Amnity stayed quiet for a bit, playing with the buttons on his coat. She could hear his heart beat when she laid her head on his chest. Thump thump...Thump thump...Thump thump...Thump thump.
Then a thought came to her mind. "Before, a long time ago, I think it was when we first met. I was reading the bible and talking to you when Circe interrupted us and said she needed to talk to me. I saw that you were thinking something. ((and you said that you weren't going to say what it was.)) What were you thinking?" she asked softly, not too loud so it won't interrupt the moment.

Amnity continued to play with the buttons on his coat. "Do you sometimes regret being a hunter? Like...Do you sometimes want to be part of a pack with an alpha male?" it maybe a bit personal, but she would never stop loving him if his answer was Yes.

Mephlius closed his eyes and leaned back, thinking. He imagined the rush... running around with the pack, slicing down trees in a single blow. He began to smile at the thought... and saw himself weightlifting with decrepit buildings. He saw people like Wolf and J.T. Yeah... Then he saw the dead little girl from a few minutes ago, and his eyes shot open. "No, never. Being a hunter is probably the greatest thing that ever happened to me... err..." He looked at Amnity. "Being a hunter is the second greatest thing that ever happened to me."

Amnity looked into his eyes, then quickly realized he was talking about her. "Oh!...I...Um.." in embarrassment she buried her face in his shirt again to hide her blush. "....That line was cheep and over used...But it still made me love you more for some reason..." she muttered.

Mephlius kept his arm over her shoulder, and continued holding her close. He couldn't think of anything to say, so he just kept quiet.

"....Do you wish someone would interrupt us now? You seem a bit quiet." Amnity chuckled, noting his silence. She closed her eyes as she listened to his rhythmic heartbeat.

Amnity smiled, her eyes still closed. "Well, when you find a good conversation starter let me know. Or if you want it to keep this moment quiet and calm, I'll go either way." she said softly. The hunter almost fell asleep, but caught herself. It would be rude to sleep. so she just looked at the lake, the water glistening beautifully to the moonlight.

Jacob woke up, and looked around. "Wow...that's the first time I've fallen asleep standing up in a while..." he laughed. He left off towards the Junk yard.

Amnity was about to reply, suddenly her lungs began to sting like hell. She pulled away quickly and began coughing uncontrollably. "I think....I should go..."
