shandrel gah i am so jealous! our ringing in teh new year, is going home.... and staying there..... sad ANNNDDD i did my three hour gestational diabetes test this morning, and it made me SOO damn sick >.< again.... this is gonna suck, cause my luck is NEVER good, so i bet i have the bloody thing....... i just hope i don;t need to give myself insulin shots every days *sighs* Do you have a family history of diabetes? Or have you been eating a lot of sweets? Sometimes just abusing your pancreas while pregnant can make it LOOK like GD, but after the pregnancy is over, you and the baby will be fine. I had to cut back on things like ice cream (which was one of the few things that didn't cause morning sickness) while I was pregnant, because my family has a history of GD. So instead I ate LOTS of breads and pastas. I've discovered that complex carbs actually stabilize my blood sugar better than anything. ^_^

I hoped they'd have diagnosed me with something when I got pregnant the first time. I gained 150lbs on a "good girl" diet! I didn't even weigh 150 to start with. crying C'est la vie, you know?
At least if they diagnose you, they should be able to do something about it. If they care to. Some medical facilities really seem to be about the money nowadays, instead of actually helping people. Our local emergency room is affectionately called the "chop shop" by people who've gone there. They'll bandage you up and send you home without medication if it's anything short of life threatening. (Not a good policy imo.)

I know that Dave normally does, and he doesn't ask me what I want when he can do something for the good of the bank account with less effort than he normally puts forward. He appreciates time-and-a-half, and he loves double-time. LOL

Because if it's comming from me it will not be a simple kick...

Oh, but Scarlet...
Swift kicks in the a**, if strategically well placed, can go a long way in disabling a person most utterly, using a proportionately minuscule amount of energy on the part of the administrator. LOL
My father, a military man taught me that. wink

... and if those IOU's are not actually real cards with your husband's buddies' life, medical, and credit history on them, then he might as well be playing the lottery. Verbal agreements aren't what they used to be, and for that matter, neither are written contracts. The only sure thing is blackmail, but I think they frown on that in the military now, don't they?

Pah! There is so much s**t like that, that I hear about... A Marine can't sew or charge another Marine so they get away with all sorts of s**t now... And no, a verbal IOU doesn't mean much to anyone now-a-days, but this guys is alright. He's getting out soon so my husband better cash that IOU soon.
