Kai didn't look at Kuroi after the prince spoke, but he did walk backward toward the group so he'd be ready to leave when they were.
Skye too moved closer to the group while keeping watch.

"I'm fine for now. But I know it will hurt later." Melodys energy drained at a steady rate now that she was using a fraction of mana on keeping herself conscious. Kuroi's orders were louder than usual in her head. "Debido, don't worry about me. Just focus on your water."

Harmony didn't think anything.. she tried to keep her thoughts to herself.. She clearly didn't want to have been involved in all of this, and so far she thought of herself as simply one who was pulled along because she was near someone who someone wanted to kidnap--wrong place at the wrong time type of situation.. It seemed to be her way of coping..
Sugar took a step towards the door, "It won't be long until they get through.. I can give us a bit more time though but we should hurry with this rescue.." She put her hands on the door and closed her eyes, the fire spirit releasing herself from Sugar, causing Sugar to fall backwards, clearly asleep--most likely due to allowing the fire spirit to take control for so long.. The fire spirit touched the top of the stone door, causing it to heat up just enough to turn it bright red but not enough to melt it.
Shina whimpered a little in her hellish nightmare.

Kai muttered a silent curse when Sugar fell and went to pick her up...one really good thing about his blood ability was that he didn't need to use his hands.
Zemes moved over and knelt by Shina and placed a hand on her forehead, "Shh, everything is alright my dear...the others are fine..from how things feel they're almost done...it won't be much longer.." the earth spirit said in a soothing tone.

As the door opened, another loud explosion could be heard from the throne room, and the shaking increased. "Everyone hurry up!" Kuroi ordered as he rushed over to the captives. "Don't worry, you're safe with us." he said to them.
Yuure quickly floated over and waited for the rest of the group to gather.
Debido nodded to Mel's response before carrying her over to the group.
Chronos nonchalantly walked over to the rest of the group, glancing at his pocket watch as ifwaiting for something.

"Cmon!" Xepher pulled the girls over to Kuroi and vanished. Shadows surrounded the group in a pentagram shape just as the guards broke through the door. Burnt corpses from Sugars wrath littered the ground. "Yuure, get them out of here before my shield dies." His voice could be heard echoing through the dungeon, but he was no where to be scene, putting all of the energy it took to keep a physical shape into the shield.

Kai went over to Kuroi and the others carrying Sugar, sending over his blood vines to make another shield, "You're coming to shadow stalker..." He might not really know the guy, but he didn't want to leave anyone left here.
Skye was alrealy close enough to the others and shot off a few arrows just before the shield was formed, hitting a few guards as they were coming through.

Xepher read Kai's lips from his hiding spot in the shadows. Light from the Sugar's fire spirit helped the shadows become more definite. A shadow shaped like X darted over to the guards, and slit their shadows necks on the ground. The guards gripped their necks and fell as if what happened to their shadows actually happened to them. "No. I can only keep the shield alive from the outside. But just remember, as long as the shadows are there, so am I." The guards who noticed were confused and began to run around aimlessly. But others continued to hack at the shield. "Better hurry Yuure."
"Wait.. What about the.. the King?" Melody tightened her grip on Debido as she felt more light headed. "What about revenge? We have to kill the..."

Debido looked to Melody with a small grin. "I think that other cat dude has that covered." he said in response.
Yuure closed her eyes for a second before they snapped open, rolling back, her hair flailing wildly in a ghost-like fashion. Within a few seconds the rest of the group started hovering and their bodies turned translucent. "Follow me." she said before sinking into the ground.

The fire spirit had returned to Sugar's body just in the nick of time, a split second before they all became translucent. Though she did not possess Sugar this time even though Sugar was unconscious--perhaps she believed Sugar needed her rest...
At the earth spirit's words, Shina seemed to calm a little, though she continued to whimper a little--something that from her words, she may never stop doing..
Harmony watched the woman sink into the earth like a ghost and though only two people could hear her ---one not of her knowledge, Melody, and the other being Xepher, she thought, 'Now I know I must be in some nightmare..'

Kai didn't really like the feeling of going through the floor....but he held onto Sugar and followed the ghost girl... displeasure was clearly shown on his face.
Skye didn't seem bothered and followed Yuure's lead.

Xepher made his way to the exit of the tunnel, leaving behind a trail of freshly killed guards, and hopping over Sugars old burnt ones. But now it was time for the real boss. "Alright, lets see who this Dai Wei guy really is." He pushed open the exit which was the secret door behind the kings thrown.
Melody succumbed to unconsciousness.

As Xepher walked in, Dai Wei and the king were in full view. Dai Wei was holding off Zeng Hen's 5 pointed crimson spear with large claws made out of dark mana.
Zeng Hen, noticing an odd shadow and recognizing it as a technique of the Shades, shot a blast of mana at him while shouting "Damn it! They escaped!"
Dai Wei quickly raised his free hand, his wrist up high and hand straight down in a sharp ark. As he did, what seemed to be a battle puppet much like the one Zeng Hen and Kuroi use rose from the ground and took the blast. "Xepher get out of here! Find Melody and escape while you can!" He said before spinning to the side, dodging the spear and slashing at Zeng Hen to act as a decoy.
