You kept pushing. A person can only stand by in an idle stance for so long before they push back. And when I push back, I make sure I am heard. I do not show mercy or remorse. Part of who I am, I have never felt guilt for my actions.
The first time you let your joke out, sure it was funny. But again, and again and again it came, each time growing less and less funny, like listening to the same song on repeat. Eventually, it was no longer a joke, and I pushed back.
Is that how you play, push someone far enough so that they fight back, then back down like a scolded dog with its tail between its legs?
You want to call this quits, then fine, I will play your game, and we will stop here. But it all stops, as with my previous statement. No more comminucation, period.
