On his way out, Aiden accidentally slams the door. He runs down the stairs, to the truck, and hops in. The minute he closes the door there, he feels the tears start to leak over his cheeks. He feels incredibly stupid. He knows Rafa doesn't like him that way, at all. He knows this, but somehow, he still can't convince himself to stop caring.

Both Raf and his liaison stop when they hear the door slam, Rafael calls out "Mama?" Since that's the only person he'd expect to be doing anything involving the door of the house, but there's no answer. They shrug it off and finish what they were doing >>;

Aiden sits in the truck, willing himself to stop crying while fanning his face with his hand, hoping that will help a bit. He wantsto call ty, but he knows ty will just rub it in his face. Ty had warned him not to get too involved..

Rafael's "date" doesn't stay the night though, and when he leaves his room to go have a shower, he finds the clothes aiden had borrowed lying on the floor in disarray just outside his room. NOW he knows who'd been there, but since his mom and him only have the cell, and no home phone, he takes a shower, because his mother has the phone, and he can't do anything til she gets back.
When she does get home, it's rather later, but he calls Aiden anyways.

Eventually Aiden had been able to calm down enough to drive himself home, where he went to his room and cried some more. It was one thing to know that the person you were in love with didn't like you back. It was entirely another to see the proof of this so.... graphically.
When his cell phone rings, Aiden checks the id, then debates on whether or not to pick up. Eventually, on the last ring, he decides it might be a good idea. "Hello?"

"Aiden?" Raf asks, unsure of what to say, although he had felt he definitely had to call, "Were you over here, earlier tonight?"

Aiden shrugs, but raf can't see that. "I wouldn't want you to leave your boyfriend because I have a stupid crush." Aiden knows that it's far more than a crush now... but... he doesn't want to admit it.
