As for the answer to your question, I watch all sorts of anime ranging from the currently airing season, to stuff from the 80s.
At the moment I'm really into Gintama. Whenever I'm feeling like crap, I just pick out a couple of episodes and watch them. Gintama makes me laugh, laugh and laugh, and cry while I'm laughing.
