KidElliot grit his teeth, waiting for Lewis to make some sort of acknowledgement, but instead he looked away at the other paper. "Just allow it until we've officially put them under our protection. Make it a temporary crowning. A tribe has asked for our help we cannot just turn them away, Prime Minister." Yashweh seemed to have the same shudder as Oliver. "I very much dislike ghosts." but upon hearing familiars he smiled. "I should be recieving a familiar soon! Our tribes are very low on them so there is a waiting line, in a sense. The deserts aren't really friendly towards animals, and the ones that do live there are rather violent." He looked over at the twin babes with a smile. "That's really interesting. I've never seen twins before. I wonder if it's a land thing?" Different areas produced more or less children. "Enough chatter. Eat." Saegthin placed a plate on the floor where Yashweh was sitting next to Oliver. "And some for you." and placed another in front of Oliver, making sure they both had the right silverware. "That should be as close to Retian food as they can get. We should open trade with them like we've done with Falia. I could prepare so many meals. And trades with pathera are slow. I get my fruit once or twice a season." Yashweh looked at the dish which reminded him of home, and it almost tasted the same. They had a different meat than rabbit or snake. But the man worked hard to make it taste like home, and the boy was thankful.

Face. Desk. That's what Lewis wanted to do right about now. He stood up and leaned forward to 'look' at the paper. [i["Announce you will be taking the throne, you idiot!" he whispered fiercely, knowing only his nephew would hear. Oliver looked at the food, "Sir, I ate-" kind of, but he knew he wasn't going to be getting away, so he ate. "there are a lot of familiars in Falia, maybe you could go there and meet one." he took a bite and chewed slowly, it was good, really good. he took another bite and looked at the chef. he chose to speak in Yashweh's language so he didn't feel left out, "will you teach me how to make this too, Chef?"Leo stood, "i'm going to go put these two down, they are getting heavy. Oliver, keep Yashweh company? he needs someone to help his translate." he waited for Oliver to nod before smiling at the Chef, "thank you again for taking your free time for this. excuse me." he bowed slightly before heading out, Tsume following after him. Tsume decided to find Kashi, wondering where the girls had drug him off to.

KidElliot was about to argue towards his Uncle that was was well suited for the throne but paused, re-thinking the words. Oh, oh! His Uncle wasn't scolding him at all, not saying he wasn't fit to be king. It was quite the opposite. "I have my father's mind, perhaps I am unprepared for this." he murmured in return. He took the papers back, looking at them as the nerves once again settled on his face. How did he announce it? His father had done it via killing his mother, Elliot's mother had done it via marriage and announcing it strongly, how did he do it? He turned to look at the silent party members, silently walking over and placing the papers down. "It will be a pleasure working with you, gentlemen. I hope I can fill my father's role as king." because right now he felt he was far too small for them. "Are there? I thought we had to find familiars from our areas? It keeps us more in tune with the land and our elders?" He thought on this, continuing to eat. Saegthin looked at Oliver and nodded before looking at Leo. "Enjoy your day, Prince. I enjoy cooking for the family." he watched the other leave before looking back down at the two. "I would be more than happy to teach you. What about you? Would you like to cook?"My mother cooks." the Latian boy said, finishing his meal. "She cooks with servants."[/b[

FINALLY! They were getting somewhere! Even if it was in tiny little baby steps, Lewis would take it. His adorable little Elliot was so shy, he was having a hard time, but that's where Lewis stepped in. he moved to the other side of his desk and knelt before Elliot, lifting the hand with the royal ring up and touching his forehead to it, "Hail, King Elliot." there were whispers through the room before cloth rustle and one by one the nobles knelt and repeated his words. Lewis stood and grinned, "i'm so proud of you, Ellie." but he whispered, not wanting that to be heard. "very well, we will support this. should Kasp try anything, we will drag them from the sky by their feathers!" there was a roar of approval and Lewis patted Elliot's shoulder, "go, rest. i will handle everything else. oh, you might want to inform the boy of your ranking. and the ceremony for your crowning will be tomorrow. make sure Leo knows so he can look extra pretty." Oliver wasn't sure what that meant. did she cook with the servants because she liked to or because women were nothing more than servants there? "Do only women cook? he asked softly, wondering if Yasweh's learning he was a cook would make the boy look down on him. he was already just a servant, was there something lower in the other's mind?

KidElliot was going to continue walking, hoping to get out before anyone could say something but Lewis stopped him. The prince's hand was lifted, quartz center touching the pinkette's forehead. He stared before looking where his ears twitched, the other nobles kneeling as well. "Thank you, Uncle." He hadn't heard the man's whispered words, too in shock at everything else, but he was happy his Uncle would allow this transition. "Their wings would make a nice trophy, but we are a humane country. And I will inform him." and bowed his head. "And I'll tell Leo." and walked out with a smile. "Yes. All women cook. Some take political roles but even they have time to join in tribal cooking. Men hunt and skin the animals and separate the meat. We also clean our huts and scout ahead to find places to travel with the animals before setting up the huts again so the women have a place to rest. We travel with the food." His tribe were nomads, it seemed. "Sometimes young children help cook. I helped cook and I still do. I'm the second son so I'm not as involved with politics as my brother."

The babies were tucked into bed and Leo sat in his chair, rocking back and forth slowly, playing with the gem he'd been given by the elder. he hadn't told Elliot about the visit yet and with everything going on, he wondered when might be a good time. Elliot had a lot on his plate right now, would he even want to hear? Oliver nodded understanding better now as he finished the food Chef had given him. "is that good? do you want to be in politics?" he asked as he took his dishes to the sink and washed them.

Kid"Not really. It seems like a lot of work and it gets really confusing. I like learning about the elders and the spirits. I might become a shaman. Healing with the power of hte elders looks much more fun than politics." Yashweh stood, following Oliver but did nothing, unsure if he should help or not. Saegthin began working on putting away what he'd used, placing the dirty things next to the sink. "I'll clean these myself, Oliver."Elliot walked in to the kitchen, seeing the three and looked at Yashweh. "I've signed the papers, I will be traveling with you back to your home, if possible, to keep the Kaspians away from yours lands." and looked at Saegthin. "You'll be good to go. The king would like to travel with you."Won't I need a translator?"Saegthin looked back at the princ--king. "He'll need a translator." Elliot stared, knowing he couldn't steal the chef so the silver eyes traveled over Oliver. "Oliver, me and you will discuss, we'll go over the details tomorrow. Carry on." and exited, quickly moving down the hall to the bedroom. Well it was really a multi-purpose room once he thought about it. Part bedroom, part office, part nursery. "Leo?" he asked softly, unsure the man was asleep as he peeked in. He smiled and entered, gently closing the door behind him and kissing the Falian's head.

Oliver looked down, "I can wash them, sir." but Elliot returned and Oliver could only stare in wonder at what the man was saying. "we will what?" he gasped, but the prince was already leaving. "Chef, I-I'm just a slave. How can i do something as important as be a translator for him?"Leo's hands closed around the jewel instinctively when Elliot came into the room. he smiled at the kiss to his head and watched his husband, looking for any signs of stress and finding more than a few. "so, what has been decided?"

KidThe man chuckled and gave a shrug. "In order to be a translator you need to speak the language. You're much better than me at understanding him.""I think yours is a type of slang." Yashweh said towards the man. "His is a little bit better. Oh! I'm Yashweh!"Elliot rested his forehead against the other's, giving a sigh. "My coronation is tomorrow. I've accepted the crown. Be prepared to wear something big and frilly I suppose, fancy? Royal. Be prepared to wear something royal."

Oliver quickly bowed, "I am Oliver. pleasure to meet you, Mr. Yashweh." he still wasn't sure about this, but if it was an order, he couldn't refuse. "I was told to stay with you, so, um, you will need a place to sleep and clothing..." he looked to the Chef for help. did he offer the other his bed? no, he was an important guest, so should Oliver prepare a room? he didn't know! Leo felt sorry for his husband, but this is what had to happen to help those people. "i shall find something suitable...Elliot?" he opened his hands and showed his husband the jewel, "do you think it would be possible to have this fitted to a chain before then? it was given to me by the elder and i would like to wear it for your coronation."

KidYashweh bowed back smiling at Oliver. "But what's your name?"Saegthin looked at the boy, thinking a moment. The girls would probably pounce on Yashweh. "Take him to your room, Oliver. It's not a cultural thing, but you're the only person that understands him. I don't want him waking up and the princesses start harassing him despite the fact he can't speak Nalaeniran." The silver eyes opened to look at the cyan ones, looking down as the gem was presented. He stared at it, confused before his eyes widned. "The elder gave this to you?" He asked, gently taking it to look at it. "We call these Heaven Stones, they look like the sky at night." And nodded. "The family uses a specific blacksmith in the towel, we can have them create a chain to hold this without ruining the stone, at least not too much." and stopped, thinking quickly, "Uncle never said when my coronation was. I pray it's not first thing in the morning." But no doubt it would be in the morning, worst case scenario it would be in the afternoon but it could not be put off.

Oliver nodded, he would sleep on the floor Yashweh would sleep in the bed. he'd have to hide his teddy bear, he didn't want the visitor to see it and decide he wanted it. Oliver would have no choice but to give it to him. "U-um, I am Oliver." he'd already told Yashweh his name, but the other must not have been listening. he finished the dishes and washed off his hands, drying them quickly, "where should i find warm clothing for him? i've dirtied the set i had..."Leo nodded, "there is a lot to arrange, announcements to be made and the like, i would be surprised if it was as soon as tomorrow afternoon. it will probably be in the evening so that nobles can come for it as well." he stood, "it's late, but do you think that we can go to the blacksmith?"

Kid"I think what he needs is a bath.""I'm used to not bathing for a few weeks. We do travel the desert.""Oliver, take him to the baths, I'll find one of the maids and see if she has clothes." No doubt Justin was tired of sharing his clothes with, well, everyone. "That is true, tomorrow afternoon is far too soon. The evening will be the best time convenience. We can deliver this tomorrow morning and have it done hopefully by late afternoon." and began pacing, the white lights, which hadn't flickered for a while, suddenly colored themselves nervous and worried. "We could always wake the blacksmith, I don't know how he'll appreciate that. Perhaps early morning will be best. What will I wear? Months are spent preparing clothes, I have one day if even." "We lost Martha!" Kashi whined outside. Emily and Annabelle had been put to bed but Martha was missing, and she had been since earlier in the day. The last the two triplts saw of her was with the Prime Minister, and he hadn' seen her since then either. "We've checked the grounds and the castle! Perhaps we should do it twice over?" the hare asked, worried, ears alert and twitching.

Oliver bowed , "yes sir. this way, Mr. Yashweh." he got off the stool they used for washing dishes and hurried away wondering if Justin would have to lend out his clothing yet again. He planned to wash the set of warm clothing he'd warm earlier as soon as their guest was asleep and give them to him in the morning. he needed them more that Oliver did. he opened the door to the servant's bath and hurried to get everything ready. he tried to not remember his own bath with princess martha earlier, a small shiver going up his spine anyways. he got a washcloth and soap and held them out to Yashweh, "do you require help?"Leo smiled, "would you like me to sew you something, my love? or i could touch up one of your more formal outfits and make it more suited to the occasion. i wouldn't mind, and i could finish in time, i am sure." he was happy to hear they would get the necklace done in the morning, he felt like he should have the elder's present there for the coronation. it only seemed proper. Tsume heard Kashi as he walked up and put an arm around his lover's shoulder, "you really should learn to use your nose, love." he took a deep breath, but couldn't smell as much as he would be able to in his wolf form. he shifted over and sniffed around a bit before catching her scent, "this way." he head for the forest, following the trail left by the wandering girl.

Yashweh"Okay! Bye sir!" and waved goodbye to the chef who quickly began washing his own dishes. The blue eyes looked back at Oliver curiously, walking beside him. He looked like he'd been left in the desert for spirits to attack, Oliver. They entered the bathroom and the boy looked around curiously before hearing water. "What!?" he ran over quickly to look at the faucet. "What sort of magic is this?! Where is it coming from?" and looked around the tub, finding a tube which went underground. "How are you doing that?"
"No I couldn't have you sew or hem anything we still need to find you something to wear as well." he murmured, pacing up and down. "I'll just pull something out. You'd be surprised how large my wardrobe is I only wear again what I like." hopefully he could find something. and Leo. What would Leo wear?
"I would but I can't shift like you and the prince. I need to be under emotional stress in order to do that." and huffed. Purebred or not he couldn't do it if he wasn't trained. Kashi followed Tsume into the forest, the snow covered branches and the waning moon providing little light. Martha had surprisingly nestled herself in a hole in the ground beneath tree roots, her drawing pad underneath her body, she was staring at a nest in the trees, carefully watching them.
