"Oh. That's rather poetic, in it's own right.."
Kirai considered her answer for a moment before she continued.
"...Did you have ordinance over ALL travel, or was that divided by sections and handled by the individuals in that section?"
Kirai looked at her, and then at his scroll; he hadn't figured out, as of yet, HOW exactly it worked. He only knew that his demons were kept in a pocket dimension that he had the ability to open and close at will; what he WANTED to know was whether or not someone could shut down his ability if they chose to do so. And, If so, who?
"So what exactly did you do to be a renegade, then? You don't exactly seem dangerous, you know."
Kirai still wasn't sure what to make of this girl; if she was telling the truth, it cleared up a couple of his questions; but if she was lying and this was all just a big joke on him, he didn't know what he was going to do. But she didn't seem very hostile, she didn't even seem shy, she just seemed...nervous.
Before Kirai forgot, he looked back up at Regalia, with a small grin.
"Oh. By the way. I'm Kirai. Do you have a name?"

The earth erupted around the entity hands, forearms, feet and shins. Keeping him down and open for possible attack. " Hmm I do hope you have a plan to get us out of here. looks like we might have to lose this battle.

The entity had other plans as to what would happen. Once on the ground Kane's body began to heat up... the way his masters had taught him to do... or scratch that the scientist. Kane body will be allowed to do spontaneous combustion which will burn 80% of the body if Kane was the one who did it. But he won't be burned thanks in part to the entity. The entity will burn up... it was a mistake by the scientist but they figure it out how to do it but not die.

So the entity Proceeded to start the spontaneous combustion process. Kane only hoped that the earth roots will burn and he will be freed.

Great Kane

She shrugged. "Yes, and no." She didn't feel like going into detail, especially with a stranger. Now that she was human, there was so much she had to worry about. She didn't know what to expect from this world.

Fear was a human emotion. She disliked it but her body reacted to it. People fear the unknown. Her body feared the unknown. She could no longer help what she felt and what she didn't feel.

Striving to stop the cold sweat washing down her skin, she began to play with her hair... a very feminine act. Everything about her was just so... GIRLY. She didn't intend for it to appear that way. If anything, she wanted to seem like a powerful and important person. She wanted to look like a lady. A grown-up with charisma.

So much for that.

"Regulus." She answered quite simply. She didn't have a last name and he didn't give his either. "But Regalia is alright too. Regulus is not a woman's name."

Nor was it a man's name. It was the name of a star system she'd taken to living on a long, long time ago. It was Latin for a royal title -- 'Little King.' A prominent name. She had once fallen in love with the lore of Leo, which was the constellation in which Regulus resided as the central, brightest star -- the HEART of the lion, so to speak. It was then that she took on the name of Regulus the Lionhearted. She would have made 'lionhearted' into her last name too.

If it weren't so obviously a self-imposed title.

"A pleasure to meet you, Mister Kirai." She had stepped away from the tree by then, her slender legs delicately bending as she fanned out her skirts in a dainty yet difficult curtsy. Her shoulders did not strain. Her right hand lifted the silks and frills of her garment as her left hand went to the small of her back, her left arm neatly placed as she bent forward slightly. It was not a deep curtsy. On the contrary, it was rather slight. She did, however, plan to hold it for the full twelve seconds... or maybe until he rose her to her feet. Outdated formalities always looked like they made sense in equally outdated fashion statements.

Her eyes still half on the ground, she continued to reply to his questions. Hey, they weren't big, giant secrets or anything. No one usually believed her. If they DID believe her, they still couldn't do s**t about it. The bottom line was that she was now human, more or less, and that the past couldn't be used to take advantage of her.

Still...

"We all have skeletons in our closet, Mister Kirai." She declined answering solidly this time. "They are in the closet for a reason. Naturally, I pose very little threat now. There is no hope for me to return to my former self so I can only be content with the present. What say you?"

The antiquity of her speech was almost appalling.

Kirai could feel a strange bond to this girl now, with that last statement. He wasn't sure what it was, only that he felt an invisible chain connecting them; and he was sure that only he felt it.
"Nothing is set in stone in this life, Regalia."
Kirai kicked off of the tree nonchalantly, though it shook a bit from his power, and took a respective bow.
"As you were once a star, now you are a human; Before you came, I didn't know such things were possible. So even now, something has changed, has it not?"
Kirai looked up at her with a small grin, again.
"As long as you are alive, Regalia, things will change. Life has a funny way of teaching you that; you'll find out soon enough."
Kirai actually gave her a small smile, which was rare, for him.
"Seeing as you just enrolled, i'm going to assume the obvious notion that you're a student, and since you're just getting here, you're probably looking for the dormitories, right?"
Kirai's smile turned into a grin again.
"If you'd like, i can show you to your new living quarters."

Tabula Rasa -- Clean Slate.

That was something Raid told her before he enrolled her. She was to have a clean slate to work with... and on that slate, she could do whatever she wanted. Raid, her father. Raid, her son.

Come to think of it, if Raid hadn't existed... or if he hadn't been there when he was there that long, long time ago... then she, perhaps, would not be here. It was he who ended her carnage on Earth when she descended in a fit of violence. It was he that she killed in cold blood and revived in boredom. It was he that she recreated and it was he that she ultimate fell in love with.

Not romantic love, of course. He was a piece of art to her... her own masterpiece. From the dregs and ashes of a pitiful man, she brought out a God. A God-slayer. A man to end legends and rise to legend himself.

The World Destroyer.

Had she failed in her recreation of that man, she would have lost interest in him and cast him away to despair. However, she loved him as if he were a brother. She loved him as if he were a son. She twisted her authority so many times that she became the greatest criminal ever to be wanted by the Council. She committed countless atrocities so she could be together with Raid.

After so much time in passing, she was freed from her custody and exiled. Her wish, then, came true... a the price of her pride. All in all, she couldn't say she regretted the outcome. What she had longed for was now effortlessly hers. The price was simply a little high for her liking. The Council was fair to her. They knew her before her descent into humanity and 'insanity,' as graded by the Stellars. However, they had no emotions. They had no ambitions -- only duty. They could not sympathize with her or understand her. Only Raid could.

She loved him as if he were her father.

Kirai's claim to the instability of fate confused her. She lived a past life where almost nothing was out of her reach. She was almost 100% omnipotent. If she wanted to satisfy her emotion of 'happiness,' then happiness was hers. In other words, fate meant nothing to her at all... at least not until she fell in love with Raid. She'd never wanted anything. After all, what she could not have, probably only First Class Nobility of the Council could have. She wouldn't get upset over it.

Regulus did not have enough experience as a human. She did not know what it meant to want something desperately.

"Dormitories?" She blinked for a few moments. The silvery-white lashes on her eyes were painted with dark-silver mascara to make them show up. Otherwise, she'd look like she had no lashes at all. Creepy. Her hand slipped inside her pocket. There were several on the inside lining of her split-front skirt so she actually had to reach inside her skirt to get it. Awkward a bit?

Regulus didn't think so. Human contact like that didn't mean very much to her, mentally speaking. The reaction of her body to outside interference did not fully connect to her head yet. She was not yet used to controlling her body nor was she comfortable letting down her guard and giving up her stoicism.

The GDC knew what they were doing though. One day, human emotions would invade her completely and force her into submission. She would then be rendered incapable of returning from exile. For the rest of her immortal life, then, she would become the equivalent of what she formerly saw as a bug.

Drawing out a folded letter bearing her room assignment, she doubled-checked to see if it was indeed Wingardia 001. Now that she was human, mistakes were common place. Perfection was impossible. She was best off being careful. Raid told her that all her belongings had already been shipped, unpacked, and arranged according to her preferences.

Having a Necromancer as a guardian was so nice. She didn't have to get her hands dirty in all the raising dead bodies mess but there were always servants to do the time-consuming manual work. Raid assured her that he'd adorned them, head-to-foot, with air fresheners.

"Ah... if it isn't too much of a bother, I take you up on your offer, Mister Kirai." Another small curtsy. "I have a terrible sense of direction with anything smaller than a solar-planetary system."

Mitoko heard the elf's question and looked at his blue sword now that the entity was on the ground. He had never seen the sword act this way the entire time he'd own them. He pulled a small black note-pad from his back pocket and opened it. He read a few pages and it explained the what was happening.
"I haven't used enough of the swords magic in a few years so its been building up." Mitoko said to the elf, "It wont harm us if I release it soon, but if I hold it off to long, I have no idea what will happen"
He got an idea, and hit the button on the rectangle item on the sword. As soon as he pressed it, the metal surrounded the blade. It stopped twitching and he stuck it in the holder on his back. He walked up closer to the elf and set his red sword on his shoulder.
"What do we do about him?"

The Warlord Rode towards the school of Ria " The prince must hear my message , It has to do with the war effort and the Royal family "

The Warlord continues to ride towards the school. He begins to think of the message the late king told him before he died " The Crown Prince is now king , the vampires have taken over the capital. " Then the king died before he could say the last words

The Warlord sighed to himself " Those vampires, They killed the king but for what reason ? " He sighed to himself as he neared the school " no time to think about that now "

He got off the horse and walk towards the gates of the school. An android greeted him " No i don't have a Id i am only delivering a message to the new king " . He hated Technology , he did not understand why people would rely on machines for everything

He began to pace as he waited for the king to show up " He better not be late this is important "

In the distance he can hear fighting " Now that is what men suppose to do , show who is better " He chuckled to Himself

Seyla stepped away from Momo for a moment excusing herself as she noted the presence of a rider on horseback in the distance. It seemed this man was in quite the rush and mother Aili was still rather occupied with the other student. Hopefully Momo wouldn’t mind the interruption. Normally, Seyla would have just let the android take care of the nonsense, but she could tell he was here as a messenger and not a student. She watched as he dismounted and headed towards the greeter. She quickly jogged over and placed her hand upon his shoulder, hoping to spin him around in her direction.

“Excuse me? Can I help you? My name is Seyla Hawking, I work for the school and I couldn’t help but notice your apparent distress.” She waited patiently and took a step back. The man looked like he could knock her out with one punch. It was certainly intimidating. However, she felt it was her duty to help this man as a representative of the school. Not to mention, she didn’t want this scary man wrecking havoc with the students. She tried to catch Mother Aili’s gaze, but it seemed she was still busy. ‘You’re so much better at these things Mother Aili,’ she thought sadly.

The Warlord Turned around and looked at the female " Yes i am in distress and i need to talk to Someone "

He kept her Gaze and then turned away " Maybe this women can help me . But what if she does not know the person in question ? "

He took a Deep breath and let it out Slowly " I am looking for a Student name Robert the Slayer. I have a urgent message for him. It has something to do with his father and his people "

He then sighed again " Can you take me to Robert ?. "

Tainar's ears twitched just before Kane burst into flames. He'd always had a second sense when it came to fire: he hated it. Fire destroys so much every year especially the precious plant life his kind holds dear. He took an involuntary step back as the fire continued to rage despite the ice pelting them. In the presence of such unnatural heat it wasn't comforting either to know that the hard packed earth around the entity's limbs was drying out and slowly becoming dust. He had the option to remove the oxygen from Kane's immediate area, thus snuffing the flames, but there was also a high chance for causing brain damage to Kane or killing him. Neither was a happy option.

Another unhappy option was the prospect of Mikoto losing control of his weapons. So the self-movement had been from pent up energy? A gentle blush came to Tainar's cheeks, perhaps from the cold or maybe other reasons, but it swiftly faded. Whatever thought he'd had was replaced by new more gruesome images of what fates could befall a man who was being assaulted by a demonic sword... Tainar shook his head quickly to rid his eyes of such visions and refocus on the bigger problem: Kane. It wouldn't be long before he broke free and if he started to rain fire down on them there would be little the elf could do. As it was, the only reason the entity wasn't free yet was simply the density of the earth that was restricting him. Soon the heat would permeate the ground holding him down and the earth would crumble away. "We wait." The elf brushed his hand over his face nervously. How good are you with fire?" Tainar glanced over his shoulder at Mikoto with a vague look of panic in his eyes.

The heat was gathering From the process of spontaneous combustion. Kane only hoped that it was enough to free him from the earths roots around his body." Come on Entity we can win this battle.. just a little more energy and then your good to go" Kane told the entity.

The entity can feel the fire burning in him and decided that was enough to break free from the earth. Then it happen as if it was on Que. The entity's body shook as the fire came to the surface and soon the earths roots were burning. " ARRRRAGH!!!!! " screamed the entity as the fire came though him.

With that much force Kane body flew into the air and he can feel the air and the icy rain on him as he got higher and higher.

" Eventual we will fall and lets hope that we are alone when we do" Kane said to the entity

Mitoko looked at his red sword then back at the elf with a smile.
"Fire is just another of my weapons thanks to this sword, so dealing with fire will be easy for me" he said while tapping his sword on his shoulder. "Besides, ice works on fire too." He motioned toward his other sword.

Mitoko's attention was drawn back to the entity on the ground when it burst into flames then into the air. Ok, i've never seen that before he thought to himself. He looked at the elf with an odd smile.

"It looks like we get to find out if I am good with fire" He said before running towards a tree and jumping his way up it to the top. He looked to the sky to see which way the entity was falling before jumping back down. He began to run to try to intercept the entity when it landed.
PostPosted: Sat Dec 05, 2009 10:01 pm

Tainar wasn't reassured much by Mikoto's smile. Fire upon more fire just meant a lot of fire which inwardly terrified the elf. Ice wasn't a bad idea though, except that the hail about them hadn't seemed to have any effect. Unable to match the swordsman's upbeat attitude he turned back to Kane on the ground. Tainar's ear began to twitch again which struck him as odd. The fire was already known and taken heed of, there was no reason for his tell to start up again. That's what he thought anyway. In an explosion of fire and air, Kane's body broke through the last of the restraints and rocketed into the sky. All Tainar saw during this was a streak of red and orange shoot upward from just a few feet in front of him. While the elf was stunned the swordsman seemed just fine and immediately took action by running up a tree to get a glance of where Kane had gone. The elf thought the move was rather futile thanks to the thick cloud cover but still turned his own eyes to the sky. Just barely visible in the grey abyss was a flaming ball he assumed to be the entity. The inferno was still roughly straight up from where he had taken off so Tainar decided he wasn't in the best place anymore. In fact, he would have liked to have been much farther from the possible landing point so he started taking slow but calculated steps backwards so he wouldn't be caught under or in the immediate vicinity of the landing fire blast.
