Ishizu broke away from Kira long enough to go stand by the door, listening. She didn't expect an answer, but at least turned to watch Kira sharply when she mentioned Ryou's name.
Nami watched as her step dad wrung his hands."What do you mean by that? The bloody bottle was next to him, and almost empty! He's not talking! How could you say that nothing's wrong with him?"
The doctor whom Ryou's father was speaking to rolled his eyes slightly. "Your son must've been taking too large of an amount of those pills than prescribed. It didn't hurt him, luckily, and he seems to be hurt mentally. I'm sorry to inform you that we'll have to finish our tests, but then he'll be sent to the asylum. There's not much we can do, since it's in his head. Now, you'll have to be questioned, so please follow that nurse over there..."

Ishizu couldn't help but get a little annoyed. She snapped, then left the room. When she got back, her voice was softer. is Ryou. He's snapped now. I bet you knew that and all, but it's true.>

Kira had grown silent as her eyes just staied blankly upwards.

It had been a few weeks and kira had grown calmer to the point were the nurces were nolonger afraid of her.She often became oddly quiet as if she wasent there.Ishizu had been informed by shora that being on sedutives that long could have a perment effect on one's brain.They had removed the cast on her arm but she still had the casts on both her legs.Kira often tried to reach out to ryou with her mind.

Kira was easily able to make contact with it all of those times. Bakura had parted with Ryou's body, but hadn't bothered to make any sort of appearance to her in the least. So his mind was unguarded, and fully open. A low sort of humming was coming, and a soft murmur of a constant voice in his mind, but nothing else.
Ishizu rented an apartment and came to the hospital almost every day to visit Kira, sometimes being just as silent as the girl was, sometimes talking about random topics. Mostly she was silent.
Khalid had also, like Bakura, refused to show his face. Nobody really knew where he stayed at night or anything, but he stayed in England. So he didn't blame Ishizu all that much when he abruptly came into Kira's hospital room one day, bursting through the door a little like an eager puppy. He didn't notice Ishizu at first, and went over to the side of Kira's bed. He frowned slightly when he saw that she didn't seem all that aware, and then positivly beamed when he turned around and saw Ishizu. "Ishizu! Bakura fixed my memories!"
Ishizu couldn't help but gawk at Khalid. Then she scoffed and tossed the book she was reading to the side, rising slowly to her feet. "Hmph. Like I'm supposed to believe you? You wouldn't even tell me when he had messed with your mind. How am I--" She was cut off by a sudden and fierce embrace from Khalid. "No! Let go..." She protested, but her voice was weakened, since she was able to tell by the clear look in Khalid's eyes that he had spoken the truth, and still felt touched by his abrupt actions.
"We're going to go see Ryou. I've found out which asylum they locked him in. Kira's coming too." Khalid said brightly, breaking away from Ishizu, but taking both of her hands in his. He was still painfully thin, but his happiness at the moment seemed to make up for that fact.

Kira's eyes darted over to khalid when he said he knew were ryou was.She slowly sat herself up and looked to the wheelchair.That was the most movement she had done on her own in a while.

Khalid couldn't help but smile a little. "Exactly what I thought your reaction was going to be," he said, his fingers intertwining with Ishizu's, who didn't pull back this time.
Bakura, however, went to see Ryou every other day. He would be cautious and watch for any signs of the boy getting better, and change that somehow. And he was careful to make sure that his hikari was being treated correctly. After a while, when he was sure that both of these things were to his liking, he wouldn't come as often. He doubted that he would stay in England after this. Back to Domino, where he spoke the language, and where he could keep an eye on the pharaoh.

Kira hated the wheelchair but it was her only way Of getting around.She reached out with her better arm and pulled herself out of bed into the wheelchair with a soft grunt "evil thing.."

"Can you push that yourself, or do you need help?" Ishizu asked, leaning slightly into Khalid's form. She didn't really want to move away from him, but if Kira needed help, she'd surely offer it.

"'Kay." Ishizu said, and then the group left the hospital easily enugh. She had to break away from Khalid after that, as he tried to remember which way to go, and then started down the sidewalk, gesturing for the others to follow.

Kira had fallen silent once more as she easily kept up with them.Her eyes seem to quietly wonder around.Still after being there a few weeks she understood no english.

It didn't take long for the group to reach the asylum. When they did, Khalid only had to speak with one of the workers there before they were lead to Ryou's room, which was pretty much an empty, white room with a bed, a chair, and a desk. There was also a window, but there were bars to stop people from leaving or entering. Ryou almost perfectly fit this scene, his pale hair and skin, along with the white hospital-like gown he was wearing. He was seated on the bed, his back leaning against the wall, arms lifelessly at his side.
Bakura rose to his feet when the three entered the room. He had, after spending a while gazing blankly at his hikari, turned his attention to the desk in front of him, where he had mindlessly been scribbling messy words. He contrasted with the room, while his hair and skin were almost as pale as Ryou's, he was clad in darker clothes, and there was a much darker look on his face. "Excuse me. I suppose you'd want to gawk at the boy on your own. You won't get any reaction, I'm afraid."

"But of course," Bakura said with a bow, quickly slipping out of the room. He didn't want Kira to get angry at him or anything. Besides, it was just as well that he leave. There was nothing to do with Ryou.
Ishizu sighed slightly as she felt her mood considerably dampened by the sight of Ryou, looking so lifeless and weak right then. She started in alarm when his head abruptly shifted slightly, so that it was like he was looking at them, had it not been for his blindfold. She wasn't sure what to think when he, just as silently, turned his head so that it was facing the wall again.
