Nyl caught the look in Tut's eyes. Kindness...and the edge of humor. Of the thrill of a chase.
Out of here. Surprise him. Something he wouldn't expect.
She took another, larger step toward the door. The wind picked up, and with a combination of Kaze and sheer adrenaline, Nyl jumped to the roof.

As she went up, so did he but placing his energy with a sudden repulse from his feet to the ground; he was sent flying to to the rooftop as well. He landed right next to her and smiled again and he came right up against her.

Seph, in no mood to jump or expend anymore chakra, scaled the wall. He crouched at the edge, watching in silence.

Nyl took several steps in a backwards direction. "So. It's not often you're the one doing the chasing, is it?"

Tutsumi smiled slightly as he dashed up right against her once more and leaned forward just enough so they could see eye to eye. His eyes were a mixture of humor, kindness and a slight saddened state that was almost completely hidden.

Seph's eyes widened, and he swallowed the knot that was building in his throat. He couldn't hear Nyl over his own beating heart.

Something I heard once...about prizes...but what was it? ...Oh. ...Blast.
"And how big the risk?" She was trying to get across the idea that his life was in danger, being so close to someone who had been so angry at him only minutes before. It wasn't working. She met his eyes, and her own widened.
How the heck is he doing that? Tutsumi...

Tutsumi smiled again as he saw her eyes widen, his body leaning closer to her own as he slowly gave her a kiss. His eyes closed as he did so.

And at that very moment, when Tut kissed Nyl, the world around Seph shattered. Very minutely, his body began to shiver. Before Seph knew what he was doing, he was rocketing towards Tut. Moving faster than he ever had before.

"You b*****d!"
He was coming in from the side. He hadn't planned this, but in retrospect, he would know this was wise. There'd be no chance of accidentally hitting Nyl.

Nyl stiffened in surprise. Talk about unexpected. ...But there's nothing I can do about it now. At this realization, she became fractionally less statue-like.

As Tutsumi was starting to really enjoy it, a fist hit him in the jaw which caused his face to move about a quarter inch. That kind look which was previously in his eyes returned to that cold glazed look as he looked towards both Seph and the fist. He slowly took in a deep breath, calculating things as he then just decided to ignore Seph.
"I'm sorry, Nyl...that it was broken by such a thing... Would you mind...a cup of tea? I'll make."

Nyl stepped back, looking between Seph and Tut like she wasn't sure which one was, at the moment, more dangerous. She recognized the look on Tut's face, though.
"Yes. Tea...tea sounds fine."
She looked at Seph, confusion and sadness warring for possession of her face. She didn't know what he was going to do.

"You knew.. You KNEW how I felt about her.. You were there.." His eyes were wild, furious, and yet full of agony. His eyes flickered, locking with Nyl's for a split second, but were immediately back on Tut. "You knew.."
His eyes locked with Nyl's once more, his fist still attached to Tut's face. "You know how much I care about you.. You don't know how much I've been warring with myself. Mentally. What to do, what not to do. I've been so bugged up with myself, wondering.. 'When will she acknowledge my feelings for her..? Does she feel the same..?'" He dropped his fist, finally, swallowing hard.

Gathering up from water molecules from the air, and taking out two cups which were kind of like traveling cups, he heated the water and placed two tea leaves in both to give it a rich flavor that it should have. Once the leaves were in, he offered her a cup and continued to smile at her once more as he sipped his tea VERY lightly.

Nyl looked at Tutsumi, holding out the cup of tea. I very nearly just told him to shove it. Experience tells me that wouldn't be good for my life.
"Sephiroth...I...I do care about you." She took a breath. "A lot. You're one of my closest friends and I trust you with my life. ...But I don't think, right now, that I...that I feel the same way for you that you do for me." She turned semi-frosty eyes on Tutsumi, but was still talking to Seph. "The thief over there stole that one."
Holding out her hand, she lifted her tea, cup included, and brought it to her using chakra. She sipped it, blinking. This tea...
