I hissed, looking at Lavenderrain. I almost growled a warning to her, but caught sight of a calico cat. My ears instantly flattened. I growled.] "Lavenderstar- er, I mean rain, there's an intruder!" I whispered, taking my paws off of the tom.
[I strutted toward the she-cat, but soon realized that Vanillapaw was sitting there too. I snarled.] "Vanillapaw, get her!" I yowled. [Had she been......idly chatting with the SeaClan cat?! The mere thought of it infuriated me.]

They didn't even notice him looming over them. He shook his head and padded outside the nursey. He noticed Eaglesoar clawing Hauntedheart, but Eaglesoar quickly fell into unconciousness. Shadow let out a sly grin. Shadow stalked over to Cinderwing, Hauntedheart, and the unconcious Eaglesoar.] He was hitting his own clanmate...what fun! [Shadow enjoyed battles, but really liked clanmates fighting each other. He looked over at Eaglesoar, he was in bad shape.] Not fit for Nightclan, the weak won't survive... [My head snapped up as I heard Cinderwing's cry of an intruder. Turning around, i bounded over to Lightsound, Cinderwing, Vanillapaw and Marcy, my dark amber eyes narrowed in anger]
"Vanillapaw! For all you knew, Lightsound could be a spy, or anything! And you just waltzed over here and started a grand ol' chat! What were you thinking?!
[I looked over at Cinderwing, smiling slightly]
"Good job, Cinderwing. At least some cats have sense here in this Clan"
[Turning to Lightsound, I spat furiously]
"SeaClan cats, always have their heads in the water. What do you think you're doing here?!"

I lowered myself until I was eye to eye with the kit. My eyes glinted with anger as I spoke. "Don't you dare talk to Foxfur like that, you pipsqueak brat. You're lucky to even be here," he growled, low enough so only she heard. I straightened up, a warning in my eyes. "Go to the nursery. Now. I meowed with a look that dared her to argue. I frowned inwardly, but my eyebrows furrowed. If she wished to stay a moment longer, she had to get her attitude straight.
My eyes laid on Lightsound for a moment longer, a snarl flickering across my muzzle. "No matter who your father was, you don't belong here," I meowed, my eyes hollow. "Either way, how are we supposed to believe you? You could have set this up with SeaClan, and this runt to attack us," I growled, but kept my posture stiff, and not authoritative. I didn't want to steal Foxfur's spotlight. He was deputy after all.

"Half-Clan, eh? I have nothing against those. But you intruded. You can't just walk in here. I'm surprised you weren't attacked, to be honest. You could've waited at the border. Honestly, did you think at all?"
[I turned my head and looked down at Marcy, lowering my dark brown head until I was level with her]
"Marcy, if you're really interested in joining NightClan, seeing how you're not even my Clanmate, you should probably watch how you talk to the Deputy. I am not a jerk, I am just defending my clan from threats. And as harmless as you think your sister may be, any warrior from another Clan is usually considered a minor threat"

[I watched Marcy go, my eyes narrowed. Turning back to Lightsound, I sat down, curling my bushy tail around my paws and raising my chin defiantly]
"We only take it out on those who deserve it. Your sister was very disrespectful, and chances are, she will be punished. Though not severely. Confined to the nursery, I expect"
[I sighed, all of this wearing me out. Unexpectedly, I laughed at the she-cat]
"Our trust? I do hope you reliaze, if you are even allowed to join, you'll have to gain everyone's trust? Darkshadow came from your Clan, and started a war. Some cats forgave him" I grew silent for a moment, remembering Shatteredfang, ""But most of us don't trust him. I, for one, do not trust him fully. It's the truth. And I'm going to have trouble trusting you"

"How do we know you won't just abandon NightClan, too? And run off and tell all of our secrets? This is not for me to decide. Lavenderrain will decide. Until then, remain here. Do not move. Who knows what will happen"
[I stood up, muscles rippling under my dark coat, and looked down at the two warriors]
"Cinderwing, would you mind staying here for a moment?"

As I watched Foxfur pad away in search of Lavenderrain, I turned back to Lightsound. "Don't you go thinking that you'll fool me for even a secind!" I growled. I began circling the she-cat, examining her closely. Lean legs, long fur that would imminently become entangled in brambles, pale ginger, white, and gray colored coat, which was a poor choice for hunting at night; all in all, she didn't belong here. She would stick out like a wrenched claw!
I grinned, letting my front teeth show a little. I smiled slightly. It reminded me of Shatteredfang, somewhat. I continued. No siree, you won't get past me. I am much more faster and leaner and aerodynamic than the likes of you, with your awkwardly long fur, and light colors." I snorted. "You wouldn't last a day living in NightClan." I growled, my eyes mere slits. My whiskers twitched a little, daring her to oppose.

Suddenly it had gotten warmer! And brighter too! With a frown I dismissed it. No need worrying about things that weren't there. That was only for the paranoids. With a flick and brush of my sticky tail under Envykit's nose, I shot with super fast speed toward a humungous pile of leaves.] "C'mon!" [I called out to Envykit.] "There's gotta be something like that in here!" [I swiftly plunged my paws into the mountain, and started flaying out leaves at random, the reds, yellows, and oranges swirling around me. It was wonderful! Almost ALL of them were bigger than me! I bunched up my super muscular legs and leapt into the air, scrabbling for my goal, a bright red leaf with streaks of orange. Missed. Drat. I tried again, a look of determination setting into my muzzle.]
