I was actually expecting you to whip out a boomerang at some point during this fight.
Except with this crowd you couldn't really use it as a throwing weapon... You'd never get it back.

All Link has is his sword and shield. I wasn't able to add anything else, being a late entry and all.

I actually thought you would add the hookshot in the first Upgrade Round.
To me, it was just "throwing out a length of chain with a hook on the end" or "A hook on a chain shot from some weird magic-machine thingy."
I mean, I never really thought about the mechanics behind it either, because it is sort of loopy. But I figured you could gloss over that with "It's magic" or something.
A boomerang works. So does kicking a chicken at someone.

I didn't feel like explaining how such a small thing held such a length of chain. xD
I hate saying, 'It's maaagic'.

Also: I'm heading out, Roen.
Provided I'm not too drunk I'll respond once I get home. And once I have a response to my PM query...

Depends.
Are you using it as a supplement or...
Well actually, why are you using it?

Lollipop Fiend Daarth Muscle Milk, does it take place of a meal and when should I drink it? Muscle Milk.. Uh, lemme guess, 200-360 calories, right? Assuming you're using the mix-your-own powder, it's probably.. 300 solid with 2% milk, somewhere over with 1 or whole. I'm not sure what you're doing athletically, but you can have it whenever you want, but I would add a piece of fruit or a slice of toast to go with it, so that you have some carbs to balance the meal out, unless you're trying to lose weight or something. If you do strenuous lifting, strength training, or long sports activities, I would say drink it and have a slice of toast or fruit 5-10 minutes after you work out so that you have some fuel to replenish your body until you eat your next meal. Basically, Muscle Milk (as I recall) is high in protein and fat. That makes it have a similar profile to meat. So you can use it as a meal, if you want. Unless you have a very precise, specific goal that requires good nutrient timing, you can have it whenever you like, but after you work out would likely benefit your recovery most from strenuous activity.

Roen, I think the IC reason why Link couldn't have anything other than his sword or shield was that.. well..
... there was no time, his sword was enough. Squadala, he was off! Those were the faces of evil. He had to conquer each of them. Well, I guess he'd better get going. There was the map. He chose where he wanted to be taken.
He just saved Zelda from Gannon! I guess that was worth a kiss, huh? HE WWWOOON~!

I'm really just looking for an alternative to drinking protein shakes and such since everybody I talk to says they're horrible. Everybody I've asked said that Muscle Milk has good flavor and works well, and as far as I know they have a lite product as well.
Just looking for something for breakfast since I hate oatmeal and cereal and I can't be eating steak for breakfast. As far as what I do, just cardio and such. Playing around with Hip Hop Abs lol. Should probably start running again, but just not enough time in the day.

They must have tried a shake from the 80s then. At least for me, protein shakes have tasted pretty good since the 90s, when I first tried one. And they were still a bit rough, then. I mean, Muscle Milk IS a protein shake, probably one of the first to really "explode" in terms of popularity. They taste better to most people's palates because of the extra fat content.
Really though, it depends on the brand, flavor, and if you mix it with milk or water. Water dilutes the flavor, milk supports it. I would suggest milk, unless you're super hxc about losing weight or something. Chocolate is almost always the best flavor of any brand, with Vanilla, Banana, and Strawberry usually following (though I had some of the Isopure brand, and the Strawberry > everything by FAR) after.
The best brands are EAS, Muscle Milk, and ON, at least for flavor. I prefer Optimum Nutrition and EAS because they serve my purpose better, but Muscle Milk would work better for you because of the higher fat content. You always want a bit of fat, carbs, and protein for breakfast, so you cover 2/3 of your bases with a MM shake.
Like I said, a Muscle Milk shake will work fine for breakfast. Scoop of MM, cup of milk, blend it. Have it with a slice of toast and an apple or orange. Pretty light, nutritionally solid breakfast. Breakfast is when you really need carbs, so if you can't have oatmeal or cereal, go for a slice or two of toast and a piece of fruit.
A really cheap alternative (if you can stomach it, some can't) might possibly be cottage cheese. I can't recall the cost, but it's probably cheaper to have a cup of cottage cheese each day as part of breakfast than a shake, especially if you buy the shake mix at full price.

Oh well, this change at least had some practicality to it and a few nice design changes. I've seen worse from them.
