"Spider-Man... some dude swinging from webbing. Saw him a few months back. I don't know who the other guys are though... and give me a break. Most of my info is second-hand." Sarah said to Sabertooth, and she folded her arms and huffed.

Victor smiled a bit more and relaxed his stance. "Then I suggest you do a bit more nibbing before you go around kicking people in the face." he replied.

"Good luck getting to them." he replied with a small smirk. "And I'd like to think of it more as rescuing. Wouldn't matter if it was the Kingpin that came straight to my door. I can't in all good concious let a kid and his mom get killed. And I'm not going to compromise my girl's work because I refused to go with them."

Sarah just stared. "You're not the Saberooth I've heard about. He'd probably eat a mother and kid... So what are you? Some... what are they called? Alternates?" she asked. "Or are you just pulling my leg?"

"From my understanding, I'm the "good" versoin of the Sabertooth everyone knows. But that's probably because the would was a little more apocalyptic and the majority of the heroes and villains were dead where I'm from." he replied.

Sarah frowned. "So... what's this little job have to do with those Mafia guys? If you're a hero I'd assume you wouldn't want to work with them, but... I admit, even I'd probably put aside my hatred to save a family," she said.

"The guy's family was kidnapped by someone. They think it's Bullseye. Guy's the best marksman around. They came here thinking I was the "other" Sabertooth. I wasn't about to have them compromising anything my girl is currently doing, so I went along with it. I couldn't really say no about the kid and everything, so...figured I could do the job, get some rent money from it, and get an eye in on their whole world." he replied quietly.

Sarah was silent for a moment, thinking over what he had said. After a long beat she said, with a rather determined look on her face: "Then I hope you can work with a partner. I despise Mobsters; it's because of them that I became a vigilante. But I'm not about to let a mother and kid die because of it."
She then held out a hand, her expression not softening. "I'm Black Dove."

"Well, I need to drop this off at the flat, then see about locating Bullseye or the missing family." Sabertooth said as he picked up his bag again and began walking down the hall again. "You need any of this to help with equipment or anything?" he asked, jerking the bag of money he was carrying.

"Not really. I've got some contacts and that's where I got my stuff," Sarah replied, pointing to the sleek-looking utility belt she had on her. "I'm not Batman though, so I don't have a whole plethora of gadgets. Just the basic smoke bombs, a few shurikens, and some bolos. Don't need a grappling gun due to my parkour skills; in the same amount of time it'd take a guy like Batman to use his grappling gun to get up to the roof of a three-story building, I'd have used free-running to get all the way there."

"Not bad." Victor replied, continuing down the hall and up the stairs again. After a few flights, he came to the level he needed and walked down the hall toward's Skuld's door.

Sarah decided not to follow Victor, instead keeping lookout, looking down at the first floor of the apartment. She saw a group of men, five in total, come into the apartment, and she could tell just by their hushed tones and quiet movements that they were up to no good. She glanced at her stopwatch and set it; this was something she often did, timing herself to see how quickly she could win various fights. She decided to make a dynamic entry, sliding down the stairway banister to the first floor... and she immediately leaped from her slide, using her momentum to propel her, and she dropkicked the nearest mook to the ground, rolling as she landed and popping up in a defensive stance.
Her instincts were proven right: The men were armed. One of them pulled out a crowbar and swung at her, Sarah just ducked low and swept her leg out, tripping the guy up, and then sent her boot to his face after he landed, breaking his nose in the process. Two down, three to go. Unfortunately, these guys had caught on and apparently at least had some hand to hand experience, as she found herself on the defensive, dodging wide swings and a few kicks. Sarah deftly spun on her toes, grabbing a nearby vase on the front desk and, again using her momentum, smashed the vase into the face of the nearest thug, breaking the vase with a loud CRACK! The next man to go for her lunged at her with a knife, which Sarah barely avoided. She grabbed his knife arm and twisted it, causing the knife to fly out of the man's grasp, and gave him a few solid kicks to the face for a lights-out.
The final man, however, was the biggest and toughest of the all. He grabbed Sarah by the arm and slung her around to the nearest wall, stunning her for just a moment before grabbing her arms and pinning her to the wall itself.
"Hey beautiful..." he said, breathing heavily; his breath stank of alcohol and something else; probably some bad Italian food. "You're a fighter... I like that...."
"You do? Then you're gonna love me!" Sarah hissed, headbutting the man with the back of her head a few times before he loosened his grip. He pulled out a knife of his own, and Sarah dodged a few swings, swinging around toward the desk and leading him on... and when they got close enough, she tripped him up and grabbed the back of his head, slamming it down onto the front desk. She then pried the knife from the man's hand and stuck it in the muscles below his shoulder blades. The man screamed in pain and recoiled, falling to the floor and hurriedly begging her-- or anyone-- to pull the knife out. Sarah silenced him with another swift, hard kick to the face.
"Didn't even need my gadgets," she said, looking at her stopwatch. "49.6 seconds," she murmured happily. "A new record for a five-on-one brawl."
