Kid

The boy stared, hearing the foreign words which sounded a bit harsh, but it wasn't harsh at all. Soo-me? He stared at Soo-me before realizing the man was speaking his name. Oh! He pointed to himself and spoke. "Yashweh!" Names! They had names down! Ah, but what about the other one? He put his hands on his hair and mimicked rabbit ears. What about that one?

"A turban with a large ruby? Definitely from the south. How far south is that though? Reta's capital, or the neighboring part, still has vegitation in certain areas. Turbans are worn in the incredibly hot areas, no?" an looked around the kitchen as Leo still spoke, slicing some bread and finding some meat. "The desert, I think. And hot drinks would be nice of you. I've no idea where the dishware is." but he heard the stomach and grinned, adding the things together and walking over. "Here you are. A fruit sandwich. I found whipped cream so I have that out. I couldn't remember if you liked it or not and I'll make you a vegetable sandwich if you don't want this." he'd made Leo a sandwich with one hand, still holding the sleeping Rin. Elliot's movement was a little awkward but he was quickly learning how to survive with one hand.

Kid

Kashi? The eyes went wide. That meant Seer in their language! And just like that the boy was speaking a mile a minute on the legends and rumors going around the Seer and how there were sometimes one or two born in a lifetime. The map was nearly ignored until Tsume tapped it. Oh, this looked like the world. He picked up the crude drawing, knowing he was here in the north. He pointed to the south east area of the map, across the water and nearly below Pathera itself, just moved a little to the left. Here. In this Retian territory. And then he started talking away again quickly.

Elliot smiled, kissing the top of Leo's head. "I'll share it with you, then." and smiled, going back to make himself one, adding meat. "You just enjoy your meal. Doing this actually makes me happy and I don't know why." Probably because servants weren't doing it. They were princes whose countries loved them and would do anything for them, and yet here was Elliot, crowned prince making quick meals.

Kid

"I've bought my journal." and held up the small paper bag. He froze though as the boy's eyes landed on him and the quick talk began going at an even more rapid pace. "D-Did I do something?"

Did Soo-me not understand the awe and amazement of even having a seer in your presence?! He was just treating the hare like, like he was a cook! A servant! A lesser caste! These people were chosen by the elders to predict the future! Chosen by elders! Soo-me understand the amazement here this rabbit held as much wisdom and information as the elders!

Elliot took a bite of his food finally, turning and leaning against the table. "Well I'd be a very lazy and incompetent leader if I couldn't do even the simplest things on my own. And I like doing things for you. I'd like to put your hair up one day if you'll let me." and chuckled. "I won't turn it into a bird's nest."

Kid

"But what's wrong with my name?" he asked, looking down at the bag and smiling. "Yea, i'm not normally used to such th--hmm?" It was a surprise kiss, a very soft one and the hare was happy to kiss back, though embarrassed at doing it in public. Kashi took a moment to regain his thoughts, licking his lips before nodding. "Nuts then home." he left the bag open, Tsume adding his things before picking up the child.

Th-They'd kissed! The seer had a lover! Was that possible?! Did elders allow that?! Wasn't it distracting?! What if it only meant that the seer saw only Soo-me's future?! But he didn't say anything, hearing Elliot and not wanting to ruin his chances of meeting the crowned prince. He'd come this far to ask for help so he couldn't lose his only chance now. But a lover, but the rabbit didn't look at all from this region either. His clothes were different. As were the wolf's.

The prince smiled, pleased that Leo would allow him to style his hair. Another bite was taken, silver eyes looking at the babe leaning against his shoulder. The observed fact made Elliot turn red, abotu to speak but inhaling a crumb, holding Rin tight and close to prevent from dropping him but head turned away as he coughed violently. Rin didn't like the rude awakening, starting to give little whines of complaint as Daddy tried not to choke.

"I-I don't," and coughed again, tears in his eyes. "I don't think I do." he said hoarsely, gently bouncing the babe before turning to cough again. "D-Does it seem that way?" and went to find himself something to drink.

Kid

Yashweh looked at the strange bag of food, stomach growling loudly before he decided to try one. Sweet and flavored with some sort of strange spice. That was all the time he had before downing the entire bag hungrily, gobbling down the first meal that hadn't been scraps.

"He must have been really hungry." Kashi said aloud, wondering if he should give the boy his own, much larger, bag. "But back home. Thank you for coming to shop with me, Tsume." and smiled before being distracted at the kid licking the inside of the bag and soon his own fingers.

Elliot shook his head, finding the water barrel and taking a cup, dipping it in before drinking, gasping. "It's all right. And I do not have a fetish! It's just, an attraction! Of some sort." He just really liked Leo's hair and ears okay?

Rin gave a fussy whine though, trying to free himself from Daddy's tight clutches.

"Sorry, sorry sorry." and kissed the babe's head, loosening his grasp only to tighten it again as Oliver made a very loud noise, teeth bared before he forced himself to calm down. "Daddy's calm. Daddy's calm. here let your mother hold you. Leo." and offered the baby who wanted nothing more to do with his father now.

Kid

Kashi pulled out money to pay for the meat since Tsume had his hands full. The hare felt bad he had to practically throw his money to prevent Tsume from paying. "I can help out too you know." he mumbled, walking up the cobblestone path which lead to the castle. "And it's okay. I don't mind. If anything we can practice my reading and writing some more."

Yashweh looked at the meat, practically drooling and working quickly to tear through that as well. This was so delicious. After so long with no food!

"I should make some tea or juice when we get back for him to drink."

Elliot sat down with his glass, drinking thirstily and still giving soft coughs, the lingering itch in his throat remnants of the inhaled crumb. "We don't have many workers from the south, surprisingly. The closest ones would be our chef, Saegthin, or Matilda, the maid with the monkey traits."

Kid

Elliot watched the two silently, rubbing his throat and nodding. "We don't want to overwhelm him. I'm sure the chef feeds him something high in calories each time he sees him just in case he doesn't eat when alone." Oliver didn't eat without permission, so that was a good precaution. "I think once he becomes relaxed, even slightly, around Saegthin you can start having him do small tasks."

The Chef had a large room which would have been uncommon had it not been for the large wingspan. He was currently asleep on his stomach and one wing was folded on the side, the other spread out completely. Many of the colors which couldn't be seen when folded tightly were now on full display. Hearing the boy had him sit up and look over curiously, listening. "All right. Thank you for waking me up." He sat up completely, stretching all of his joints before tucking his wings in tight and standing. "Let's go. Have you eaten recently?"

"You know I always wondered why we don't have darker skinned staff. Most of Alfand is dark of skin but here in Nalaenir we actually have little of that. I wonder if it's because they border Falia." and opened the side door, entering and going down the hallways quickly.

"Mr. Kashi!"

The hare stopped, eyes traveling quickly to find the noise. "Princess Annabelle!"

"Have you seen Martha? Me and Emily are looking for her but we haven't found her."

"No, I'm sorry Princess. If you give me a few minutes I'll help you look for her." and bowed, before standing and waving bye, quickly catching up to Tsume.

Yashweh could only stare. he bowed. To a child. He was the Seer! Seers did not bow they were chosen by elders! What sort of, why was he liked this?!

Kid

"Did you? I'm glad you've mastered that it's a delicious little recipe. I'll make us some light salads for us to eat, then. I've been craving something green to eat." and entered the kitchen with a smile and a small bow of his head. "I'm more than happy to help you with whatever you need." and looked over at the kettle on the stove before noticing the food in the prince's hands, or what was left of it."Would you like me to cook something?"

"Retian owned territory from all we know, that that is it." Elliot explained. "Far south to be wearing a turban with a ruby."

Kashi walked in, finding the tea and walking around Chef, or tried to until the man held him back.

"Slow down. Oliver has the tea Kashi. He prepared it let him finish." and pat the hare's head, avoiding the ears under Tsume's watchful gaze. The green eyes turned to the boy being placed down.

Ah! A patheran! Yashweh was about to speak before seeing Tsume point out Elliot. He quickly began to speak, stopping as the lynx looked utterly confused. Oh. He didn't speak the language?

Elliot sat there like a deer spying a hunter as the boy began the rapid speaking of a languange that sounded nothing like Retian. The accents were similar but the words most certainly were not. "This is Saegthin. He'll be translating."

"I'll be honest my South Retian is rusty." the cook admitted, kneeling down and slowly conversing with the boy who seemed too eager to speak. The chef was indeed having a somewhat hard time, having to think and look for words, using his hands constantly but they were communicating.
