ok ppl ive been playing clarinet for 6 yrs and if sum1 touches it i will kill them! lol but i also play evry other instrument but i luv the clarinet

Mkay, so, I've been playing the clarinet since I was in sixth grade. Currently I am in ninth grade but I get home schooled. It truly is the best instrument out there. I love it so much. I used to play the piano but I didn't like it as much as the clarinet. Anyways, the second I picked it up, I could play it, which is why I knew it was the perfect instrument for me.

I've played clarinet since 7th grade and i'm now a junior in high school. i'm 2nd chair clarinet in my concert band.

oops i didnt introduce myself! hi there. im jessica and have been playing clarinet since 2nd grade which was fairly hard cause my fingers didnt cover the holes properly D: well im in 9th grade (high school) now and am currently first chair at sunlake high school.
does anyone else have all state or all county in their home state currently?

My name is Emily and I'm a senior in high school. I'm First Chair and section-leader and I'm president of the band. Our band isn't too great (everyone lacks motivation) but we still have fun. I've been playing for about 8 years and it's been a fun run. I'll be playing clarinet next year at college, and I cannot WAIT to graduate!

being section leader is great isnt it? lol. i want to be our band captain next year but probly cant since i'll only be a sophmore! how long have you been section leader?

I feel so old reading these posts lol. I've been playing for about 10 years now. I'm all graduated from high school and what not and the thing I miss most is band. We were only a concert band due to the fact that the art programs at our highschool hated the football team because they got ALL the funding and we refused to march for them. I'll be moving on to college soon I think to take a musicianship course or something and from there off to audition for an orchestra. My mom bought we my first clarinet in grade 9 and in grade 12 for a graduation present we traded my old one in for a beautiful yamaha wooden clarient. I know one thing for sure about my life and that is I will be a band geek for life.

Hello!! I haven't been on gaia...or this...for a whole year

gonk . bonjour my clarinet friends =], I think I should reintroduce myself as I used to be pretty active in this guild...and excuse me for I'm extremely talkative

My name is miyoko ninja , I've been clarinetting since sixth grade for five years, I'm a sophomore now. I honestly love the clarinet with all my heart smile , I was in all state/all southern in middle school (oh the good ol' days!), and all southern this year. I'm in my band's orchestra, wind ensemble, mb (I might quit though next year), in two youth groups; OCYSO (orange county youth orch) and PSYWE (pacific youth w.e) =] (but I really wish I was in pacific youth orchestra and claremont) and I hope to study clarinet performance in curtis, juilliard, USC, colburn or northwestern (if i go to northwestern, it'd be double major in the above and fashion journalism..or journalism) smile

i've turned into more of an orch dork then a band nerd over the years though sweatdrop

ello :] i'm an 8th grader (going to be a freshy in about 5 months ^-^) im my middle schools band and im joing marching band as well :] clarnet is like thee best. i have tryed the fluts the saxes and the basson all couldn't compair to my abby ^-^ (in side joke between me and my friend) i have been playing seince 5th grade and almost had break down when i found out that my school might not have band next year :O but we will :]] my name is Alice ;] annd yes i tend to type alot XD
