i play the clarinet for 5 years im a freshmen at Jupiter High
just so u know Jupiter FL. it s town so u dont think im lying
i think that sence i have played it for so long that i have already learned it all and it would be sooooo good to play a new instrument i REALLY want to play the Bass clarinet. But my band director wont even let me plaay he says "oh, of course, you con ply the bass clarinet" but every time i ask him about it he always has some gay a** excuse i have been asking for months now and i really dont think that thats fair.

Hello there fellow clarinet players. I'm Ashley. I'm 16 and a sophmore at OSHS. Band is my favorite class period. I've been playing my clarinet for almost 6 years! My band is going to Disney World this summer and we will be marching in one of the night parades. I can't wait!

yo! Hello fellow clarinets!
I'm a sophomore and I've been playing since 6th grade.
At my high school, we have split into two concert bands:The stage band and the bandroom band. I am the 1st in the bandroom one.

Marching band is the best!!

HEllooooo I'm joining this discussion. =)
I've been playing clarinet since fifth grade, which has almost been four years. (i'm in eighth grade)
Next year for marching band, we're going to Disney World. woo!!! I'm excited. =D
Okay... yeah. I love my clarinet. =)

hey
im a freshman and im 3rd chair in highest band at my school (lol i had to put that it makes me very excited....)
i start marching band this summer cuz i switched districts and by the time i had it was too late to join marching band... i cant wait
i have played clarinet since 6th grade and piano for almost 8 years and i started playing bass clarinet in my second hour of band halfway thru this year (you think ur a band nerd??? smile )

PLEASE HELP desprite love gatorsrock747 just to let u know besides how much air u need for bass the music is rly a lot easier than clarinet so if ur looking for a challenge u might want to try something else it is a ton of fun tho smile i convinced my band teacher to let me play by playing in an another band and doing bass there ... if ur that desperate smile

Hello! I'm Beth and I started playing in 7th grade (the earliest it was offered) and have now been playing for 4 years now. 3nodding I'm 1st chair in both concert and marching band, and hope to become a band teacher in the not-so-near future.
Question: One of my clarinets won't play a middle B when I use the left-hand fingering. As it turns out, my C key isn't going down all the way, allowing air to escape and preventing sound unless I hold down the key. This isn't a big problem, but it IS annoying in runs and things like that. Can anyone help?
Also! (Wow, this is long and rather needy) I'm looking for an R13 clarinet. I'm looking on ebay, but they're all either overpriced, bad condition, or have the wrong kind of keys. Help?
And now my pathetic begging is done. Haha. sweatdrop
