Tomo gripped the barstool and wagged his tail, nodding. "That's just what I came down for, actually!" He pipped in an overly cheerful mood. He paused to think for a few moments, "So, do I really look high?" He asked, suddenly remembering that he had a reputation.

"In the crudest definition?" Ellie asked, as she leaned forward and stared at one of his eyes. Not bloodshot, nah, it was okay. "Nope." She headed behind the bar, putting a kettle on. "You're fine, just a little mussed."

Tomo looked down at himself and nodded, "Okay. Thanks, El." He said, some of the effects wearing off as the smell faded. He would have to go at his bedroom with a gas mask and a vacuum if he ever wanted to wake up sane again.

"Anytime, Onii-san." she said over the bar, as she glanced to the stairs as well. She was still worried about Baizou, but, she was also wondering where her brother in law of sorts had gotten this cat n**. "Why'd you suddenly pick up the habit, Tomo?"

"Well, luckily, the stuff's not addictive." Tomo replied, eyes relaxing. He seemed to notice how awful he looked and unbuttoned his shirt the rest of the way. "But Cass gave it to me for Father's Day." He said, beginning to rebutton correctly. "So, when're you gonna have to treat Bai to a Father's Day catnip?" he teased, wiggling one eyebrow.

Ellie actually let out a giggle-snort, and shook her head. "But he's not a father... And what was Cass thinking? That's silly.." Ellie commented, as she took the whistling pot off of the stove. She poured the two mugs, and put a tea bag in each. Extending it to sit on the bar beside Tomo, she let hers remain on teh counter.

"That's not what I meeeant." The blonde sang as he poked her belly. He picked up his mug of tea. "Not trying to rush you guys, just curiously wondering if you two were ready for a baby, yet?"

"I don't know how I'd take to being pregnant.. but.. I am not sure if Bai is ready. Or me.." she said, biting her lip. It'd been hard to even cuddle with Bai since she'd been taken advantage of. She sighed, with a shrug. "How are you and Cass getting along, anyways? She seemed pretty upset yesterday. I don't think I was the only one to notice."

"Oh, that..." Tomo murmured, eyes starting to focus again. "We had a bit of a misunderstanding that was no one's fault." He said, thinking frantically to change the subject. "Anyway... I was thinking of planning a camping trip with her and Rhi... Before the baby was born."

"Tomo, she really does love you.. I was worried." Ellie said, knowing that he' dtried to change the subject. She shrugged, and continued on. If he didn't want to talk about it, it was only fair to continue. "Oh, that ought to be nice.. Maybe a backyard sort of thing? Or, like, actually hiking off somewhere?" she asked, smiling weakly.

Tomo shrugged, "I've done the back yard thing before and, while that's fun, I think it would be fun to go away for a few days." He said, leaning back against the bar. "Once the Redheaded Wonder gets back, I'll pack up and put the bar in his command."
