In The Kitchen Wantcookie In The Kitchen otawara In The Kitchen I AM THE DESTROYER OF ALL HAPPINESS, INSPIRATION, AND BEAUTY TODAY. <******** BEAUTIFUL THINGS, THEY DO NOTHING AND DON'T DESERVE TO STAND TALL. LOOKING AT YOU MONA LISA.
I'm just thinking. Can you imagine if it got burnt? How many people would feel a loss of something that was never theirs to feel a loss of? How many people would be crushed that they never got to see it?
I really wanna see it, before something happens to it. :cI don't care about the Mona Lisa. :3 I don't really either, but I'd like to just be able to say I saw it before it burned.I do! D: Not because it's beautiful art or somesuch, but because it's a DaVinci work. He's like the coolest person to ever live. I've seen it too, it's not really anything special. It probably would be better if the army of tourists surrounding it wasn't ridiculous. EDIT: I AM A BEAUTIFUL THING; ******** ME xD
Not but seriously, I want to make a character who falls into the cliche of being evil because they can't stand beauty, or routine. Either that, or they just do it because it passes the time.
"Why attack Manhattan?" "Because it was there."
Like, their motive would be that beauty is perfection, while perfection doesn't exist, therefore the lie of perfection shouldn't exist either. Nature itself shouldn't exist because it lives the lie of being perfect for humanity, when it isn't. Not only that but practice makes perfect, and practice is routine, and routine is boring. Mundane and beautiful things deserve equal destruction.
Without the excitement of death and destruction, life itself would be boring, and therefore life is not worthy of existing.I think there's a flaw with this logic, though. You say that this villain hates boring things, and that life would be boring without death and destruction. Wouldn't the conclusion be that life ISN'T boring because of those things and therefore is fine until we discover a way to completely eliminate death? I'd also argue with this villain that something being imperfect or temporary can actually make it more "beautiful", but that's getting off-subject.

Megas XLR was ******** awesome though. I am talking a show that aired waaay before toonami ever was.

Zeph, I would advise that you don't argue with the insane villain. Chances are they are beyond logic, and want to shoot you.

I don't seem to remember anything like that, but my memory of those days is fried anyways.

True. Although, her aim is not life's destruction, but the routine and beauty of it. Her belief is that without her, life would be meaningless. Without her actions, life would be boring mundane, and all the perfect things in life continuing to be perfect.
She thinks she's important.
There's more to this, I know. I know that's the motive, and I think the motive itself is flaw.
She herself can't be perfect while aiming to destroy what is perfect.
