Moé kneeled next to him.
"M-Mr. Lemming?! Are you alright?"

After a few moments, he stood back up. "Terribly sorry." Caleb said before walking away, taking the bottle of sherry and the wine glass and going back down to the study.

Moé, wanting to keep her promise to Mr. Lemming, wordlessly walked back upstairs, silently working on yet another clock.

Caleb came back up to the first floor. Going into the dark parlor, he fell into a leather chair. Tiring fast, he silently, fell asleep.

Moé crept to where Caleb was, and, at peace, she broke her promise, and laid her head on Caleb's lap as she sat on the floor.

Caleb twisted and turned as he slept in the chair. He finally and suddenly stopped after a good 5 minutes of doing such. A light noise came from inside the mask, snoring.

Moé took a pillow and blanket, and once again tried to make him comfortable.
Hesitating somewhat, she sat on Caleb's lap, using the extra folds of the blanket, and lied down, sleeping.

Caleb did not noticed anything at all that she was sleeping on him. His body grew limp and tired, his head slid to the left.

Moé gave a light snore, immensely happy and comfortable.
'Caleb...', she thought.

Caleb turned his head and repositioned his hands, to his surprise, he was unable to move them. Trying again and after, awoke. And seeing his student sleeping on him, he was startled.

Moé was sleeping very quietly, and in her sleep, she was smiling.

Caleb sighed, and fell back asleep, too tired to care.

Moé smiled to herself in subconsious reation to the sound, and she rested her hand on his lower stomach.
