Xiterrose Xiterrose rolleyes It just breaks my heart. I mean about that girl talking about evil Christians and whatnot. sweatdrop best line ever. WHAT DOES JESUS HAVE TO DO WITH CHRISTMAS? wonderful. that's totally out of context, but once my friend said it, we both burst out laughing because, what does Jesus NOT have to do with Christmas? Then someone said there should be a St Patty's day celebration in gaia and it was argued it's too religious (green beer and leprechauns....oh yes...so religious....) and it has the word "Saint" in it. I was thinking, well how the heck do they justify CHRISTmas?

was that Anna? the christmas thing not the kelly thing. wait, it was kelly, right? i'm so glad i wasn't in honors. sitting in front of her while trying to have a serious discussion about God must be frustrating. she gave me a quarter once though because i was a quarter short and you weren't there to make the machine work. guess there's good in everyone.

Yeah....twas her...I haven't seen her for a long, long time. Tip: Thank it in Italian. Be nice to it and do not, I repeat, do not kick it. This sounds crazy, but consider this....it takes every crumpled, ripped, shredded bill and every rusty coin from me, but won't even take nice, new, clean ones from lots of people. Maybe there's a little italian guy working it, lol. Be polite to that machine and I guarantee you will be treated accordingly by an inanimate object. Wonder if the karma system works in school? secret code word of a secret society maybe. Say it and you get your food, and sometimes extra change. And it won't steal an extra ten cents.
Absurd thanking a vending machine? You'd think so. but it works. Only in Italian, I've tried French and it didn't go so well, in fact, it just spat the money right back out.
Can vending machines become posessed? If so, there it is!

Wow... interesting things happened...
as for grudges.. yeah. something i've been thinking about. cuz, there's this guy who i adopted as a gaian son last year. he was one of my very first.. considering i've had like 20+ gaia kids by now... anyways... one of them started a huge drama at my coffee shop a while back... and sent in this hussie little girl to troll in the coffee shop... saying stuff to tick people off and flame her so she could get our shop locked up for flaming... stare I was very angry with him. I felt so betrayed.... I felt so dishonored by his behavior. Really.. but, some time has passed.. and he's made his public apology. and i've made it clear that he has to earn some respect this time around... but, in my heart I have forgiven him. However, because his actions didn't affect just me but our entire gaia family. I am limiting his activity in our family's circles. As he can show the others that he is truely repentant, more will be reopened to him. Josh is sooo frustrated that I forgave him. He asks why I did it; cuz Toffer didn't deserve forgiveness. He was totally out of line and didn't deserve a second chance cuz he's pulled stunts like this before... but... ya know. There are several people in my life who are like Toffer. They don't ever deserve half the kindness I show to them. But, the issue isn't whether they deserve it or not. The issue is we are all sooo unworthy of the forgiveness Christ gives to us. Let us not forget his parable about the king and the taxcollector... where the man owed the king a large amount of money. and the king was gonna have the man judged... but, the man pleaded for mercy on account of his family. Well, the king did have mercy. But, after he left, the man went out and harrassed another guy who owed him something... showing no mercy. When the King heard about this, he had that guy thrown into prison... for that guy took no lesson from the mercy shown to him. Likewise, Christ is that king.. and we all are that man.. and we all have someone who we feel owes us something.. but, we need to always be quick and plentiful of mercy. If we run out of mercy for others, it may run out for us. IN the Lord's prayer, the line goes "and forgive us our tresspasses, as we forgive those who tresspass against us." This statement spoken by Christ himself reflects that our mercy and forgiveness from the Lord is heavily dependant on our ability to forgive and be merciful to others.
As for this one other girl from the other guilds.. I wouldn't say it's a grudge. I just don't like her period. Her behavior vexes me soo... I mean.. there just isn't anything about her that I like.. In fact, I have a hard time finding anything nice to say around her... which is why i've taken a leave of absence without notice from the parents guild.. I am trying to limit the places i have to deal with her at.... I want to overcome that.
I went through something like this at work. And, I just kept praying and giving it to the LOrd. and recently a rumor is going around that she might be leaving our store soon for something else. If this is true, this would be such a way of seeing the Lord work... so.. I overcame evil with good... and was able to render the girl at work kindness for her phoniness.. and hugs for her nagging of me... and tho she vexed me daily.. I just kept praying and taking my issue to the Lord. I guess Jesus is letting me play out a similar lesson with the girl on gaia. I did well enough in real life... now for the internet. xd
as for the panty thing.. they just turn in their results. they are posting in a thread when they get some. last time i checked, he had 7 adn she had 9. but.. i'm pulling in my big guns for him..
in other things.. i've been making these dolls at a site called candybar doll maker. if anyone wants one, let me know.

Hey, Lyme.. I was just thinking about a scripture.. and i went to find it. I foudn it.. and then looked at a few before it. and it really just goes right in line with something i was talking about earlier... the Lord is just really working with me on how to treat the people we feel less inclined to entreat. and, i feel compelled to share this scripture with you also..
this is romans 12: 17-21 17. recompence to no man evil for evil. provide all things honest in the sight of all men. 18 if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, [this is the part that's for me and lyme xp ]but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20. Therefore, if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
We need to pray together Lyme. we'll be prayer partners that Christ will help us both to not be overcome of the spiteful thins people do to us that anger us so.. even if it is a righteous anger... that we might learn how to submit such things to him. Because if we can live as this tells us, that is holiness... and that is the way of Christ.. it is the very essence of all his ministry taught. I know I"ll be praying. Cuz, the Lord has been working on me with such issues since november... work in progress I am I suppose... rolleyes 3nodding oh yeah. now that i'm on this roll.. i'm also thinking of psalm 37. fret not thyself because of evil doers. neither be thou enviest against hte workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass. and wither like the green herb. skip a few verses and goes into: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. cease from anger and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
the whole chapter really is good in that sort of instruction... man. but boy am i tired now.. so i need to go to bed. but, just in case you come in the morning and read this... just be encouraged. Let's be overcomers...

Wow, thankyou, that's a wonderful idea. Lol, it's so...calming. Nick used to get so mad at me. Part of why he couldn't stay with me, I kept forgiving Justin. Nick was...special in that he gave no second chances. He couldn't comprehend how someone could slap me and I'd be able to forgive easily. Actually he used to scream at me because I'd go on to help the guy with homework. Maybe Nick knew something I didn't, and now that I think about it, it was a bit stupid of me, but....eh. Stupidity is my middle name. When I was little and I got angry, I used to read my children's bible because I couldn't read the real one yet, and it made me feel so much better always. Anyone who says the bible is bogus needs to read it. There is no way a book that powerful is a bs story strung together by crackpot fools. It's too true, it's too powerful, it's too...wonderful. Especially for that time period, it is an extremely healthy, life-prolonging way to live physically, not to mention spiritually. You could take God out of the bible (well you can't, but just bear with me) and use the teachings and the same people who denounce it now would be like, well of course, that's how it works. Sorry, lol, the bible amazes me at times.

Yeah. I agree with that idea in the fact that I also think most people would love the bible if God were removed. That including all the names of him and his being the person of Jesus Christ also. Without that, people would love the bible. But, it's nothing new for people to despise our Lord. Haven't they even since the days of the philistines? or the days of noah even? or in teh days of abraham? especially during the silent years.. where the tales of heroism comes from Judah of the maccabbes. their reason for celebrating hannukah....

People have rejected God since the dawn of man...adam and eve, briefly, caine, it's....I think a lot of it is people don't like the idea of there being something higher to answer to. Humans have a lot of arrogance as a whole, and to think of something more powerful is almost a blow to your pride, well, to some people. Can't admit there is a God because that would be admitting they are not the supreme beings. This is why these people tend to have rotten luck; by blocking off a whole aspect of life, they have sealed their fate to remain in a loop of constant human flaws. At least in my observation, but I'm weird. It's kinda sad. I don't feel so sorry for them as the people they drag in with them.

Well, in addition to all you said.. to admit there is a God... even more specifically to believe in who Jesus is and was and ever will be... then, that also creates a situation of conscience and convictions in them. and I think most people don't want to be convicted or feel bad about doing anything.. so, in their hearts and mids.. they take him out of the picture.. sort of like an out of sight; out of mind kind of thing...
this is like.. at hte warriors for christ guild. a girl was posting in prayer requests about her friend who chooses to remain apathetic towards any belief in Christ, heaven or hell.. not believing in anyof them. I told the girl that just because her friend chooses to deny any belief.. that attempt to make oneself guilt-free is just a lie to yourself. Because in the end, she'd still go to hell even if she chooses not to believe it exists. The truth is out there... if people want to accept it or not will not change what the truth is. the truth is steadfast and immoveable... and is not so easily got around just because you think you're witty enough to just say you don't believe it.
I mean.. if someone has enough faith to say.. that if they disbelieve something enough; it won't affect them. That is a sort of inside out kind of faith.. just working in the opposite way it's supposed to. The fact they can put that kind of effort into it backs up the fact their heart has a capacity to in fact believe... when they are ready to quit playing games: jesus will be there to welcome them into our fold.

Dragonbait Xiterrose I asked Dragonbait. Ask him, too. I have a better idea. Don't ask me; I'll tell you anyway. I have never in my life seen "Yhowshwa", or however you claim it's spelled. I have seen "Yeshua", countless times. But, that's not the same as "Yahweh". "Yahweh" is another form of "Jehovah". "Yeshua" is the original form of "Jesus". If you want to preach at us (and you obviously do), might I humbly suggest you have some clue what the heck you're talking about? And Xi's right. This is the Social Hall; it's for chatting. These mini-sermonettes of yours go in the Sanctuary. That's why we made the thing. *shake his head* Let me tell you why I say study instead of read. They same reason you tell a person to listen insted of hear. To study means to focus on it. I can take it, either I was not clear, you you just did not read carefully. So I'm going to explain it.
My name is William, it come from the German name Wilhelm, but it is said Vilhelm and is spelled that way by some. My name is made form to words. The frist part is "Wil" from the word "will" as in desire. The second part is "helm" and come from the word "helmet". Now the meaning of my name is "Bold Protector." Other spellings of my name are, Wiliam, Wiliamm, Willyam, Willyem, and Willyum.
Ok, you see how complex a name is. Now let us move on.
The name Yashua is the same why. Some people, like the Strong's dictioanry I am using on my computer, has it spelled Yhowshuwa`. Now you must remeber it is a translation and that the Romanized will very from person to person. Do not get all upset if you see a different spelling, some spell it the way they hear it. Yashua or Yhowshuwa is made up of two words like a good number of names and words. "Submarine" is an example of another word made of two words. Of course I'm sure all of you have heard of Pokemon which is made of the two words "Pokect" and "Monster."
The name Yashua, or Yhowshowa, is made up of two other hebrew words. The frist part "Ya", or "Yhow" comes from the frist part of our Father's name "Yhovah" or "Yahweh". Much like the end of Halleluyah(some spell it hallelujah) ends with our Father's name. This is why it means "praise ye Yahwevh, (Yhovah).
The last part of the name Yashua, or Yhowshowa, is made up of the hebrew word "yasha" which means "salvation". This is why the meaning behind the name Yashua, or Yhowshowa, is Yahweh's savior or as my book of names has it, Yahweh is Salvation.
And the last word I am going to cover in this post is "preach". The word "preach" means "to announce good news". I am not here preaching even to a degree of only bringing forth good news. I am teaching and the job of a teacher's job is to not only give out information, but to train people to think. Like Xiterrose question the spelling of Yhowshua, and I try to gving him the information on it. Like with Lymelady, I gave her scripture about our Father in heaven. It is His letter to us and what it says is more important then what anyone says. When we get to heaven, we will have to answer for what we said and I rather place the scripture in the post then my words. Plus I like bring it to the person, not making the person come to me.
Also Dragonbait, not that I don't like you but I didn't ask you becuase I already knew the answer. Nor did I have a problem other then I might not have made it clear for Xiterrose. I hope this post clears up what I have said.
