"Oh...okay then..." She watched Hunter leave with a sigh, then sat down on the edge of the roof, picking up a handful of the scattered petals.
Roses and... ...the irony of life amuses me. Nyl turned her attention back to Tutsumi and Seph.

The clone of Seph exploded into nothingness, but Seph pushed forward towards Tut. He grinned a bit, lighting a small blaze in the palm of his hand. He could feel the pressure being applied to his vitals and spinal cord. He dropped the fire, tired, still trudging forward. He took a deep breath, looking directly at Tut. He took another deep breath, blinking sweat out of his eyes.

Petals moving from off the ground now surrouns Seph in a thick circle around his feet. The border of the inside moves towards and onto Seph's shoes and climbs up his pants and surrounds his kneecap as others target the outside of the spine and neck.
"Do you give up, Seph? This isn't a spar you won't win this time."

Nyl felt the rose petals in her hand quiver. Surprised, she stared at them, but they didn't look like they were moving.

Seph shook his head. "Freeze." He said, looking directly at Tut. Their shadows had merged. The flame behind him had grown, pushing his shadow right into Tut's. Seph stood tall again, realizing that Tut needed to use handseals to control his jutsu's, he quickly parted his hands, slowly walking towards Tut. Tut, under the rules of Kagemane no Jutsu, copied his every move. They met halfway, and Seph raised his hand to meet Tut's.
"You know what this is, right?" Seph asked, referring to the seal he was about to perform with Tut. "It's really quite forbidden. It's called Souja Sousai no Jutsu. The Suicide Jutsu. As soon as I put our index fingers together.. we both die. Now I'm going to pose the same question to you, Tutsumi. Do you give up?"

If you were here I'd ask you to come out of the bushes and smack them both around. Men. Nyl rolled her eyes, seeming not concerned in the least for either Tut or Seph.

Tutsumi smirked slightly as the pressure on the petals increased and started to push against Seph's spinal cord and arms. Tutsumi didn't need any handseals anymore, he had found ways around that time waisting movement and simply used the energy that flowed through him; it was perfect energy balance. Even so, the petals were complleted with both his mental power and his energy, along with his blood. Very soon the ability to use his hands would come into Seph's life for a short time since the nerves would simply be clogged up and return to normal once the fight was over.
"Try moving your hands, Seph."

Seph wouldn't dare move the hand that he was making the incomplete seal with Tut. He tried moving his other hand, to no avail. He pushed harder and harder. Nothing. The pressure was beginning to bare down on him. It was as if he could feel his joints beginning to corrode. Seph grit his teeth, pushing harder.
He heard a crack, and a sharp pain shot up his leg. It didn't feel like anything was broken, but the pressure was starting to wear his body down. "I don't need to move my finger. All I need to do is move my body. Think about it. At the angle we're at, if I so much as let my legs give out, our fingers will be pushed together with Kagemane no Jutsu. Face it Tut... You've.. You've lost.."
It was a bluff. He couldn't move his legs at all.

With what Seph said, the petals shot up faster and began to place pressure on ALL parts of Seph's lower body while connecting to that of those on his back to make sure Seph had a nice stiff back. He wouldn't be able to even lean from this point onwards.
"Are you...so sure about that?"

"GRCK!" Seph's eyes closed in pain, and finally he dropped the shadow jutsu. The flame behind him flickered wildly, then died pitifully. Through labored breathing, he managed to sigh out, "Fine. You win."

As soon as Seph hand finished the sentence, te petals vanished into thing air, as did Tutsumi's vinewhip. He took a slow deep breath in as he pressed a few points in Seph's back which would allow him the use of his arms and legs.

Never say that again.
He stood and brushed himself off, sighing softly. He shook his leg, trying to edge the pain out of his mind. He walked to the crater he had made earlier and rubbed his chin, thinking.
"How am I going to fill this back in..?"

Tutsumi walked slowly over to Nyl and smiled, reaching from behind his hair to give her two things, a rose and a packet os assorted seeds.
" I believe Nyl wanted us to farm it out here for plants..."

"We'll fill it in, some other time. Not tonight. ...Tutsumi didn't break anything of yours, did he?"
'Cause if he did I have half a mind to make you fix it yourself.
She looked at Tut. ~You didn't answer before. Is that a tsuchi skill?~ One eyebrow raised at the things he handed her. "What..."
