Oh, I thought that would work, sorry.

Um, maybe there's a problem in the url for the pictures. It could be that there are those extra urls in the one that you copied and pasted in there, and that the picture won't show up without them.

Hey everybody! I haven't been on in a while, I'm so glad that it's friday tomorrow. I get to go to the beach with my cousins it's going to be fun.

I went to the dentist today and he put a cap on and let me say, I NEVER want to repeat that experience again.

Hey, an... older Ravenclaw! Nice to meet you! I'm only a first year, but I'm working hard in my own way... even joined the dueling club! Don't be a stranger!

I haven't seen our prefects around at all. Does this mean we're allowed to cause trouble? I do recall legend of a certain pair of red-headed twins who would take it as a downright invitation. They were Gryffindors, though. lol

Para: Aww, I'm sorry that happened. I've never had a cap, crown, root canal...anything like that.

Meatball: Orna, one of our Prefects, is on sabbatical, which is like a vacation or something. She won't be posting. And Turayza, the other Prefect, does post, but I'm not sure where she is at the moment.

Haha no, we don't get to cause trouble! We're the well behaved House, remember? smile

Yeah, I'm usually too busy with a book (or two... or three o.o) to cause trouble. That, and working on things.

Has anybody else been watching the painstakingly slow progress of my Diagon Alley Thread's formation?

Kineka: Probably, but thanks for trying to help me.
Meatball: I think that your Diagon Alley thread is amazing. It's a super cool idea.

Yeah. I just got those new apps for the iTouch that have classic books on them. I can finally read Dracula! I know, it's pathetic...but I could never find the actual book. I got it for free after buying the program for $0.99.

I've been keeping an eye on it. It's awesome!

Head's up, I just got sorted into Hufflepuff in The Sorting Hat Guild. This is confusing...I'm getting too many different answers for which House I belong in...
PostPosted: Fri Jul 10, 2009 12:34 pm

Kineka: Where can you go to get sorted to see what house you get in? Because I'm really curious to see if I will always get Ravenclaw, or if I'd get something like Hufflepuff.

Hello all. I just found out I was sorted into Ravenclaw c: How is everyone?
PostPosted: Fri Jul 10, 2009 3:42 pm

Nariko: Join The Sorting Hat Guild. The link is under my guilds on my profile if you want to. But it's not really accurate, I don't think. You have people vote on what house they would put you in. For me, they focused on WHAT I answered to the questions, not HOW I answered them, which is what, I think, landed me in Hufflepuff. But I took a bunch of other quizzes, and that one on Google, and they all said Ravenclaw, a couple said Hufflepuff. So, I don't know, I joined a couple other sorting guilds, but none of them have answered back yet. Maybe I'll get a few more opinions.

Hello Blanc! Welcome to Ravenclaw! Wow, is it just me, or have we been getting a lot of new first years lately? It's amazing!

Hmm, I wouldn't know but I am glad that the Ravenclaw house is growing!

Nariko and Kineka: Thanks for the positive feedback ^_^ Hearing that gives me the motivation to keep tweaking it, though it can get tedious.

Kineka: A note about Dracula, keep in mind that it was written over a century ago and was not intended for our modern 'information society/ADD' audience. The beginning of the book is slow and you're wondering why Jonathan Harker is describing in great detail the foods he eats as he makes his way towards the Carpathians.

However there is a very slow sense of building dread, and downright caged-animal panic when it is too late, so give it a chance, but it's always a little more of a challenge to read something not blatantly targeting us as its audience.

Blanc: Hi! Welcome to the Ravenclaw common room smile The Prefects are mysteriously not here, so you'll have to accept a welcome from a fellow first year. By the way, it's tradition to answer the question(s) on the first post of this thread when you're new. We don't have just a password to remember, but a question to answer.

Blanc: I think, including you, we've had about 5 new first years within a couple weeks. That's awesome, seeing as only a couple of us others actually post.

Meatball: You're welcome!

Yeah, I know it's really old and isn't like anything I would've read today...but at least it's not in Shakespearean English or anything. Romeo and Juliet took my English class weeks to finish because our teacher had to stop every 5 seconds to explain something that they said. Frankenstein's kind of like that, I noticed. But I've heard that it's really creepy, and I like stories like that, so I'll read it. Maybe once I actually buy it, because now I only have it as a PDF file on my computer from a free eBooks site. It hurts my eyes to read that much from a computer.

Meatball: Thank you and I see. Poor mistake on my part of not reading the first page in its entirety. I'll be sure to answer them.
Kineka: Really? That's good! Hopefully they'll become active members and I'll stay an active member.

Where are your greatest strengths?
My greatest strengths would have to be my artistic ability, my sense of humor, and my wisdom. I work hard as an artist to improve myself at hopes of working as a visual development artist in Walt Disney Animation Studios. I use my sense of humor most often to deal with situations that may be difficult for me or others. Little difficulties though, I'd rather not use my sense of humor for a tragedy. Finally, I value my wisdom because it is what truly teaches me. Little things I've learned over time have leaded me to become wiser than I was years ago.

What makes you happy in your life and why?
In my life, life is what makes me happy. Just the thought of every day is brand new, a clean slate, is wonderful. Noticing something different each day and learning something new makes me look forward to the next day over and over again. My friends tend to find it odd that I love life so much and value it, but I am not a religious person. In truth, I was but I personally decided against it after seeing that it both brings people together, but tears them apart at the same time.

Welcome La Vie en Blanc, I love Disney animation! I hope you're dream comes true.

So has anyone watched the abc Family harry potter weekend?

I watched david letterman interview Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe. Daniel is pretty funny, Emma is funny sarcastic.
