Mysti clutched onto him as tight as she could, ler legs like steel around his waist and her arms locked around his neck in a vice grip. However, when they were on the news van, she allowed herself to release him from her death hold and tumble merrily onto the roof of it.
"Ugh, my head..."
Clutching her forehead, she let out a groan before she felt a sudden lurch forward. Glancing upward, she saw that the light was no longer red, but green now...
...And there they were, toodling off with the men yelling behind them but having no way to catch up.
With a squeak, she latched onto Kichi again, unsure if she was gonna end up rolling off the van at any point.
"Kichi..."

"What a pleasant first day meeting someone."
Kichiro would stand firm, his overcoat blowing back behind him. His head tilted to look at Mysti.
"You seem to be full of good luck."
It was an obvious and rather sarcastic remark, all in good fun though. His hair blew back in the wind that the van created, and his hat blew back with the strap hanging on by his neck.
"Where do you come from anyway?"

She grinned sheepishly at his comments, releasing one hand from his form to scratch the back of her head nervously. But at his last comment, she blinked and shrugged.
"I don't really come from anywhere. I travel alot. I like to see new places. I hate living a redundant lifestyle."
She leaned against him more, pressing her body to his as she glanced over the edge of the roof and gulped.
"I'm not gonna fall off, am I?"
Her voice went an octave higher with that statement, a minute amount of fear in her body as she clung tighter, whimpering slightly.

Kichiro wasn't letting one of his boots off that roof, and with good reason.
"Just don't let go of me."
Crowds passed by as they went, and he could tell they were on the right way. There seemed to be more civilization. The only thing he thought was funny, was the fact that the people who wanted to interview him... had an interviewee on thier roof.
Kichiro knew he should have gotten a car or something.
Oh well.

"Alright."
And with that, she kept her silence, scooting as close as she could to him, almost practically being in his lap. She didn't seem to notice this detail, since she was currently trying to keep her mind off falling over the edge.
"Don't look over the van, don't look over the van, don'tlookdon'tlookdon'tlook."
The last bit was all mumbled together as she clutched her delicate fingers into the material of his shirt, her face buried in his chest at this point.
But then suddenly, she felt the van slowing down a bit. Turning her head to the side and peering over, she saw that the people weren't moving by so fast...
"Are we there, Kichi?"

"We are looking for a Hotel..."
Kichiro pressed his pointer finger against her cheek, which would make her eyes go towards a rather large yellow arch. It was a double arch actually, and it was shining in the sun. It reminded one of the Greek architecture of ancient times. Rather EPIC, till one's eyes fully adjusted to the light and went to the bottom of this glorious structure.
McDonalds.
Kichiro chuckled and shrugged his shoulders a bit.
"They must be hungry."
That was the only explanation he could think of.

Looking up at the golden arcs, Mysti's eyes widened with realization before she turned her head towards Kichi.
"Can we get something to eat?"
Her look was questioning with her head tilted to the side, watching him curiously with her wide azure orbs. With her long golden hair falling down past her shoulders, she felt a few wisps of her tresses playing on the front of her face.
But then deciding she didn't want to wait for an answer, she pulled away from Kichi so that she could stand on the roof. The van had just stopped, and so, she wasn't worried about faling anymore. And then without any hesitation, she jumped onto the hood of the van before leaping once more to land right in front of it.
With a happy look on her face, she began to dart past people to get inside. She hated waiting in lines.

She reminds me of someone.
Kichiro thought to himself as he watched the energetic girl jump off the roof, crystal green orbs following. His hands folded behind his back and he tread forth to the edge of the roof.
Folds of his overcoat flying into the air behind Kichiro, he landed on the ground without a sound. He'd be inside before Mysti, as he took out the step of going towards the hood. The Hostess "Hello sir, welcome to McDonalds. How can I help you?" The hostess asked with wide eyes, obviously mechanical in her response to the large man with the sheathes. She was looking back up at him, since he was 6'5" with those boots on him. The poor red-head was only 5'4" and was in a red McDonald's outfit. "I'd like a chicken salad. Thanks."The Hostess "W-...will that be all?" She broke herself from the daze, punching in the order and looking back at to the co-workers. She gave them that OMG look that everyone knows, her hair barely moving in the net that protected the food. Aftwards, she was giving Kichiro that pleasant smile we all expect. Kichiro was ordering what he wanted.
"And.. a water."
He'd tilt his head, eyes passing underneath the straw hat to look back at Mysti.

Blinking a few times as they got inside, she bounded over to where Kichi was, waiting for him to finish his order before coming up behind him and smiling at the lady.
"Can I have a McChicken, fries, and an M&M McFlurry please?"
She grinned sheepishly as she glanced upward at Kichi before nudging him with his shoulder.
"...I think she wants you."
Watching as the woman behind the counter turned bright red and began to stutter, Mysti burst into a fit of giggles, covering her mouth so that she could hide most of them.

The Hostess. "That will be 50 GG pieces." The hostess asked Kichiro with a bright smile, noticing that more customers were coming in. It was about time too. Everyone seemed in a rush to get somewhere else, and there was hardly any buisness. She blamed it on that damn tournament, clogging traffic and all. "No problem."
Kichiro nodded to Mysti, hand sliding into the satchel at his right side and pulling out the necessary equivalent to fifty. With how long he'd been around, working for the emperor and for Lu Bu, it wouldn't really be that big a deal. Still, it was pretty high up compared to last year's prices.
Damn inflation.Have it your way. It wouldn't be long before a co-worker of the hostess was placing a brown bag ,with greese from the fries on the bottom, on to the counter next to the serving cashier. "Of course mam. That will be 85 GG." The hostess said pleasantly to the girl, and then promptly turning red to her comment. She didn't stutter though, there was nothing to say. Instead she just went about her duty, punching in the order. "Oh behave you silly girl."
Kichiro moch reprimended Mysti, placing the GG pieces on the counter for Mysti before either her or the hostess could refuse. With a Ding of the register, her order would be coming right up.
Kichiro smiled down to the two, shrugging his shoulders in response to why he paid for it. In all honesty, it was because he could.

Blinking a few times as she saw that he had paid for her meal, she turned to him with her eyes narrowed slightly.
"You know, I do have money!"
Even though she knew it was just a moment of politeness for a man to pay for a woman, she still seemed to hate it for some reason. Crossing her arms stubbornly over her chest, she saw her bag and drink presented to her and took them quickly.
Nibbling on her lower lip, she turned and headed out of the door, glancing at Kichi once to see if he was following her.
She wasn't sure where she was going, or where they were going to eat, but for some reason, she didn't want to stay inside.

"OF course you do."
Kichiro watched her snatch the bag and stomp off. He looked at the hostess and McDonalds worker staff rather confused. He could only think of one word as a response, considering it was normally polite for the man to pay for the woman in almost every culture.
"Gaia."
With a twirl of his overcoat, Kichiro would follow behind her with his bag of Chicken Salad in a black container with the clear lid. His other hand on the paper cup of water.
"I'm coming."The life of a Gaian worker. There was a few nods to Kichiro's one word response. Whenever anything that wasn't typical or normal happened, they were reminded of the world they lived in and forced to accept it as normal. The hostess merely shuffled her feet and went on to the next customer. "May I help you?" That's the life in the fast food lane, in a world where dragons fly overhead and Dodge Vipers zoom down the street. "Coming right up miss..." The hostess looked at her with wide eyes at the order... punching it in none the less. "Where are you going? We don't want to lose our ride."
Kichiro pointed to the roof of the van, where the newscrew was still looking for the girl that had jumped on their hood a moment ago. They were about to come around to the side where Kichiro and Mysti were.
"Eh..."
Kichiro sprung his legs, carrying his food up with him. He landed rather gracefully.. but...
"Here, give me your stuff... quick."
Kichiro placed his stuff to the side, leaning down and dropping his hands to get her stuff. Then he'd of course, try to pull her up before the newscrew got wise to what they were doing.

"Eh... That's not enough mam. That's only enough for one supersize fries and a large cola."
The hostess was quick to cancel the order, tilting her head.
"What do you want to do mam?"
She asked, not use to this kind of situation.
