slow firing mine that would cause essentially a splash of insta ice or something else. he had a handheld flak canon yes but it also according to what he's telling me did not fire as fast or as powerful as the one in the video game actually does, to the extent where dodging it was alike to having a mage fire a fireball with a lot more weight so it arcs rather than flies straight. Saying this I will let you ponder on that, because I note a lot of people in here just read flack canon and shoulder mount and jumped to conclusions, he actually made the weapons weaker than most of the skills allowed in the tournament. Well again, keep in mind a lot of what was in that tournament was broken so this isn't a good standard to compare to but, let's take the handheld flak cannon. Even if it's "not as fast or as powerful as the one in the video game," note what a flak cannon originally and actually is. It's a portable anti-air cannon. Flak in material is anti-aircraft arsenal.If it's able to shoot down a jet and/or bomber plane, it is probably of nebulous balance in a tournament. And if it can't? It's not a flak cannon and he shouldnt've titled it as such, because that's like entering a missile with the power of a smoke grenade and naming it "Atomic Bomb." As for the plasma, Area of Effect instantaneous solid matter is also pretty broken but, I'd need to see numbers before I can entirely judge that. Quote: Galaxy's failure as far as I can tell is he overwhelmed himself and simply couldn't handle the work he put himself up for. Yes there were some overpowered things and they probably slipped through due to Galaxy making time limits on everything including the judges on grading things. His biggest failure though is that he for whatever reason disappeared I think the only one who he even told is Slash as of what happened. Yup. Again I've been in his shoes albeit worse. Most recent was HoH '12 where my entire judging staff ditched. And yet I pressed onward. 'Cuz I'm a pirate.

So, am I to take it that you believe...in some way...that I under-sold, or misrepresented, any of your actions to the same degree as: Electric-sliding out of a three-post skull grip with claws that can pierce stone, onto which I had utilized an ability that increased there penetrative strength? All of which you did faster than he could clench his hand...from being face down on top of him...in a wrestler's lock? I think that's a bit unfair.

I at no point said you undersold or misrepresented anything. I'm not sure where this is coming from. But you were stomach down on the ground, reaching backwards over your behind. Right now, you are suggesting that your character can squeeze a stone and cause it to shatter simply on the merit of gripping it, which only proves my point that your character was exceedingly powerful. You call it an 'electric slide' but the power used to move away was accepted no differently from your own. His left arm also assisted breaking the hold. His head didn't break like an egg shell, no, but you got your damage, so I'm not sure why you are complaining.

Like, when Scalar told me that Eric was broken...I sat down at went over the whole build with him, and put my ego out of it. If someone says, "Hey, this seems off..." I typically listen. Nobody is perfect, or right, 100% of the time.

The claws can pierce stone...Eric isn't grabbing rocks and breaking them... He had a grip on your head, legitimately, based on how you described the hold to me (because, remember, I played this out IRL for clarity)...A hold he maintained for three posts, constantly squeezing, which you didn't bother to contend with. I accepted you sliding away because, honestly, I thought that...when it went to review...the judges would say "Wait, did he just...like...auto cancel a three post build-up in one move?" and say something. My complaint has more to do with the fact that you like to suggest, in the OOC, that the give-and-take was equal. I busted my a** in the last half to accommodate you, out of respect to your request to make the fight more interesting...and entertaining The fact that you don't really show any recognition of that fact is somewhat insulting.

No, actually, you wouldn't; which is why you're jumping to defend yourself even now by lashing out at my build...like you have any idea what I mean when I say it's broken. The breaks are late in play, primarily after Enter the Tiger Level two...where he could, in theory, use his abilities to create a nearly unblockable series of attacks. At the start of a fight, he is "human martial artist with magic staff". No energy, no powers. That said, I'm more-so pointing out that just because you think it's clever to build your character with near-invulnerability to everything doesn't make it so...and it doesn't make for an interesting fight. Kaori has every right to feel like a victim...because you treated her like one in character. Playing nice in PMs, and thrashing each other in character, does not make you friendly or helpful to each other; I dealt with the exact same thing with Glacialic in HoH last year.

I don't know for certain...I've seen him logged in a few times lately, but he never speaks. Originally he told me that it was something to do with the military, but he never went into detail.
