Well, I was a little upset. I wanted to get baby rack of lamb with their yummy burgandy sauce (the lamb was actually from NZ) but they didn't have it anymore, so I got some lobster tails.

rolleyes Aussie themed.. That scares me in so many ways...

Never been there, but it scares me too.
I just read through their online menu... I'm kinda speechless at how bad it really is... It's not that hard to do a little research is it? gonk WTF is a "hooley dooley?" Are they referring to the dodge kids band or what??? neutral

You know, kangaroo and wallaby (I think that was it) are really yummy... unfortunately. xd sweatdrop

Heh I don't give a care about the Aussie theme (I do think it's kinda lame) but their food is REALLY awesome. I had the grilled lobster tails which was way better than Dead, I mean Red Lobster's crap.

Never had croc, but eaten alligator many of times, I loved it.

Tomorrow I have a pre-babysitting get-to-know-the-children appointment. But I have never really been around one and three-year-olds, and do not know how to entertain them, and the sorts of things they like. My previous jobs were with older kids, which was much easier.

I know many of you have children at or around this age, and of course, if they're not now, they were.

I could really use your experiences/advice!

Good luck. ^_^

It really depends on the children. I've only really watched 6 children. They were really annoying and extremely spoiled. So, there were a lot of time outs. They were generally surprised by the idea that some one not related to them was 'punishing' them for being bad.

I don't want to start a new thread just for this or hijack the current potty help wanted thread...

BUT

Lissa is using the POTTY! For both poo and pee! SO. HAPPY.

Hopefully her snazzy teal Nemo underpants will continue to presude her to use the potty dutifully. whee

The girls I sat for were extremely well-behaved! The one-year-old only cried ONCE! And that was because she fell, since she's just learning to walk. I might have another job today; I'm waiting for their mother to call.

You didn't watch all six of them at once, did you? O_O;.

*digs through past posts and many many pages* AH! Here it is!

-SECOND TIME THIS HAS BEEN POSTED-

HI! Hello there! Can we pay attention here for a whole three seconds? I'm afraid that the b***h Goddess aspect of me has reared her ugly head. I'm begging for something here, and I don't normally beg. So do me a favor before I go postal.

CHECK YOUR SPELLING AND GRAMMAR!!!

I understand if English is not your first language. Hell, I understand the occasional typo. We all have them. But the blatant rape and murder of the language going on lately is enough to make my eyes bleed!!! STOP IT!!!!!

In a further related rant.

Hello, sorry I haven't been around. I have been having computer problems since I've been running a system that is 10 years old. I didn't have enough memory for it to run windows xp and anything else with it. It would take my computer almost 10 minutes to boot up. So My brother got me some memory that he had and we installed it in my computer, but something happened and it killed my monitor. My monitor only shows 2" of the screen, and it is wrapped around in a cyclinder shape, We've tried everything to make it work, including the manual setting on the monitor itself. No Luck. So I've been trying to finda download of the updated drivers, but driver guild.com only has one link for it, and it is to a site in polish or another language like that which I'm not able to decipher. I couldn't find the download link on it. So I'm still searching. My monitor is so old that dell no longer has a link to a driver for it either. sad So I finally got my computer running where I can see the screen while in safe mode w/networking. I hope I can get the issue resolved soon.
