You guys want a hard bossfight. I told you play legend of freaking zelda. Most of the bosses are actually decent, unlike kingdom hearts. You don't fight the same minor characters again. Theres no huge tutorial level where it takes you eight hours to get the good part of the game. It's not just fight, cutscene fight. You have to go through well built dungeons, solve puzzles go on sidequests. And the ganon bossfight for twilight princess is my favorite ever. Placing second would be the fable 1 bossfight of course, he rapes you several times. Third being sephiroph because he also rapes you with his long a** katana.
As for the final fantasy characters/Kingdom hearts characters Here are my top five:
1.Zack: Zack was the essential he was brave strong and had honor. He went through a lot of things in life but he went through them honorably. Zack never went emo and hated the world, he always tried his hardest. He died and took an entire fleet of helicopters with him. He was just awesome. He is also the person who gave cloud the buster blade.
2.Reno/Axel
Both characters had such wit. They were hilarious which made me sad when axel died. They class more as anti-heroes and they weren't the most powerful in their series but they earned my respect.
3.Squall
He was badass and his weapon is totally unique. He had emotional problems of course but he didn't go cloud on us. I also liked his design and his badass level is just right.
4th Aerith
I liked aerith, I mean she was killed off but she played a good role in crisis core, FF7 and Advent children. Her innocence was a good comparison against the warrior of zack and the emo of cloud.
5th Genesis
He was poetic, and he had a deep story. The plot of crisis core was amazing. Genesis was part of an experiment with the cells of genova. During a battle with sephiroph pure mako energy leaked into his body and he began to deteriorate, he turned evil desperate to stop the deteriorating.
Honorable mention: Angeal
The original bearer of the buster blade, believed in honor above all else.
When he learned about his past he didn't go berserk like sephiroph instead he fought zack and thanked him for killing him.

Kingdom Hearts has it good and its bad, but from an RP stand point, a base story that gives you the option to open up entire worlds of unrelated possibilities is a fantastic concept.
if your a fan of Disney or Final Fantasy, many of our favorites have already been worked into the story,
but...
what if your a fan of other stories? Like Naruto? add a hidden Leaf World! Fan of Full Metal, Add a Central World!
And if you like Kingdom Hearts, you'd probably like the Anime Tsubasa. its CLAMPs version of KH, though i guess it would help if you are a fan of CLAMP animes... Card Captors, Magic Knight Rayearth, X The Animation, Angelic Layer...
as for our cameo from FF8, whether you prefer to call him Squall or Leon, in Kingdom Hearts he chooses to call himself Leon. and as someone who plays the KH Version of him (and with no ego I do believe I play him very well), that makes his name Leon. Insist his name is Squall if you like... but He himself choose to take that name, so doing so is an insult to everything that Squall/Leon Stands for, at least that's my opinion.

Yes I would love to see link and sora fighting along side.. they just put disney worlds in. If they naruto/mario/DBZ/Legend of zelda/Star fox command and other great places.. KH would be the awesomest game ever made..
And for the leon/squall debate..
Technically Leon from kingdom hearts is a parallel of squall..
Like FF8 is one world and Hollow bastion is another.. so to get in depth there must be a leon and a squall in that game..
I just prefer to call him squall because that is his name in the original game.. anyway anybody else wanna give their top five ff/KH characters..

I just prefer to call him squall because that is his name in the original game.. anyway anybody else wanna give their top five ff/KH characters.. yeah that's a good way to look at it, they really are two different characters. as for the Hallow Bastion thing, I actually worked that into My Leon's story. at some point during the time line he discovers that Hallow Bastion is a world created by the fusion of several other worlds, mainly the final Fantasy Worlds. his mission is to travel the multi-verse searching for objects I call "World Items" in hopes of finding a way to restore the original worlds that created Hallow Bastion.

My top five:
Sephiroth, the complete awesomeness that no other final fantasy character can stand up to. Not even that all mighty godmodder cloud.
Vincent, also one of those uncompetitively awesome people. I like how he can be a red cape, and fly around like a ghost.
Axel, just overall funny and cool.
Riku, another cool character, with his awesome pwnage keyblade that he gets.
and last, but certainly not least, Squall. He's very calm, and collected. He kinda reminds me of myself, except for the fact that I don't have a scar across my face, and no gunblade. I also don't have friends who run around and kill people with giant keys.
My honorable mention:
Zack. He isn't my all time favorite, but hey, he's cool in his own ways.

I like legend of Zelda because when I get a new weapon or item I don't spend thirty minutes without a clue what to do with it then forget it. my top five characters from square are:
1. Terra for kingdom hearts 2 final mix:he only gave me at max five seconds between his attack so it gave me one hell of a challenge.
2. Riku : I liked playing his part of chain of memories more and despite the way he act my emo radar didn't go off.
3. Axel/Reno: square knows when to use a cool sarcastic character to make everything better
4. Auron: Not many people can pull of his arm sling, while making his sword seem reasonably sized, and look an sound cool all at the same time
5.Sora: I spent so much time playing as him he basically grew on me.
