Of course, we should kill off everyone because everyone will probably experiance at least one instance of saddness in their lifetime. This is not acceptable! We must kill the human race so mother earth can be restored to her grandour.

(yes some people ACTUALLY believe this rolleyes )

There's a new thread in the ED, about Harlequins, and it's titled "Would you abort?"

When you click on it, it shows pictures of two, and I wanted your opinions on whether or not you think it would still be immoral to abort it if you were sure it would die or suffer from it.

I don't know where I stand on it, because there are only a few survivors named Hannah Betts and Lucy Betts, and two others, they are still alive and are both near 18. But Wikipedia said it's rare when they survive. gonk

So is abortion justified when this is the case?

That's how I feel, sometimes. I've wasted so much time during online the past five years, that I'd learned how to type really fast by the time I was 11, which is slightly discouraging when you think of how kids in America these days are often similar gonk

i'm not going to bother, i'm just going to get pissed off when i hear " her body her choice" and plugs her ears when someone says "dude, it's not her body, it's a seperate being" and she returns with " a fetus isn't human because i said so, an d don't want them to be! take my version of biology!"

Has any choicer ever used the argument that the placent belongs ot th emother, and since the fetus is connected ot the placenta its part of her body? I have, and I can guarantee that the placenta is not part of the woman, it belongs to the fetus.

But the placenta is connected to the woman, right? Sure, it doesn't make the fetus part of her body, but they could still use that argument. It's connected to her uterus... but then, the uterus is there specifically FOR the fetus... otherwise, it would not be there... though it is the woman's uterus... but still, it's for the fetus, as the woman has no use for it by herself... (is confused)

That much is true, how ever, the placenta and umbilicle cord begin developign after the egg is fertalised. Both the placenta and the umbilicle cord belong ot the fetus. I can show three sources that say this.

Oh, I know, my point was not meant to knock down yours 3nodding You were talking about a slightly different argument than I was, I think, but I'm not denying the placenta is the fetus's
