Why stop with this simple small tree? Perhaps he could this small humble plant and take it to newer heights. Like flowing petals falling, his chakra screamed with a commanding aura. He would have to transfer it for this to work. He walked towards the object, placing a hand upon its bark and began the process. The process took long, probably because this was officially the first time he had taken the time to refine such a talent. The small tree began to rise a little further up, distorting as it ascertained the male's height. Soon, the wood began to take a form that became humanoid, the leaves twisting to hair, the bark indenting to make a face. Sal focused harder.
As a minute passed, before him stood a "perfect" clone of him. He did not believe in perfection. If such a thing existed, how would human ingenuity advance? No. It could pass off enough to be him, but to say it was perfect, that was a lie. He sized the body up and noticed how the eyes were brown rather than red. This demanded a do over and so it was done, the tree returning back to it's usual state. He exhaled deeply once more and mustered forth his chakra and did so as many times it took until the Clone before him resembled him from head to toe and that it took less than a minute. He was complete.

Toying around with wood was all fun and games, but eventually the water from the moat would dissipate and there was one more thing he had to do with it else he found himself being repetitive in creating it again. He walked towards some of the training dummies at last, but stopped a little near the mud itself. Despite how it appeared, this was a source of water and therefore like every building that needed a hefty base to keep it aloft, he would find solace and comfort in knowing that it would be there to which he received the support of drawing forth hydrogenated products. He briefly brought his hands forth, water, in small quantities, drawing forth from the ground. As it drew closer to his hands, they began to take a distinct star shape, four points to be exact. The water pressurized, seemingly becoming a hard shape for him to grasp around the center. He gripped it lightly, spinning it between his thumb and middle finger. The ultimate test was before him however. He had to test the sharpness of this Shuriken. That was where this training dummy had come into play.
Close fighting, that never was his thing on most occasions. If he could keep his opponent at bay with terrain and other effects, he was in the clear. Here, he was arming himself with the elements themselves. Sal gripped the Shuriken with force and threw the water forged blade forth. A sharp indenture tore into the wood, splinters cracking as the water itself fell down shortly thereafter. He had done it. This was something to add to his arsenal for this important briefing.

The moat before him had finally faded. He no longer had use for it, truth be told. What was to come next in his training no longer deal with wood and of water. It dealt with the Earth itself and he saved it just for that. This from which he had seen before, required just one handsign. If he was to go into a fight he could not win, he needed to get away safely. Those were the reasons why he trained in those particular jutsus. They were made to help stall and delay. He probably could not put up a fight against higher ranked shinobi and therefore he simply had to put his best foot forward. He lowered down to the ground itself, the mound rising up to consume him. Where he was going was not far. This jutsu had a limit after all. It was safe to say that he was done here for the time being however once this was learned. He was going to the entrance from where this all began. Why, you ask? Just so he could spare himself the trouble of having to walk out there himself. He had other places to go.

Thankfully for him, the academy wasn't too far away. Yet even as he arrived, Rayne could already feel the sweat beginning to collect and drip down his brow. It was indeed a hot day in the Land of Fire, his gradually dampening attire testament to that fact. Being overly focused on the heat, Rayne walked into the instant before a sound caught his attention. Turning to the side, he say the large lion watching him intently. Instantly Rayne felt his heart clench and breath spike. Why was there a lion in the acadamy? Smiling slightly, fear still in his eyes he backtracked slowly towards the academy where he could hear the quiet echo of voices resonating.
The adrenaline began to slow when he finally entered the building. With the heat slowly beginning to ebb from his body and the sweat becoming cold, Rayne took the moment to look around. At the other end of the room, was the Hokage. At least the secretary was right stating that she was here, that just left the other people scattered around the place. There were a few he vaguely knew. Having recently been in the academy, many of them had been in the same class together. Overall though only two people came to his attention; Kya and Oga. Being in the same class as them, it was no overstatement to say Kya was the cream of the crop. The best in every subject she dominated the class as if it was in her right, regardless of the rumors of her home life. Then there was the tall and very muscular Oga. There were times he would watch him spar Kya, the two reminding him of how his older brothers acted except these two were closer in age. Still though, Rayne kept his ensemble as the quiet kid in class.
Giving a kind smile, Rayne lifted his hand in a greeting before sitting down on the floor towards the back of the class. He kept his posture alert in case the Kage began speaking, but besides that he took out a small novel he had begun reading a few days ago and wished to finish before everything started

Taka had been watching everyone file in, one by one. She glanced over the audience she had assembled here for their briefing. She smiled, a pointed tooth visible just before she began talking.
"Good. All of you got here on time. Thats a change for the better. Usually have to discipline someone when I try to get everyone on the same page." She said, the last bit slightly under her breath as she sat up a little better. "So. Our enemy. The United Hidden Villages. Not quite a fitting title really. They are a xenophobic group; military in their actions bent on destroying anything that utilizes chakra. Meaning pretty much our entire way of life! Not only that, but they are getting increasingly good at doing this. I have prepared for you today a memory. This memory is of a medium sized engagement against their forces and a previously classified mission that I was sent to handle. A graduation test if you will." She said, looking over the group as she spoke, meeting each persons eyes as she went along, unwavering.
"To show you this memory I will be locking each of you in a genjutsu. I would ask you not to resist my chakra, it will make this very taxing if you do. The uchiha in the group should know that you are in no way at risk of prematurely awakening your sharingan. During this genjutsu you will feel momentarily displaced. I will be crafting the room to allow you to freely move about the areas I visited and can remember. With the help of shade, koshi and luna I have reconstructed their engagements with a two 'Sergent' level combatants. If you have any questions during this, speak up as we can freeze the memory in its tracks and address every concern. I will warn you this will be a little taxing on your mind and you will likely feel tired as a result after the briefing is over." She said in a calm manner, describing what was about to happen.
"Again I will stress that this particular session is merely a briefing. Nothing in my jutsu will harm any of you but it will be very vivid. The uhv do not hold back at any given time. They do not have any notion of honor. They get their jobs done as efficiently as possible. If that means an entire squad firing on an honorable combatant, thats going to happen whether you like it or not. They dont follow bushido and they use combat methods that are a bit alien to most people around this area. Are you all ready to begin?" She asked finally, shutting her eyes and clearing her thoughts, waiting for their responses.
Shade moved to bar the door into their room so nobody could walk in on their briefing after taka shut her eyes. She really didnt want any new recruits getting trauma from her first briefing. This is also why one of her lions was currently entertaining and allowing a class full of young recruits pet and love on her. Luna was quite good with children.

Seeing the pointed tooth within Taka's cute mouth caused Naomi to shiver though she didn't understand why. Perhaps it was just pre-mission jitters, though it didn't feel like fear. Hearing that everyone had arrived would have worried the girl since they were sans Sal but she'd managed to to detect his chakra within the building so he was probably off training somewhere and not supposed to be here. That being said it also meant that she wouldn't have his support during this training exercise. Those UHV guys again... Wait graduation test? But nobody said anything about that! I didn't get a chance to study! Her thoughts raced with test anxiety until Taka's eyes hit her own. Those thoughts came to a crashing halt as a light pink unconsciously rose to the genin's cheeks before she glanced away from the kage's gaze. Something felt funny but she didn't understand what since the girl hadn't really ever experienced it before. Pushing the feeling to the side with a deep breath Naomi continued to listen to the training briefing.
So they were going to be put under a genjutsu then. An interesting though probably very helpful way to convey information rapidly. At the same time Naomi found herself unsure of what exactly they would be doing within this memory. If it was true that they could move around one would think that there was more too this than simply watching a memory play out. "Pardon me, Lady Hokage.... but will we be in the memory so to speak? That is um, are we going to be fighting or simply watching?" An important question in her mind, Naomi didn't fancy getting stabbed because she was part of the memory. Genjutsu wasn't real but it could certainly feel like it sometimes. Despite a sense of trepidation about the possibility of actually being in the engagement part of the girl did hope that they would be fighting. It'd be a great chance to actually utilize some of her recent cram training.

Hokage-sama is going to use a genjutsu that will be from her memory that will be used on a medium sized engagement against the UHV forces. A test from personally herself. This wiill definatelly be benifitial and anyone who is clever enough will learn as much as he or she can when they are placed in the genjutsu, pass or fail. Also being what she calls a 'graduation test'; there must be something added for someone that impressis her after the memory genjutsu is done. Something like this is to be expected from Lady Hokage-sama. She trully deserves the title 'Kage' and no doubt the coolest person in the village, easy. Naomi, a fellow Senju asked 'are we going to be fighting or simply watching?' That is actually a very good question that she asked. " That is a good quest. And Lady Hokage to follow that up, if we will be doing something in the memory, will each of us be doing something different?"

Kisuke was waiting in the room with the rest of the class, he was a bit off to the side with fang. It seemed everyone knew each other pretty well. They were lucky to have such a large class graduate. His class only had a couple people that passed. But it was a bit noisy, Taka then continued to explain that they shouldn't resist her genjutsu. He had made that mistake before, wasn't the greatest experience. He was ready to go into the genjutsu, he remained silent off to the side.
Chet cleaned out some wax from his right ear with his pinky while balancing his chair on two legs. Everyone seemed surprised at the idea of getting putting into a test out of nowhere. Chet didn't really care. Genjutsu didn't really phase him anymore depending on how powerful it was. He assumed the Hokage wouldn't put them all under an S rank genjutsu. Otherwise even he would feel the effects. Something felt off though. The test was explained in a way that left a lot of information out. He dropped his chair down and was about to ask a question himself when a girl asked before him. She seemed shy even scared when addressing the Hokage. He didn't get it. Everyone seemed awed by her. "The lion is dope though." He mumbled. He decided to lay low and just wait for what ever was going to go down. He decided to name everyone in the meeting since he didn't know their names. Or didn't remember. First one to catch his attention was obviously the girl who had first asked a question to the Hokage. From what he could tell she was Tryhard. He didn't like how Tryhard sounded coming off the tongue however and so he named her Rookie. Next up was a handsome looking dude. Green eyes, swanky clothes, the dude had style and Chet loved people with style. He'd name the guy "Pretty Boy." Next to him was another kunoichi. She gave off the "I'm a queen" vibe and looked hungover. Chet could tell easily. He'd name her "Lightweight." In front of her was a big a** looking dude with a katana sheath. He looked like a god damn ogre. He reminded Chet of the dangerous gangsters he didn't necessarily hang around, but heard of in stories. Guys that had rep without needing to prove anything anymore. "Big Boy." He laughed at the crap nickname to himself. Somewhere else in the group he found a little fella reading to himself. That one was easy "Book Worm." Chet looked back at the Hokage suddenly bored of naming everyone. He wasn't paying attention. Just waiting for whatever happened. That was more fun.

Oga notice more people coming into the room they were in and finding themselves places to sit, the last was Rayne who he knew from class, and by knew he meant knowing next to nothing about the kid, he was the quietest one in class closely competing with the shy Naomi. For much of Oga's slight happiness no one had come to sit next to him, meaning he could stay there in pure silence, he wasn't one to talk anyway or asking questions. Closely paying attention to the Kage he would notice that she had a tail and that intrigued the male very much, but this was not the time about questioning such a thing, he was sure the time would come. Hearing that he would be put into a Genjutsu to see and somewhat experience first hand what the UHV were capable of, Oga would just get himself comfortable by crossing his legs like a Buddha and wait for everyone to get ready and be done with the questions, for him seeing them first hand would be a much better than asking and he was sure that the smarter ones would get right through with all the questioning.

Kya was a little put off by the idea of living somone elses memories, but nonetheless shes at up and at attention. Chet' naming of her didn't go unnoticed (unless he wasnt saying that out loud but I'm at work so sue me0 and didn't necessarily mind. Everyone is a lightweight after ten rounds with Jose cuervo. She merely listened to the question posed by Naomi, but opted out of speaking herself, somewhat daunted, but mostly eager to get started.

"Is this gonna hurt?" Sumika asked, incredulous as to the methodology of this method of briefing. "If we're tired how are we gonna go on a mission? What are all the lions for? What if we're bad at being put in a genjutsu? Can we get stuck in the genjutsu? How do the UHV do stuff without chakra?" The Genin visibly squirmed in her chair with each successive question, making it quite clear that they would keep coming so long as no one stopped her via some manner. Younger than most of the other Genin in the room and always infinitely curious. It was this inability to moderate interest, and a complete lack of physical skill, that had seen her graduation delayed. One wouldn't have been able to tell her bodily faults, however, as the chair positively shook with her energy. It didn't seem to matter what, if anything, had already been asked, by whom or at what time. If the ground could be tread, Sumika was determined to god there.

As soon as the Kage began to speak Rayne gently closed his book and put it away. Moderately sad that he was only a few chapters from finishing it, he nonetheless paid very close attention to the kage. As she went through the facts he went over everything in his mind. UHV. Memory. Genjutsu. Battle. Graduation Test. Rayne bit his lower lip softly at the last two thoughts that trickled across his mind. If there was anything that Rayne disliked it was battle and tests. While not being horrible at tests, physical examinations were always his weak point: particularly battle situations. The act of violance against another person was distasteful to him, making his stomache slightly queasy at the thought that this wouldn't be a spar in any sense of the word. There was going to be real combat, death, blood, and war all wrapped together with a bow to top it all off.
The slight benefit he had was the knowledge that it was a genjutsu and not real. However, genjutsu can very much give off the feeling of reality if you become distracted for even a second. Hopefully this wasn't the case for himself. When Naomi began speaking he curteously turned his head in her direction to fully make out what she was asking. Personally, he hoped they could all watch this almost like a morbid sporting event. Participating would be taxing but based off the Kage's words he had the slight sense of fear growing that they may be participating. What a wonderful way this would be to introduced to his peers around the room. A battle going on while Rayne was barely able to keep his lunch down. Whatever this may be, he hoped it would end quickly.

He was on time, which was not a shocker for him, but it felt quite boring all the same. He found himself resting against the wall, a little behind the scenes while his sister and a few others took it upon themselves to be the front of the conversation. That meant that this naturally talented strategist got to sit down, watch and observe and pay close attention with a soft yawn. Questions were asked regarding what the Hokage brought up, but presently he had none of his own to formulate. None that were not already covered to say the least. He just remained silent, listening and observing everyone and everything around his presence. They were in no Genjutsu yet, but if they were, it did seem convincing. It were to those reasons he would specialize in such a talent and make it his own.

As she gazed over her group locking eyes with each of them, the first irregular thing she noticed was the girl blushing. Even with her emotion sensing active she was somewhat easy to read. About her age if not a little younger. She stored that away for later. Good to know. The second major thing that popped up was a wave of anxiety at her word test. She smirked slightly. They seem to have misunderstood her. Maybe she wasn't clear. Then came the questions. She was listening calmly to the one spouting off at a mile a minute.Thankfully she finished. She begun answering their questions in the order they came at her.
She cleared her throat. "Naomi, you have given me an excellent idea but for now it will merely be visual. You will be able to transverse the memory, walk around and examine what you feel is important, however nothing will be able to interact with you except for the people here." She gave her a soft smile and moved to the next persons question. "Ichiryu was it? No, you will all be in the memory together experiencing the same things. I will be there as well to answer your questions."
She had to hold up a hand to stop the flow of sumika's questions. "Normally yes I would hurt you using this. But this is a special case so no. You wont be sent directly out on the mission but will have a day of rest before going on your recon. To prepare everything you will need for an extended mission. If you got stuck I could get you out but the genjutsu will end on its own once i stop supplying it with chakra. The lions are my partners and are actually about jounin level at this point in their lives. And thats the tricky part isnt it. The uhv hate chakra users. But they do use them. They are just the lowest on the rung as far as their leadership and soldiers are concerned. They either supplement with technology or one of their people they consider lower than s**t uses the chakra."
She finished simply. She looked around for anyone else posing questions then took a quick glance at koshi. The lion would watch for any issues while they were all under. It would only be a few seconds in reality. "Lets begin." She said as she formed a seal, slowly opening her eyes. The entire world for the group would go pitch black before the smell of the forest would reach them all before anything else. Then the scene would begin to emerge as she quickly cast her genjutsu twice, the second jutsu fulfilling its own purpose.
The road as it seemed, was empty enough until a group of 8 men made their way quietly down the stretch, keeping a formation around a central two figures: 2 in front, one one each side, and two in the rear. Their pace was brisk, but still slow enough to maintain a proper amount of time to insure security, their eyes constantly moving. The two in the back would mumble over their radio to each other as they checked the rear.
"Harv...why did we even have to hire those gu-"
"Because the ******** boss ordered us to! Now shut up and keep your eyes on the prize!" ____ Taka was along in the forest, measuring their forces with calculated gaze. She took note of their weapons that each one would carry, as well as their formation, current pace, and grumpiness of the lot of them. She waited them to be an optimum position for her to deal with and formed seals while she waited, clearing her mind and preparing it for way. She relaxed visibly as her eyes scanned them all, each footstep a metronome in her timing. Left, right, left, right. Good little soldiers. A shame she was told no witnesses. They were only following orders to receive their pay. Then again so was she. _____
As if something had alerted them to her presence, the team burst into action, a group of 2 of them took one of the central figures and ran deep into the forest, continuing in the direction of the dirt road one way, while another group of 2 took the second central figure and ran into the other side of the forest, continuing on the path of the dirt road. 2 stayed behind, one taking a kunai pebble and chucking it deep into the forest semi-close to her location, like he had been tipped off, and kunai erupted in a mass of black clouds and lightning, similar to that of storm release. Although powerful, this was mainly a electric, glorified, damaging smoke grenade used to hide visibility. The other soldier would fire 20 kunai in a large spread around Ivi's possible location, their burning qualities igniting the trees around her. She could only assume something similar if she was struck.
From the North, the way the group was traveling, a mighty gust of wind would come through, decimating trees in its path, sending a wave of nasty shards and debree, and powerful destructive winds towards her. To make matters worse, when the wind met flames, the wind would ignite, sending the flames even wider and stronger then before while adding smoke to the haze of the situation. If she could even hear over the sound of the rushing gusts, and roaring flames, she would hear what would almost sound like a child speaking at the edge of then no formed epicenter of the destructive attack.
"Right were you called it Giles!" ____ Take quickly drew her own kunai and tossed it on collision course for the one thrown at her immediately forming seals for her genjutsu. The targets would only get a moment to kai after the trigger kunai rang from the impact. Her focus from the mental clarity jutsu had additional effects other than bolstering her genjutsu. She had the added advantage of being clear of mind. She started drawing kunai and snowflake shurriken after the rushed seals for her genjutsu and tossing them with surgical precision to knock each kunai from the air, each impact clanging loudly in the area. Each impact would resonate her sound jutsu, getting louder and louder around the people, blowing out eardrums in their mind as the decibels would increase massively on each impact. . Finally when the blast was coming she would disappear in a flurry of leaves and a log to drop into the blast and be obliterated. The fiery explosion would never happen as the kunai were each intercepted. She would reappear down the road in a low crouch, hidden once more in the bushes, waiting to see if her genjutsu took effect to eliminate the opposing forces. She didnt want to think of the pain those that tried to use the great breakthrough behind her would be going through as that explosion got amplified. The four defending Soldiers / Soldeirs (one in each group) had a blue liquidly electric field appear around them, then it would quickly fade from existence. They each seemed alarmed for a moment, but only the escaping group had to see the effects of the technique. The central man dropped this knees screaming in pain as each individual motion would feel like his head was splitting apart, screaming and holding his head. The soldiers looked to each other and what appeared to be a silent consensus began to grad him deeper along the tree covered path, knowing an assassin was on the prowl. Behind them, as they moved, a dense cloud of purple smoke formed as a barrier between them and the the assassin. They had to meet back at the base.
The two that were left behind watched in horror was the wind jutsu revealed no strike, meaning that the attacker had indeed escaped. taking their weapons, they would take off into the forest, one of them using their special helmet to look for signatures in the forest. Their speed was impressive as their arms pumped in motion to give them speed, while one reloaded his weapon, placing a small white scroll in a compartment.
The other escaping group, now even deeper into the forest, would be filled with status reports about events that had just happened, and ould pick up the pace on their movement. They had to go on ahead, and they would meet up at the base.
The young Kid ninja would be sparred from the initial trigger, as the amount of disturbance of the wind jutsu would offer a great deal of disturbance and would cover the initial trigger sound. He brought a finger to his earpiece, being informed of something yet again, and move quickly in the direction of Ivi. Performing a set of hand seals, the ninja would exhale a large three headed dragon that would aim to "pincer" ivi from multiple directions: from his direction, the right, and the left. Even while his knowledge of Ivi could be considered relative, with the sheer amount of damage this thing could cause, along with the flames and the chaos, it could do the trick. Performing another set of hand seals, the ninja would would spit out a large wind made Chinese dragon that would fly up and over the trees, and move its way farther farther up between Ivi and the now purple mist, the dragon would now serve as another barrier...one that could be used with a great deal of bite.
