He ordered a lighter drink from the bartender and waited for him to set it down so he could take a swig. Then he took a quick glance at the woman next to himI wonder why suck a nice looking girl is in this place?he though to himself again taking a drink. Zame decided to make the first move "I can't help but wonder why a nice person like you could be here?" he said turning his body slightly towards her to get a better view.

Shizuna slowly raised her blue eyes from staring dismally out the window. The man had noticed her after all. A slow smiled curved her lips as she answered, "Wouldn't you like to know? Maybe I just wanted a drink."
Elusive as she appeared to be, she couldn't help but the give the man a quick once over from a closer perspective. He was tall, dark, and well built. She noticed the long hair flowing behind him with concealed awe. Stealing a glance at his eyes, Shizuna noted that there was more to him than appearance - most likely anyways.

He was intrigued by this mysterious woman and he replied "I just pictured a woman like you in a classier establishment, and water isn't much of a drink..." zane trialed off and looked at his own drink smiling a little. He got a better look at the woman from her reflexion in his glass, she was very stunning, and had soft eyes. "So to answer your question I guess I am a little curious to know your story" he again looked up at her smiliing this time.

Shizuna motioned for him to sit and continued with a shrug, "Ended up in the town when someone teleported me here. He's out somewhere fighting or something. I'm not really sure, but I ended up here drinking water and talking to a stranger." She was not really the kind-of person that droned on about her sad history in front of a complete stranger. This was merely the past two days of her life, "What about you? What brings you here?" The bartender had refilled her glass with a dark red liquid that was fruit-flavoured. 'Not bad...' Shizuna thought to herself with a small smile etching her face.

Her words were addicting, like blood on some nights, and he drank in being in somone presence. "he took a small sip and replied "Thats an interesting story, and as for me, well I;m a wonderer you could say and I usually go wherever my feet take me." he paused for effect you could say and resumed "I guess something drew me into this place so that why I'm here."

"A wanderer, huh?" Shizuna repeated, thinking of her own wandering life. She hadn't really had a destination, not since leaving her guardian. "Sounds familiar..." She really had not found what she was looking for, "I kind-of want to explore the Lake of Dreams," she blurted. Realizing how idiotic she sounded, Shizuna clamped her mouth shut.

"Yeah, I guess you could call it that" he replied. "Oh...how is it familiar?" he was curious now even more about this girl. "...and the lake I've never been there myself but i have definately heard some stories, none good, about that place" He took another drink and wonder to himself Who is this strange girl...

{[ It's all right. I was out for lunch anyways. I won't be on until tomorrow probably because I have company over tonight so this will be my last post for the day. ]}

"I'm kind of a wanderer myself," Shizuna replied hesitantly, "I've been one since I left my guardian when I turned 18. So it's been 2 years since I started on my own little journey. I can't say I've stayed in once place for more than two months at a time," she paused to take a sip of her drink, "I guess you could say that I'm trying to find myself." She swirled the straw in her drink around watching the spiral that formed in the liquid's center. "The lake itself is pretty mesmerizing. I wasn't that close to it, yet I felt its lure..."

tic_tac_joe Osiris gestured at the destruction caused by Hope's energy ball. "See that? I'm sure you don't want that to happen to the villagers here." He looked at Shade, then raised his hands and let his claws slide into their holsters on his arms. "Let's call a truce until we're away from town. Deal?" He walked over to Netas, hands still slightly raised. "Very well, I have somewhere else to be anyway." He turns to the rest of the group. "Everyone, I believe it's time to go."

"It would appear I have unwanted guests running around in my city. Anybody who comes across them are ordered to capture them alive. Except the dragon, I have enough of those." Twilights mental command echoes in the minds of all her followers within the city as well as an image of the intruders. She smiles in anticipation and sets her gaze on one of her many crystals, eager to watch the hunt.

"Anyway why would you hold it against a staving teen." Kinsel said making his voice softer and pathetic. Even so he looked healthy. " Believe me, you don't want that. Not one of these men would be out here if we weren't used to fighting far worse than you, and so far you've done nothing that would inspire any respect for your skills." " It would seem there is no reasoning with you, very well, I'll just have to have the path to this forest blocked. That should put a stop to the raids. Put the bows away men, we're moving out!" A general groan of feigned dissapointment rises as the company puts their weapons away.

Osiris nodded at Shade and vanished.
Before anyone could react, he appeared in front of Ted and slammed his fist into the ground. A crater appeared, throwing up dust and rocks. "Your leader just called a truce," Osiris said. "That means you stop fighting, or I kill you before we really start the fight. Your choice."

Kinsel watched them tensely he did not trust them and didn't want the main source of his blocked off. "I won't let you do that." he said his voice was cold. He took a step forward lifting his dagger.

Ted did stop, death raging in his eyes. He wanted blood, and he was going to get it, but he knew what he had to do. "Fine, but you do two things first. Stop that cat from controlling Sionet, and no interfering when I fight with the other shape-changer. I demand retribution." He spun on his heel, walking over to Hope, his eyes losing the glare, being replaced by weariness. He almost collapsed, but caught himself before hitting the ground.

Netas' ears stood up as the new command rang through her mind, and instantly she was upon the unconcious Hope, easily tossing her onto her shoulders, then turned to the exaughsted Ted that was nearby and gave him a strong swift slap to the head with one of her dragon wings, knocking him off his feet and most likely unconcious as well. Nestas bent her panther head and scooped him onto her back as well, turning to glance at Osiris briefly; I shall take these to Twilight as ordered, you may take care of the rest if you wish. and with that she morphed into a large coal-black dragon, spreading her wings as she crouched to the ground, sprining into the air and flapping her great wings as she took off.
With a roar Xavier lept and caught Netas by her long tail with his large jaws, giving a swift and powerful tug that brought her out of the air and crashing into the ground. Xavier let her go in order to catch the limp forms of Ted and Hope on his back. Xavier trotted over to Sionet's tree and gave it a good thwack with his tail, knocking Sionet out of it and interrupting her song. He caught her as well then set the three of them onto the ground under the tree, and as he turned Netas was upon him, sending them both rolling in a mass of claws, teeth, wings and tails. They tore up the earth underneath them as they fought, Xavier pushing the black dragon off of him angrly with clawed feet. Netas bit down hard on one of his legs while she streched her wings and held onto him with hand-like paws, digging in her sharp claws between the scales as she held on, making him roar with anger and pain as the red blood began to flow.
Xavier reached his long neck to bite one of Netas' wings, shaking his head to tear the membrane then yanking hard to break the bone. Netas gave a roar of her own and tackled Xavier full-force, biting his neck with her powerful jaws as she tried to rip out the front part of his throat. Her front legs were holding him down to the ground on his back as she pulled and tore, and Xavier took his chance; he viciously clawed with all four paws at her soft underbelly, tearing and ripping until most of her insides had spilled out to stain his scales dark-blue with her blood.
Netas let go of his neck and let out a howling sound, then chomped down at Xavier's own stomach. Xavier roared painfully as the bright-red blood flowed, and clawed at her face and long neck until he had battered her off of him. Then he stood and charged at her, jaws gaping and wings spread as she stumbled, her organs trailing on the ground beneath her as dark-blue blood poured down in waves. Netas shook her head then was hit full force, feeling Xavier's jaws clamping down on her neck, crushing her windpipe and breaking her ribs as he forced all of his great weight upon her, flapping his wings a bit as he held her down with clawed tallons, both of them bleeding like there was no tomorrow.
