Looking through the guides and rules, the rule is not really listed and better than that. It has however been an enforced rule for quite some time. It will hopefully be proper listed soon.

The Sannin level AS was a bit of an exaggeration, but a Jounin or even Special Jounin level Genin is OP

At most, I think +2 ranks should be allowed.

Also, a Genin who is able to move as fast as a Special Jounin isn't that OP, unless their opponent is an idiot. It's just about as OP as a Genin being as fast as a Chuunin, except only a bit faster.

Lastly, I've never seen anything pertaining to physical bonuses never stacking, so I stand by my opinion, it should be allowed.

You can stand by your opinion, but we stand by the crew ruling that it is NOT allowed. So please, enough of this.

I have another question then. Since the clan has +1 to physical attack power, does that mean it doesn't stack at all with my Profession of Taijutsu Specialist?

Also, seeing as what I've done is heinously illegal, I get to change my Profession AND my types-- right? (Profession depends on the answer to the first question.)

Two questions:

1. Would a C-rank bloodline technique count towards a genin's 3 C-rank technique limit?
2. For the Katon: Kaen Hisame no Jutsu (Fire Release: Incinerating Hail Technique), is there a range for how much ground gets attacked by the fireball shower or is that up to the user?

Another question, something I which I happened to notice while browsing this early in the morning. Is Sosay's set-up really allowed? According to the 'rules,' nothing stacks unless otherwise state, and how she has her character set up her Katon jutsu cost this much. Provided it's only one element, isn't this pretty much over-powered?

Katon:

Academy Level - 1 points
Genin Level - 1 points
Chuunin Level - 1 points
Special Jounin Level - 2 points
Jounin Level - 4 points
Sannin/Kage Level - 15 points

@Unrelinquished: Sorry, I don't really have the authority to tell you if you can or can't change your types, I'll have to leave that for someone else to answer

@Water Lily:
1.Yes, bloodline/clan/demon techniques are still jutsu and still count against your limit.
2. I'm can't really help with that, sorry. I'll leave that for a more experienced crew member to answer.

For starters I want to say that the rulebook is in fact outdated. There are many things that have come up since its creation, many rulings that we've had to make, rulings that were never actually written down. The rulebook is in fact getting revamped.

Despair: Sigh...I'll answer your questions in pm

Does a reaction speed bonus and a speed bonus stack; as in Taijutsu specialist base benefit and tactical ninja type?
PostPosted: Sun Apr 10, 2011 3:48 pm

Reaction speed and attack speed are two different things, so they would not stack anyway.

@Lilly: It says the range is 4-5 meters under the jutsu description.

What I meant was can they be combined in the same RPC or whatever. So I can take that as a yes? Also, is it one base benefit or all base benefits of a profession? I've seen varied versions in the profile acceptance thread and it's got me confused confused

Kaen Hisame no Jutsu (Fire Release: Incinerating Hail Technique)
Description: By focusing their chakra into their hands, the user can then lift them skyward and create a salvo of small fireballs that will rain down all around them, incinerating anything they touch. Since the fireballs have no solid state, they can only do damage by burning things. These fireballs are about half the size of one's closed fist.

Where does it have the range Gregar? eek

Ahh, I'm sorry, I misread it to say incendiary, not Incinerating. But considering incendiary is a chuunin rank jutsu, and has that range, I believe the same could be applied to this.

@May: Yes, they can be used on the same RPC. As far as base benefits, some professions have more than one base benefit. If your profession has that, you may take both. As far as weaknesses and rank benefits, however, you may only choose one.

Oh, I wouldn't say that. If he really wants to take both weaknesses, would you stop him?
