Kamahl stood up and made his way towards the woman on the sidewalk. People were already gathering about her to see what happened. With a slight growl Kamahl had dispersed the small crowd. He knelt down to get a good look at her. The face didn't look familiar to him at all. Carefully, he picked up the woman and started to make his way down the street...towards any safe haven for immortals.

Seeing neon up ahead, Kamahl knew that there was a safe haven of sorts nearby. He looked down at the woman to see if her condition had changed.
"Crazy Americans..."
Kamahl slowly made his way into the club.

Lory walked back to where she was shot and picked up her gun, which was tossed to the side. She quickly holstered it and left. (exit to park)

Samuel walked lazily down the streets of new york, he had heard there was an organized hunter group here, but he wasnt sure, he could sense the supernatural forces at work in the city, their ebbe and flow was as plain as a tide flow, he sighed "looks like i have alot of work to do" he continued on down main street

After walking a few blocks, Kamahl noticed a bank at the corner of an intersection. He waited patiently for the light to turn red for the cars so he could cross the street. After the light turned green, Kamahl made his way over to the bank.

It didn't take too long for him to finish his business at the bank. Luckily, an associate and close friend of his from Europe had already opened an account for him. Kamahl looked at the paper that the teller handed to him.
"Is this correct?" he asked. The teller nodded and handed him a safebox key for his personal use. With a happy expression on his face, Kamahl made his way out of the bank. Now it was time for him to finish what he was set out to do this evening. In a slow, smooth gait, he made his way down the street.

Lin wandered along the sidewalk, hands shoved in her pockets staring down at the concrete hard.
Her wet hair still hung in black strands to her waist but parts dried leaving behind a slight curl from all her running. The shirt she wore that stated 'Im up here' and had an arrow pointing to her head was wrinkled already from the small excursions from the night.
She had run into Kamahl in the weird bar and he seemed a little offset. She felt like she was intruding again. Lin had baggage. Lots of baggage. She always felt like the seventh wheel, the one left on the outside. The one forgotten until needed...and she knew he did nothing at all...but the feeling persisted.
Maybe it was all the years of running alone. It's ingrained and somehow she felt at a loss when communicating with others...
She sighed and kicked a few puddles...

Kamahl ran out of the club and after Lin. It took a few moments to catch up with her but eventually he did.
"You know, you look pretty with your hair down like that."
He walked alongside her on the sidewalk.

She turned almost tripping over her two feet and made a startled "O" face..
Her eyes darted to and fro as she regained her composure..trying to hide her shocked reaction
"Thanks" She said...
Her confusion was still trying to catch up to her vocal cords...somehow she couldnt form any words...

"Um..its nothing..I'm just a little out of it..." She grumbled....and turned to him.
"I'm not used to...well people dont usually...err...i'm not usually the girl that....hmm..how do i say this...."
She sighed...
"I'm used to being invisible."

Kamahl looked down at her.
"I did run after you, now didn't I?"

Her cheeks flushed instantaneously and she looked away as quickly as she felt them warm.
What the hell..she thought.
She turned back after rubbing her face with her hnds a few times...
"Yeah you did."

Kamahl smiled a little.
"See...you aren't invisible after all. There is actually someone out here in NYC that actually cares about you."
He tried to catch himself but couldn't. Quickly, he looked down and away from Lin. This was the first time in a while that he reacted like that.
