She was not awake nor asleep... her body was small, daily lotion had been applied to her... she felt the sheet that covered her.. her skin felt smooth yet unused.. she was stiff. The voices continued... something was going to happen, possibly.. her dark lashes tickled her cheek.. Essence tried to flutter her eyes but she couldn't quite find them in her untouched body.
