Nyl opened one eye and stared lazily at the ceiling. She could hear people speaking, but they had no reason to know she was awake yet.

He nodded and waddled into the kitchen, not yet able to move his legs without too much pain.
Idiot. I told you to bandage them.
I was tired, gimme a break. Now that I've gotten some sleep, you're like a tiger ready to pounce me with your nagging.
Seph pulled two mugs from the cabinet, placed the kettle on the stove with a few teabags dropped in, and leaned against the countertop.

Nyl unceremoniously rolled off the couch. She still felt like being lazy, but, having identified the voices as Hunter and Seph, she figured she shouldn't leave them to themselves for very long.

The kettle whistled and he made his way back out into the main room. He peeked around the front of the couch. "Are.. Are you okay, Nyl?"

"Yep. I couldn't think of a better way to wake myself up."

He nodded and sat down on the couch, next to the fox. He leaned towards it, his head infront of it, now at eyelevel. He closed his eyes and smiled.
