A single tear rolled down his cheek. Why couldn't they have shot me... Then he heard Amnity's voice, and was snapped back into reality. Wait... she didn't die. Why am I so sad? He jumped up, and turned around, shaking off the single tear. "Oh, hey Amnity! I see you got my note..."

Jacob sauntered in, MG42 swaying slightly. He'd found an easier way to carry the heavy ammo cans, and they swung at his sides. "Amnity! What'd I say 'bout leaving alone? Ye know the orders, and it pays to have backup!" he said, moving towards the group.

Amber was glad that Amnity was glad to see her again, after all, she'd been alone since her boyfriend, Jaffar had died. He'd been a hunter here and though she wasn't exactly a new hunter here, she'd just decided to start all over and be a new hunter here. Leadership seemed to be lacking as she hadn't seen William around and she'd caught news that he along with his co-leader Krii'Ouse were missing. Amber had figured it was time to come back to help out the hunters and their dwindling numbers and Aiden had wanted her to come back to face her demons and be with people.
When Amnity turned her attention to Mephlius, Amber also waved to him with her friendly upbeat smile. "Hi there," she called with a friendly voice, "Mephlius!" She continued searching for Amnity's hat, wondering why the lake was broken through since it should have been frozen still. "Uh, it looks like someone was drowing here or something," Amber decided to comment on the situation.
Aiden merely stood in place and then wandered off. He always kept an ear out in case Amber needed anything. She was able to fight herself but he still watched out for her anyhow. For whatever reason he was protective of her and it was an odd behaviour for one so cold-hearted such as him.

Amnity looked at Jacob and pouted, "AWW!!! I have back up! Look! these guys are hunters! And Mephlius is here! Can't A person look for her hat in peace?"
Amnity then heard what Amber had said, that someone was drowning. Acting on instinct she pushed Amber back away from the crack. "Stay here! hold my weapons." she said to her, handing her her revolvers and grenades before diving into the freezing cold ice water.

Mephlius looked at Jacob. He took of his jacket, and prepared to jump in after her, but waited.

Amber slapped her hand to her forehead. "No, no one's drowning! It looked like someone was drowning, Amnity. There's a ton of holes in the ice like someone was walking on it or something." Amber then freaked out, seeing Amnity jump into the water. "Oh my God! Get her a jacket! She's going to get hypothermia! Get her out, get her out!"
Upon Amber's request, Aiden dove into the water, not bothering to remove his clothing or hunting gear and brought Amnity back up to the surface, bringing her back to her coat. Meanwhile he picked up the hat that'd been under water, the one Amnity had been looking for and handed it to her.

"Your hat's at the infirmary!" Jacob shouted, sitting down. He sat the machine gun between his legs, and rested his head against the barrel.

Mephlius ran over to give Amnity his jacket as well.

"MOTHER F***ER IT'S COLD!!!!!!!" Were the first words that came from her mouth as her head came to the surface. Dumb a** of course it's cold!!! You just dove into freezing water! Amnity began arguing herself. She was pulled back to shore and was ready to thank whoever helped her but her words got caught in her throat. She stared up at Aiden, blinking a few times before uttering the words, "...Thank...you?"
Amnity shivered a bit as she took both of the jackets they offered. She coughed a bit in her hands, her lungs felt like fire. Not good. The hunter didn't want to look down at her palms, because she already knew that there would be blood in them. She closed her fists to hide it.
