It was obvious, quite suddenly, what a toll all the fireballs had taken on her, as well as uncovering the source of the fog and healing Seph's hand. She sank back against the couch. "I can leave the shirt outside my room for you, if you want."
The little white fox put its paws on Nyl's leg and rested its head on top of them, looking up at her.

"That'll be fine," he said, referring to her shirt. He scooted forward a bit on the coffee table. "Can I see your arm? I'm no Doc, but I think still have the chakra to mend a scratch or two." He winked at her playfully.

Nyl held out her arm for him, too tired to protest to it. The fox made a soft noise and buried its face between Nyl and the back of the couch.

Wow, you've got to be exhausted.. I wasn't expecting compliance.
He hid his surprise very well, holding both hands about two inches from her arm. A small jet of ijutsu emptied from the center of his palms, twisting around her arms, following the cuts. His brow furrowed in concentration. They were deeper than they looked. He worked from the inside-out, pushing any foreign bacteria or objects from the cuts, until they were healed over.

She let out her own breath. "Thanks. But I think I'm just going to...sleep here." Her eyes were already half-closed.

He nodded and stood, spreading his already weak legs to brace himself. He pulled off his scarf, unfolded it, and lay it over her, careful of the small fox next to her. He lifted her legs onto the couch so she was lying down. "There. That should be a bit more comfortable. Goodnight, Nyl." He smiled at her, then looked at the fox, winking at it. "You look after her tonight." He grinned and inched out from between the couch and the table.

He smiled at the fox's response, making his way slowly out onto the porch. He picked up Nyl's mug and brought it back it.
So are you going to sleep tonight?

*smile* Good. Why are you moving so slow?
I don't have the energy to heal my legs. I'll be fine, I'll just clean them the old-fashioned way before I go to sleep.
No you won't. You know damn good-and-well that as soon as you sit down, you'll be out like a light.
Ah, you know me all too well, Protector. I'll clean them standing, then. It's just my calves and shins. The fog didn't manage to break through my shoes.
Alright, sounds good. Just please remember to do that. You don't want to go literally crawling to Nyl tommorrow because you were too stupid to take care of yourself.
I know, I know, don't worry. By this time, Sephiroth had already cleaned out the two mugs, wiped the blood from the floor of the porch and main room, and rinsed his damaged glove.
You're already beyond exhaustion. You haven't slept in three days, and your legs are trembling from the stress you're putting on them. If you don't sleep soon, you're going to die.
Alright, you're right. I'll be asleep sooner than you can say Nemuri.

Don't you dare. I've got to clean my cuts, don't I?
Seph did clean his cuts that night, complete with the Protectors ceaseless nagging. He managed to trudge to and from the Medbay, back out to the Main Room, and crashed on the nearest smaller loveseat. He was asleep before his head hit the pillow.

(( Bored... )) A small girl, about the age of three of four ran at quite the slow pace through the forest, crying and screaming as if afraid of something. He clothes were torn, and she was bleeding a bit, and there were a few bloody handprints on her arms from when someone tried to grab her. She could hear the footsteps behind of of the man that hurt her... and soon was swooped up into his arms as she screamed and struggled, only to find her mouth covered by his hand and helplessly being carried away.
