Kamahl smiled a little as she quickly sat down. With a finger, he moved some hair out of her face so he could get a clear look at her.

One blue eye and one brown eye peered at him. As the rain continued it weighed down her hair forcing it to pool around her and cascade over her thighs.
She looked up at him...all 7 foot something. Bewilderment still caught her senses and her fulse beat in a funny rythym threatening to leap from her veins when he touched her hair.

Kamahl leaned in close to her, as if he were going to kiss her. He stopped for a moment...thoughts still going through his mind. He slowly took off his hat and placed it on the ground. (close...6'7" to be exact but...whatever)

Her eyes widened and she watched him remove his hat...
Her left eyebrow went up.
((ooh sorry i took long...i was called downstairs lol siblings..i swear))

Kamahl hesitated and backed off. He sat there looking at the ground again.

"You dont have to pretend." She muttered... and leaned back.
"It's alright." Something tightened in her chest and every fiber wanted to flee again...embarasment flaring in her cheeks...

His face was a deep shade of red right now. Kamahl tried to hide it from Lin as he sat down on the bench. He sat in silence. ((I know....it's ginormous for me. I'm about 5'11" in real life.))

She stayed on the ground and let the rain overtake her again. She flopped onto her back and stared up at the sky dizzy with sensations.
She flashed back to a time when things were simpler.

"Why do you get all the boys." Jenavive Joked.
"Because Im the pretty one." Estelle jabbed back and they burst into laughter....*********
You were right, She thought.
"You should see the sky Kamahl, its beautiful."

"I saw it...a bit different than what I see at home. But it's still not as beautiful as you...I mean....errr...."
Kamahl slapped himself upside the head for saying that.

Lins eyes widened and she sat up rather quickly hearing the slap...
"You think Im beautiful?" She said without thinking and slid her knees up to her chin...." I mean.." She stammered
"Chip said I was a discrace to everything Lycan...that I was the ugliest thing they ever saw..." She half muttered under her breath...

Kamahl nodded in reply.
"I heard that...and whoever he was, he is obviously wrong."
He kept his gaze on the sidewalk.

She leaned forward and half crawled towards him. She touched the side of his face gently and turned him towards her.
Her eyes narrowed curiously at his reactions, she had never seen anyone behave like this in her precence before. Her pulse was still leaping but as always curiousity kept her from squirming back.
"Are you ok?"

He looked at her.
"I'm fine..."
It seemed his pulse was quickening also. He could faintly hear Lin's as he sat there on the bench.

Her hand slid back slowly and she plopped back onto the wet cement. The rain was now pounding harder and she found herself looking up in awe.
"I'm going to sleep like the dead tonight." She laughed.
Her heart was still hammering and she was trying to get it to slow down..using the rain to peel the scorch she felt consuming her face and neck.

He laughed a little.
"I sleep pretty well almost every night. Surprising since my cot is of regular size for the most part. It can be quite comfy though."
