Masanori's Dexterity Training! DC: 18 Roll: D14 + 8 = 22 Successes: 2/10 Total Rolls: 4
He didn't take any time for his own to relax or curse himself of his failures this time. As soon as he had landed, the pushed himself backwards, turned 180 degrees in the air and saw the log fast enough to place his foot in the center. His face was serious, as he placed his other foot on the log infront. No wobbling. The next one was also a clean landing. Sweat had began to form on his body. The moist air of grove made it somewhat difficult for a person to get warm, but Masanori could definitely feel his strains in his body. His calves were beginning to have this feeling of an increase in size and sort of a tension in them. The logs did not wobble, not even on the thin ones. This time he felt the concentration. He was in a state of complete focus and control of his legs.

He punched his arms into the open air above him and let his face bathe for a second, feeeling the relief and satisfaction of being in complete control of the body you own. A few genins walked past him. He bowed in an over dramatic way. The genins laughed somewhat at the silly man infront of them and bowed back several times while at the same time walking away. Masanori copied them as well til they were out of sight. He felt good. So good that he actually genuienly were joked with people. "Okay.. Again!" He turned on his heel and jumped so far and high that he skipped first six logs that were placed on the ground before continuing onward on the field. No wobbling. His steps were direct and precise. He thought he was catching a hold of the tempo and placement that was needed in this exercise. As he came to the last log, he were about to try again with a flip, but decided that the moment wasn't right. He simply ran off of the log and reduced his speed until he came to a complete halt.

He felt the need for something more challenging. He looked around the area and noticed the gigantic trees that surronded him. Maybe he could use them in some way. But as it were now, the logs were too far away for him to use both them and the trees. So what he did was that he started to move them, little by little, closer to the trees around him. This made the space between the logs larger, forcing him to add more efforts into his jumps and also more precision into the amount of how much power were needed. Now he also got the opportunity to use new material in his training. He thought it would be fun if he could jump towards a tree and push back and land on the logs, to then continue to run through the course.
He took some breaths for himself. This needed some preparations. He closed his eyes and let his hands fold together behind his back. When the moment was right, he looked up over the field and charged (across the logs) towards a tree. He jumped towards it, bracing the impact with his hands and feet to, to then jump backwards, spin 180 degrees and land on the logs. He crouched down with both feet on one log to then shoot off towards the rest. This was going good. Soon enough he was done also with this try.

He looked back, after he had landed, witnessing a field of still logs. Not a single wobble. "Great.." he breathed out heavily with his hands on his knees. "Six more to go.." he stretched on his back once again and took a deep breath. He looked around and saw that no one was working in his peripheral view. "Nice.. I kinda like this.. No need to listen to idiotic suggestions or comments" he swept with his hands across his forehead. It was getting tougher. Soon he would have to take a break or something. He was good at moving but not for a long time. That was something he had to work with later. Now it was time for more training.
He walked up to the nearest log and stood on it with both feet. This time, he would do something different entirely. He would jump, with both feet at the same time across the obstacle course of logs, landing on both feet as well. So his feet would stay together the entire way across. As he started, it seemed difficult increasing in speed. But once he got speed it was hard to stop increasing in speed! Since the weight were so much in front, his feet had a hard time to keep up. He, surely, made alot of silly faces as he continously tried to regain balance and keep the speed as he made it across.

His calves were really swelling now. He sat down and began to massage them. He mutterd some to his lack of strength but nothing that could be heard by anyone that wasn't in direct contact with him. He looked up at the logs, examined them. It had gone fairly good these last tries. He wonderd if he needed to increase the difficulty somehow. He would at least skip the jumps with the feet together. It was alittle too silly and it had very low probability to prepare him to encounters that would need the specific ability to jump on tiny platforms with your legs locked together.
Soon enough, he rose up and got ready to go agian. He kicked alittle with his legs to the sides to get some blood into them before he kicked off to the adventure of the logs. No wobbling. No wobbling. No wobbling. It all went great. Hitting the center every time with just enough weight had become a feeling now. A feeling he could almost touch. He landed on the opposite side to where he had started with a great success. No log had fallen over or wobbled. He took a small break and leaned against a nearby tree. Once again looking over his exercise area.

He leaned his chest forward, then stretched out his hip to get into a normal walk towards the chopped up trees. "Right.." he said with his hands crossed over his torso. "Again.." he closed his eyes, took a few breaths, slowly letting his focus return to the matter at hand. His legs punched off and he directed himself towards one of the nearby trees. His eyes were in a constant squint and his senses were of the most focused level. The last log was reached before he jumped towards the tree, he had time to look back and noticed it standing completely non-wobbely. He landed with his left foot on the tree, held it there at the same time he kicked his right leg over the left in like a half-circle to then fall down towards the logs. His legs braced the fall perfectly and he returned to his dash across the course. Once in a while, before he reached the end of his ninth attempt, he tried to jump with only one leg. It proved very difficult to regain his normal way with two legs but a success non the less.

As he had done once before: he immediately turned on his heel to begin the course again. As though he was touched by a fairy of hybris, he got the thought of adding another extra challenge to his current attempt. As he were to leave the next log, he were to spin a whole turn around himself to then place his other foot on the next log. He saw that the spaces between the logs were to short for him to spin a whole turn beofre he landed on the next one, so he had to skip a few to make this acrobatic feat a possibility. He loaded up and saw an extra sturdy log which he could push off from. As the moment came, he went for jump, drew his arms to his left shoulder to spin around in the air. His head turned first so he could see the next log as early as possible. The landing-log was sighted. He drew closer and... Landed good enough for his speed to not fail and the log to not wabble! YES! He shouted through his body language. The end of his try drew to an end and he got off the course with one of his biggest smiles.

"Nice! F****** nice! That was cool! YES! SWEET!" Masanori didn't like to show emotions that much, drawing people in for the cool and quiet act. But now, when he was alone among the trees. He felt that it was okay. He turned to the logs with his hands on his hips and began to plan changes. He drew bored of the construction he had made. He were about to try something else. Jump up on one of the nearby logs and started to arrange the logs differently. He started to build stairs, in a long line, meaning that it started with a short long. The next on in the stair would be alittle taller, and the next somewhat taller as well. Until he reached a point about one and a half meters. Then a new stair began with a short one - building up to a tall one. The logs were enough to build three of these stairs. During this time of construction, plenty of logs were wobbling as he were holding logs at the same time he was jumping, creating some difficulty with the placing of his feet.

He got infront of the first log in the three-level-stairs-course. He put his first foot up on top of it. Leaned to the side to see if it all was straight(it was) before he started the first try. It was fairly easy to jump upwards in a steady climb. He needed somewhat redirect his energy to really push downward in the center to get some extra height to reach the next platform. As he got to the highest log he gave himself one extra look downwards to the short log below him, before he jumped. This time he landed with both of his feet at the same time before he continued upwards in the stairs. But the next time. He would try to land with one foot on the shortest log, and the other foot on the second to be the shortest one - to not stop in his motion. It was a success. As he reached the final high log, he set off into a front flip and landed gracefully on the soft grass/moss.

This try - he would attempt to go the other way around. The course would start off with the tallest of the logs and end with the shortest. Resulting to some explosive training for the legs. He walked over to stand infront of the log, that was nearly as tall as himself and put all his might into his legs and jumped. He got his one foot up on the platform, but his hip was too far down and away from him for him to push himself all the way up. So he had to back out. He pushed the log forward, forcing him into a backflip. He bent his legs as he landed, he go into a crouched position, to see his construction end in a domino effect. The logs fell on top of the one behind it, leading into that all of them were laying, scattered, on the ground. He shurgged and started to build up the course again.

The tallest-to-shortest-course were standing once more. He stood eye to his with his obstacle and glared at it. This was to most difficult part of the course. Since later when he had reached the shorest log on the other side, he would gain some extra centimeters from the log itself. So he just needed to beat this MF. He bend his legs, tossed his arms up and pushed with all of his might. He succesfully got one foot up upon the platform again, and this time, his hip were high enough for him to push himself put into a standing position. He made sure to push himself up slowly, creating some strain on his thigh muscle but ended up with not a single wobble. He took a few breaths before he started his path downwards which were a piece of cake. The tall jump were difficult no more and he could easily jump up to the highest platform of the next pair of stairs. Once the run was done - he had completed his ten attempts to not make the logs wobble.
As an extra challenge. He placed the logs out again, in a field of logs as they had stood from the beginning. But always standing on a log. The task were also to not wobble any of the logs he was standing on. Which with a bit of luck and patience. He successfully did as well. As the logs were placed. He took a little walk deeper into the grove. To get some distance between him and the obstacle course. He needed to compress all the information he had just gained and it was easier in an enviorment that were not the same as where the information took place. He found a large tree some minutes away from the course, far enough so he couldn't see it any longer. Around this area, the trees had grown with a small space in between them. Resulting in a large shade and a quiet spot for his mind.

Emi walked caressly through the grove. Her eyes taking the resemblance of dead fishes. This time a day (and other times as well) her mind were completely non-local. Her hanging jaw were a proof of this. A couple of shinobi's were training in the area just infront of her, and as one of them threw a rain of shurikens at the other one, Emi was stepping right into the crossfire. The man shouted at her to watch out but her reaction were non-present. She was thinking of the incredible small size that puppies possessed.
The shinobi that were getting attacked by the shurikens, ran in between the attack and her, with his back facing the imminent hurt. A dosen or more shurikens were launched straight into his clothing and somewhat into his flesh. He fell flat on his face, luckily, Emi didn't get crushed by his weight either but got out of the way just in time, without being realising any of what had just happend. A soft "Uuh" came out of the fallen shinobi.

The wind and the sound of some distant fighting was all that he could hear, that was a sign of that he was not thinking. He wanted his body to, in peace, collect all the data it had been given from his exercise in peace and quiet. He had read somewhere that the body has this muscle memory, that needs to be taken into account. He figured that maybe the sitting by still, the body got some space to really sink in the information it had been recieved. Just as he opened his eyes, he got see the entire event. The girl walking obliviously through the attack and continue forward as if nothing happend - hilarious. He chuckled to the luck or timing the girl possessed. He got off from his resting spot, thinking that his legs got enough rest for him to be able to walk again. He walked over to the girl and crouched down infront of her. Just to be sure he would hear him, he had his right index finger right infront of her face so if she didn't her him - she would definitely be woken up from her trance by a poke on her forehead "Hey" he said, "should you really be here? Isn't this school hours?"

"Ow!" she said rubbing her forehead with both of her hands at the same time. "huh?! School?... OH YEAH!" he turned on her heel and began to sprint out the way she came from, but stopped suddenly and asked herself with a finger on her chin "How did I get here?" she looked around and were very confused by the sudden change of location from the frontyard of her house to the forest. "Hmm.. Weird.. Maybe I teleported or something.. Oh! Thanks mister!" she turned to the man who had poked her "I'll get to school in time because of you!" with that she gave a quick wave before running out of the forest.

He stood up from his crouched position and took his gaze away from the little girl and started walking to a secluded area. He had gotten recommended by a fellow ANBU member to learn a certain jutsu. The jutsu were a unspoken rule to know once you were going on higher ranked missions, but this one had slipped passed Masanori. Which were strange since it related so much to himself. He reached a secluded area. The jutsu was called "Genjutsu Kai". The man who had recommended the jutsu, also explained how you should go about to learn it. The first stage were to read up on basic genjutsu, but since Masanori had surpassed "baisc"-genjutsu some time ago, he figured he would just meditate on his thoughts about it.
