Ballsy. I've done my research as well, but stepping up with PT in a one minute match is crazy enough. Add onto that Ivysaur's recovery is completely negated by edgehogging, that changing can't be done in the air and takes so much time, and that this is your first time playing...
I dunno, PT just seems like the kind of character you'd have to get used to.
I was thinking about playing Olimar, but I'm pretty sure I'd get my a** handed to me. :XP:
Though if you kick a** your first time with PT, you freaking rule. xd

Oh I plan to.
And don't get me wrong. I'm not just going to stick the 'counter balance' pokemon.
There's also factoring in the strategy:
Squirtle first to annoy them, possibly a KO with his up smash.
but if the damage percent gets too high, or they have to much range, go ivysaur! Bulletseed is amazing.
And if my damage gets in the 100% +, hello charizard! The heavy recovery beast!
3 jumps and a glide? Hell yeah.
There are a lot of factors to look at, but I got them down in my head i believe.
I don't have to worry about stamina, at least! XD
