She noticed in the corner of her eye there was quite the fight that had brewed up. She knew she should break it up, but currently she was caught up in helping this new man. She was sure Aili would take notice and take care of it. If not, she would step in after she assisted this person. He seemed to be thankful for her help and she smiled, relieved that he didn’t try to hurt her.

Seyla racked her brain. Robert the Slayer. No she did not know any student of that name. He must have been new. She walked over to the android who began to chirp out her standard greeting. Instead of producing an acceptance letter, Seyla handed over her staff ID.

“Please locate student. Name: Robert the Slayer.”’ The android too her ID and scanned it using the infa-red lasers in her eyes.

”Thank you Miss Seyla Hawking. Locating student. One moment please.” Seyla then turned to the man while she waited for the scan to process. As a staff member, Seyla had access to some of the administrative systems, including the student records and locator. It was very helpful, especially in moments like these.

“Unfortunately, I do not know this Robert. However, I should be able to locate him for you and show you where to find him. No one has died have they?” She hoped the news was good news, but the way this messenger acted it seemed otherwise. He was frantic. Seyla’s curiosity was piqued at the mention of ‘his people’. It seemed this student was royalty of some sort? She recalled that there were quite a few students of royal blood within the school. Ria High welcomed students of all backgrounds which lead to a very diverse student population. There were cat girls, and other non-human species, as well as a wide variety of mages, fighters, and other gifted students. Seyla herself was a flame mage, and she helped other elemental students with their studies as a tutor.

”I hope you don’t mind. But may I ask who you are in relation to the student? I hope you understand that it is a formality and I must ensure the safety of the students here. We’ve had an unfortunate number of accidents in the past when unwelcomed guests snuck into the grounds and attempted to hurt students.” As she spoke she remembered much of what had occurred to her. It reminded her of her experiences with the military and how they would steal her away, sometimes from her bed even, and lock her up in a cage. She cringed, she never wanted to go back to those cages again. Subconsciously she gripped her right arm and played with the glove, as if trying to remove it. She felt a heat rise up within her, as if warning her not to remove it. Quickly she pulled her hand away, and shifted nervously from foot to foot as she waited for a response.

The Warlord Sighed and shook his head " Robert and me go way back. we grew up together in the palace .His father taught us how to fight , and taught us the ways of the Slayers"

He looked at the girl and smiled " She is afraid that i will harm her. Slayers normally don't harm females unless they are vampires ". He let out a soft sigh

" Why Do You look afraid of me?. Don't be We Slayers learned in our early years , that females are our equals and that in times they deserve more respect then men " He said in a calm voice

He put a hand on her shoulder and whispered " Yes their has been a death in the family. His father died 2 months ago from a vampire attack. His father was king of our people "

He looked at the Sky " why does it always rain when I come to a place its like the gods are always crying for me "

Kane's body shot up into the sky and was up there for some time now. But what goes up must go down. " I only hope that we land someone soft... or ill get bruised very easy." Kane said to the entity.

"Don't worry we are going to be fine" The entity reassured Kane that all will be fine. The body began its long flight downward. The cool air hitting the entity's face as they fell towards the ground. They were almost to the ground now where they can spot the boy in a tree.

" Ok once we land I am going to go back into you.. and you will play as Kane. the test worked now we know there strength and weakness." The entity told Kane.

Kane was worried that Kids won't know the change and still try to attack him. Kane braised for impact. Then the body hit the ground hard... causing a ripple in the earth.

Mitoko came to a stop next to the elf and slid his blue sword out of its holder. The entity was taking forever to land. When it finally did, the earth rippled pushing out towards him and the elf. He took his sword and slashed at the ground. A blue blast of energy shot out of the blade towards the ripple. When the blast hit the ripple exploded safely. He slid into a fighting stance, not sure what was going to happen. Mitoko didn't know what state the entity was in. so he was going to wait to see what happened next

Tainar was still waking backwards when Mikoto came running up. He was more than happy to let the swordsman take the brunt of whatever came out of the sky. He was no coward but he didn't like fighting either. With each second that ticked by, the elf was becoming more and more worried about what kind of impact Kane's body was going to have on the surroundings and himself. When the fire ball did come back into view on it's descent Tainar held his breath. At least Mikoto looked ready for it. The last moment before Kane hit seemed to fast-forward and before the elf realized, a gust of concrete and dirt came flying away from the landing point. The ground shook as well in a shock wave that nearly knocked Tainar off his feet. The full force of the blast at least was diffused by some technique Mikoto employed.

As the air began to settle again Tainar moved toward where Kane had fallen. He wasn't sure who or what he'd find in the ditch but they would certainly be too injured to put up much of a fight. The consequences could be deadly for the elf though if he was wrong.

As soon as his body hit the Ground with so much force Kane thought he died. "What in the... are we alive at all... yes we are alive but who in control now?" Kane thought to himself. He tried to move his leg or and arm... and he could. The feelings all came back to him just like the entity said it would.

As they were plunging to there fall the entity turned back into his self and went into Kane again. The wounds can be felt now.. and they hurt. the fire did not burn him because the entity was in control.

But what does Kane do now?

The dust settled on the ground and what was left was a crater and it was in the center of the walk to the school. " Who gonna repair this damage?" Kane thought. He try's moving his arm and yells

" OUCH!!!!! THAT HURTS LIKE HELL!!!!"

Kane can barely move at all but he could if he wanted to. Now what will these kids do?

Mitoko walked up to the entity and knelt near it. He looked over the body then looked over at the elf.
"It seems he's not currently a threat, what do you want to do with him?"
Mitoko asked. He turned his back the the crater and looked around. There was still alot of fire around the area but it looked to be dieing out. He pointed his red blade at the fire and mumbled to himself. All the fire in the area began to start floating in the air. With a smile he spun the sword in his hands and the fire began to move to the sword. After thirty seconds the fire vanished and he turned his attention back to the crater in the ground. He walked up close to the body and looked the man over.
"He seems to be in a lot pain."

Kane's outburst was a sure sign that he was no longer possessed. Demonic powers generally never felt the pain of their human hosts and since that's what Tainar thought had happened then the flaunt of pain would signify the absence of the demonic spirit. Tainar nodded his head, looking down at Kane's dirt riddled body with a gaze of certainty. It was obvious he'd broken some bones, especially with the angle his one arm was at but he other wise seemed fine. There were no gashes or gouge marks where on a normal human there would be several, well that and he would be dead. The elf had the option to secure Kane's arm in packed earth to provide a temporary splint and then help him to the nearest medical facility, or simply walk away. The second choice seemed like his best bet. He hadn't forgotten Kane's questions before this outburst or his deceptive nature. Possessed or not, the man could still be tied into a web that was after Tainar or his query. "Be still for a moment." Slowly, the exposed dirt began to gather around Kane's cracked limb and gently wrapped around it to create a form-fitted sleeve. It would probably hurt a bit as the ground solidified but it would be better than using a simple cloth sling or nothing at all.

Tainar stood up straight and wiped the rain from his eyes. The elf decided to go half and half with his options. He bound the man's wound but he wouldn't stay to help him further. As far as he was concerned Kane was no longer his problem. "Mikoto, I trust you'll take care of him." Even if he was extremely cautious of Kane, he still cared about the preservation of life so he was going to entrust a complete stranger with the care of another complete stranger. Tainar didn't even give the swordsman another look before walking around the crater and starting to head off for deeper in the school. His adrenaline was wearing off and he had already been severely fatigued before the incident so his priority was finding shelter and a place to rest. That is if he even made it passed the new hole in the ground. He was just going around where Kane's head was pointing when he felt the first wave of dizziness. The minor nausea that accompanied the now swirling landscape made the elf stop in his tracks. Maybe he would accompany Kane to the infirmary after all...

" Who do these people care so much about me?" Kane thought as the earth went around his broken limbs. After the fall and aftermath of the colision with earth Kane was lucky to be alive. The entity protected him from the fall but he did not prevent him from breaking bones. " Damn this hurts like hell... Maybe I should just die here and that be it". Kane thought as his arm was getting better.

When he looked up the elf was walking away from him... but then stopped as if to finnish him off."Hey guys I am sorry for what has happen today. I am sorry if the entity hurt you at all. Please forgive me" Kane said to the 2 kids looking over him.

It was still raining but the fire was gone atleast. The entity was still inside Kane.. but was now regenerateing itself after the fireball he made of himself." Maybe this school will help him control his entity and even help him learn magic. and who knows what will happen in the future" Kane thought as he tried to figure out how to get out of this hole.

Caspian Levesque-Azoulay had to physically restrain himself from tapping his fingers against the frosty windowpane, but felt that without the outlet for his anxiety about the new school, he'd explode. The thought amused him momentarily as he considered how a redecoration of the drab bus's interior (via the splattering of human gore) might improve the ambiance, but soon his mind returned to the hulking mass on the horizon that he assumed was the campus of Ria High School, his soon-to-be new home. He looked down at his feet, folded as they were into his sides in position that wouldn't have been comfortable for anyone else. He knew he had to keep his past a secret, but old habits die hard, and what had become regular behaviours for him would make assimilation difficult. There was no one else on the bus, and Cas was impossibly comfortable in the cramped space, so he stayed where he was and watched the ancient school buildings loom closer, haggard giants reaching down from the foggy sky to greet him.

As the bus rolled to a halt in the grand circular driveway, Cas unwound himself and stood, carefully holding his ragged suitcase with his left hand; with the other, he handed the bus driver his ticket and swept down the stairs in a whirl of excitement. He approached the main gates apprehensively, placing each foot with a stealthy precision, but he didn't feel any urgent threat from the other students in the area, though he patted his right leg absentmindedly, as if something were concealed there under his dark jeans. Noticing a humanoid robot standing by a table covered in pamphlets, he skipped over and greeted it cheerily. He wasn't surprised when it opened its mouth and droned, "Welcome to Ria High. Please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID." He'd worked with androids before in the circus; he noted the name Lilith on the android's identification plate on her metal chest. Cas smiled and withdrew the slightly wrinkled letter from one of the back pockets of his jeans, unfolded it, and handed it over carefully. Lilith peered at it quickly and looked up to scan his face with her artificial eyes, and seconds later she pressed an ID card into his palm. "Caspian Levesque-Azoulay?" she asked, though she knew the answer before he nodded.

"Thank you very much, Lilith," he grinned, lifting the map of the school grounds she offered from her outstretched hand. Cas looked over the table of pamphlets and grabbed one or two that he stuffed into his pockets, then searched the map for the dorms, where he'd probably go to drop off his things so he could have more freedom to explore the campus. He tottered off in what he hoped was the right direction.

Mitoko sat next to the man on the ground and looked over at the elf. "I can take care of him no problem" He said with a smile. "I just need you to detatch the earth from him, it will make it easier to move him." He shifted his gaze to the man next to him who was busy apologizing to them.

"I can't speak for the elf, but I have no hard feelings," He smiled brightly at the man. "Just try no to let it happen again, we may not be there next time." He stood and took the blue sword from his back and pointed it at the man on the ground.

"Don't worry, I'm not attacking. I'm simply gonna make a way to transport you easily. We need to get you to the infirmary." He spoke softly. "The names Mitoko, nice to meet you."

[[I meant to pm you about the broken arm >_< sorry Kane that I assumed that was why the arm hurt!]]

Tainar glanced down at Kane, unintentionally giving him a rather evil/angry look. He wasn't very cross at all but in pain and he had to squint to focus on anything. Fighting off another dizzying wave, he looked away and covered his eyes to stop the ground from swirling. "He's completely disconnected from the ground. It's just a free-standing brace so it shouldn't make him that heavy." The elf dragging his rain-slicked gauntlet down his cheek and cracked his eyes back open. Between the water falling in his face and the dots appearing in his vision he couldn't see much other than shadows and washed-out colors. His hearing was beginning to fade as well and if he hadn't been an elf he may have missed Kane's apology all together. Tainar shook his head to say to the man that everything was fine but the rough movement just seemed to slam his brain about his skull. "No harm done. I'll come... find you again s-" Before finishing his sentence the next gust of wind toppled the unconscious elf forward.

Before the elf's fair face slammed into the broken concrete one of the droids came racing forward. They were programmed to recognize the vital signals of humanoid creatures and when Tainar blacked-out it reacted immediately. The droid caught the elf effortlessly and in a quick flip of his arms had the charge situated bridal-style. "Recuperation needed. Destination : Infirmary." With that proclamation, the droid whirred away.

She sighed and continued to walk around the campus grounds wondering what the story behind all these people was. Not like she really cared, but she was curious as to how she was being thrown into a building with a bunch of hyper-active nerds and wannabe loner tough guys. Nothing out of the ordinary really. She just wasn't sure how this place was going to be different from any of the other schools she attended in the past. You definitely had the pro's such as being allowed to carry a weapon with you and things along those lines but the atmosphere and the attitude of the people seemed pretty much the same. She sighed once more and tossed her bags over her right shoulder and proceeded to walk around looking for a spot to sit down and take in more of her surroundings.

She found a nice tree to sit under and began to unpack her stuff. Her bag sat against the tree next to her while some of her belongings lay on the ground to her side. The others were still in her bag, but they were things she wasn't just going to go and throw all over the campus for everyone. There were people most everywhere talking or trying to find their way around and she still hadn't met anyone. Kinda strange though being someone so pretty and not a single soul had yet to stop and talk to her. At least that was a plus.

Kane tried to get up but was unable to because of his tiredness." All my energy is gone from me" He though as he lay there looking up at the two kids. But he did not expect for the elf to fall all of a sudden. Kane almost felt bad that the elf did fall but was saved by a droid. " He is one lucky elf to be alive still after all of this" Kane thought to himself.

" The elf is still alive? after all he went though he is still alive. Very well ill have he killed soon enough" a voice said that can be no other then the entity. Kane stopped to make sure it was the entity and not anyone else.

" What do you want now? we are not in danger so there is no need for you to come out" Kane said to the entity outloud.

" Relax kid I am not even bothering comeing out. The most important thing is that we have what we wanted. Both of those kids are strong in magic and is intuned with the earth" the entity said to Kane in his mind.

" Thats a good thing. We must tract the elf and see that he lives for another year or so" Kane responded outloud.

The entity never responded to that answer. Kane knew that the other boy was listening in and will not help him now. Or maybe he will help Kane get out and to the Infirmary.Kane decided he sould give it a try and see if the boy will help.

"hey Mitoko can you help me out of here? and then help me to the Infirmary please?" Kane asked.

Why must life be such a mystery? the world may never know

She laid her head back and looked up to see the sun shining through the leaves of the trees and some birds flying overhead. She looked back down and frowned. Hmmm I wonder what everyone is doing...? Or even where all the other students are... It seemed like there were so many people on campus yet, at the same time, there was no one. maybe it was just the new students or the ones who were trying to be accepted that were here. Then again, maybe not. She stood up and stretched her arms behind her back, then up in the air, trying to show off a bit. She then leaned down and tightened up her boots and sat back down looking towards the sky.
