Nightflame padded back to camp. He saw Trouttail speaking to
Cloudfang. So she's alright... He padded over to Willowpaw
knowing that she would ask about the gathering. Yet, for some
reason the apprentice stayed quiet.

 Cloudfang turned around to find Trouttail. her green eyes matched his, full of worry. "Yes Trouttail." She dipped her head to the warrior and padded out of her den.

I don't know if this may be a worry for our clan. But you may want to look into this with Starclan." He stopped "and could I think I may have gotten a message from Starclan a while ago, but I didn't understand it until now"._______________________________________". . .is another Clan's treasure."

[Frostfern padded back into camp, and sat down to wait for her mate]
[The solitary snake that Fang had sent was slowly slithering towards his prey. He hissed as the disgusting scent hit him, but kept going, wanting to please his queen as best as he could. He slowly moved forward, waiting]

Between the vomiting, he hadn't caught much sleep. He sighed. The patrol for the Gathering was back. He growled slightly. He was probably in serious trouble now, but for what? The BreezeClan cat had been stupid! And why was he in trouble? He was protecting the dignity of the border! He shouldn't get punished for such a thing! Freezeshadow I'm tired of being what you want me to be.
Feeling so faithless lost under the surface
Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
Every step that I take is another mistake to you...
I've become so numb I can't feel you there

I'm becoming this all I want to do

Holding too tightly afraid to lose control... &#######################################& [Freezeshadow looked over to Troutail who had come in.] So that was in the gathering...Purepaw dead, what's so special about this apprentice... Freezeshadow thought. [Freezeshadow looked back to Treewhisker finding him awake. Freezeshadow could see the anger flare in his eyes.] I shouldn't get into this...Freezeshadow thought. [Suddenly Freezeshadow froze up. He could hear a quiet slithering noise. He could hear the hiss with it. He let out a hiss of annoyance. The hissing he heard was making him confused. He got to his paws and padded outside. He narrowed his eyes and looked around the clearing.] This monster is good at hiding...I can't see it! [Freezeshadow could smell an unfimiliar scent. He didn't know what to do...this thing was in the heart of the camp!] "Where are you! Show yourself!" Freezeshadow yowled emotionlessly. [He looked around making sure nobody heard him.] &#######################################& Water freezes at low temperatures... Hearts freeze of lonely shadows...

[The snake smiled. He could smell the scent of a Clan cat nearby. He looked up, the sky was still dark, the stupid cat would never know. He slowly slithered forward, then shot forward, clamping his razor sharp fangs around the cats ankle]

[Redfur felt something on his hind leg. He looked at it. A snake?! Redfur attempted to shake it off.]"Ahh!! Snake!!"[While jumping on his three legs, and screaming. He fell into the river, causing a big splash.]"Ah, help! Somebody!"

[The snake smiled. Weakling he dislodged himself from the cat, and flew down the river, smacking against a rock and was flung onto land. He slithered under a rock, and tried to regain his composure. After what seemed like forever, the scaly creature, slid out from under the rock, and slithered back to his queen, his long body aching.
Fang circled her pet anxiously as he came into view]
"What happened, my poor dear!"
[As he explained to her, Fang smiled in delight]
"I'm so proud. That'll show 'em. Now, we must give them time, so they think it was just a one time thing, think that they're safe"
[Her pets nodded in agreement, and in the safety of their nest, far away from the Clans, a planned was forming]

It wouldn't be long before his siblings were next. Freezeshadow gritted his teeth and ran to Redfur's rescue. He held fast to Redfur's scruff and pulled Redfur out, getting his paws wet in the process. Freezeshadow studied Redfur once he was out. Freezeshadow noticed a bite mark on his ankle. Freezeshadow sniffed it and scented the strong scent of...snake!] So this beast is a snake! [Freezeshadow thought of telling Mosstar but decided to keep this to himself until more dangerous threats from this beast happened again. Freezeshadow dragged Redfur across the camp clearing, quickly bringing him to the medicine den.] "Cloudfang, Redfur's hurt." Freezeshadow meowed. &#######################################& Water freezes at low temperatures... Hearts freeze of lonely shadows...

Cloudfang froze, as Trouttail told her what happened. " I see. I shall do that, thank you Trouttail." Then she heard Trouttail say something about the prophecy. "Perhaps we should go somewhere private, so you can tell me it." she said. "I dont want the clan to worry too much about these things..." She whispered in the warriors ear. Just then Freezeshadow had come. "What?" She looked at Redfur. She sniffed at his wound. SNAKE! The beast is a snake! Her green eyes went straight to Freezeshadow. "Did you kill it?" she asked, hoping he would know what she meant. Her voice full of worry although she tried hard not to show it. She needed to stay strong for her clan.
